No actually! Which I’m proud of. Let’s ignore the fact that I forgot to work on it.

Me: Man there should be a way of typing musical notes, like if I wanted to share a melody with people without attaching an mp3 file. Also me: Well duh, just literally use musical notation Me: I can’t type that on my phone, and what about non-musician people who can’t read notes Also me: hmmmmmm Me: looks at wall with poster “Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti Do” Me: I’m an idiot.

I literally didn’t see this til now =P His solo album Rockin the Suburbs is really really good. There’s only like 2 songs on that album that I don’t adore. I also like his most recent song, 2020. It has a nice melody and is quite funny imo, but it does drop the f-bomb once so language warning ig.

Radriarc groaned. Where am I? His memories were a blur. He remembered he was in Elendel, but....suddenly the events of the past few days crashed down on him. Radriarc groaned again, but for a different reason. Radriarc examined his surroundings as he stood up. He was in some kind of alley, surprisingly clean. Must be in one of the better neighborhoods, he thought. Judging by the setting sun, it had been hours since he had collapsed here. He straightened his wrinkled clothes, trying to make it look like he hadn’t slept in an alley all day. He left the alley, and began walking down the street. He found a nice looking bar and decided it was as good a place as any to collect himself. He sat down at a booth in the corner and waved away a waitress who tried to serve him. So now what? He thought. I made it away from that chaos, I didn’t die. That’s good. That was either perfect timing for a Breaking or the worst possible time for one, but either way it got me out of there. Should I go back? No, no of course not. Those people can solve their own problems, Se-al knows I have enough of my own. He felt a pang of guilt. No, no, stop it, this is the worst possible time for guilt. You didn’t feel guilty when you left the colony, why should you feel guilty now?? Another part of him whispered, Venten saved your life. Radriarc sighed. He knew he had to go back. Even though Venten has been the one to get him in this mess, if it wasn’t for him, Radriarc could have been cut down by those horrible Shardblades. That man, Kacen, he was dangerous. For all he knew the whole group could be dead. He had to go back. Had to help them. He stood up, intending to leave and go find the group, if they were still alive. Suddenly, Radriarc jumped. That doesn’t sound good. Against his better judgement he turned towards the scream to investigate.

I had a thought the other day: “Why do metalminds act the way they do? Why does gold store health? Why doesn’t steel or something store health?” I figured that was a pointless thing to think about, the answer seems pretty obvious, Brandon just wanted it to. It’s his magic system. But then I had another thought: “Why does gold store health? Why doesn’t gold store sickness?” This might actually be something worth thinking about. Why do the metals store the positive/useful attribute? Why does gold store health and not sickness? Why does brass store warmth and not cold? I guess that one makes more sense, as cold is really just the absence of heat. Why does bronze store wakefulness and not drowsiness? Is it possible, through some sort of hack, to create an inverted metalmind? Probably not, but it’s mildly interesting to think about.

Me and my siblings all independently had the same recurring nightmare when we were younger. It’s short. I’m in the drivers seat of the family car and My sister is in the passenger seat, with my other siblings in the back. The car is parked on a slope, a steep driveway or something, and then the car just starts rolling backwards. And that’s it. It’s scary when it’s happening.

Why is this thread entertaining? The donut ran through the house. My intestine was ruptured. The pillow was green. He laughed. At least I’m not in Denver. On the count of 7. The man walked. Says your mom. No it was Jim. Orphaned geckos. My laptop is broken. Sally was dead, or so they thought. The ballon was a hypochondriac. The road melted beneath her. The shuttle’s engine was failing. I wish I was an octopus.

I just realized there isn’t really a place to talk about RoW for those of us who are wanting to avoid the Preview Chapters. So I made one. Again, this is only for people who HAVE NOT read any preview chapters at all. Only up to Oathbringer. What do you guys think is going to happen? I don’t think Adolin survives this book, ngl. I am almost positive he’s gonna die at some point, either this or book 5. The only real dangling thread in his arc is Maya and all that, and I feel like that could be resolved in one book. Kal is definitely getting some rad Radiant Armor, if that is what happens when he swears the next oath. Point is he’s definitely swearing next oath, my bet is around halfway through the book. Navani might die, could see that fitting well into Dalinar’s arc. Because he hasn’t been through enough, obviously. I really don’t have any predictions for Shallan, she’s kinda a wild card to me right now. So what about you guys, thoughts on my predictions? Predictions of your own?

How do you feel about Amaram? Moash? I felt that Amaram was worse than Straff myself. Who’s your least favorite character from a writing perspective? Who’s written the poorest? Who do you find annoying to read? Some popular answers to this that I’ve found are Sarene, Moash and (shockingly) Shallan. I personally don’t have an answer to this.

I would comment on how there seems to be a lot of continuous thoughts and responses going on, but that would be related to how that is going on, and that would not be a non-sequitir, so instead I’ll say: Peanuts.
