  1. When the largest identity crisis you've ever had was whether you're a Windrunner or a Skybreaker I still haven't resolved that one
  2. Or drawing fire Then again, it's not so helpful in a crowded hallway
  3. tbh I'm surprised I haven't done that yet
  4. *Raises hand* Make that three. I usually use the full word but if I do use the abbreviation I use it correctly.
  5. Credit to Athelia who made the most recent one, and BreathTaker, who made one before that. Hmmm... How many of these have been made over the years? With that out of the way, let the hilarity ensue! One good one is from the Reckoners, though it's technically a reference; here's a paraphrased version: "I like you, but I'm too afraid to say it, so here's an awkward flirtation instead!" what am I doing with my life
  6. Uhhhhh Alendi never had the Well's power Rashek murdered him and took it for himself
  7. I would pick Willshaper, as apparently they are, uh, willful, and adventurous. However, I have no idea how true that may be. And you're right, Leia is probably more of a stoneward.
  8. Luke Skywalker: Windrunner Leia Skywalker: Stoneward(Edited) Yoda: Bondsmith Mace Windu: Skybreaker Obi-wan Kenobi: Stoneward Anakin Skywalker: Willshaper
  9. I don't believe so
  10. The biggest thing it shared with Alcatraz was the evil librarians. Unfortunately, I didn't have a Talent. The dream started out with me, my cousin, and my brother separated from our relatives. I don't remember how. The three of us performed an epic infiltration of a library, most of which I have forgotten. My cousin and brother were captured; however, I managed to escape. After that I went to a store, where I bought a few items that I don't remember and a bike without handlebars or a front wheel. For whatever reason, I didn't notice the bike was dysfunctional until after I had left the store. I dumped it outside. After that I went to infiltrate another library, which had a tiny store at the front of the building. I bought a rope there, a rope being the last thing I needed for one scheme(the unknown items from the first store contributed to the scheme as well). I have no idea what the scheme was, but I think it was what allowed me to infiltrate the library in the first place. I eventually reached a richly dressed room. There was a girl with a key(I think I found her in the room, but I can't be sure) to a vault which was in the room. Apparently inside the vault was some sort of refuge for members of the royal line(of which she was one of the last). She opened the vault and we went inside. I don't remember anything else up until a point where the girl had been captured by a rich-looking man with black hair, who may or may not have been her father or uncle. At some time after that, the man with black hair entered the vault. After that I had to find the key again. I also remember a Lego Star Wars III sequence where me and my brother played as clone troopers in the inside-the-vault environment, I'm not sure if that was when the man entered the vault or after I found the key and entered it. So the notable influences in this dream: -Alcatraz -Narnia -Lego Star Wars III
  11. I doubt that Nicrosil could store stormlight. It stores Innate Investiture(The ability to bind surges, the ability to burn metals) rather then Kinetic Investiture(The manipulation of gravity, the effect of pushing a metal), and as far as I can tell, Stormlight is definitely Kinetic Investiture.
  12. When no context is the creepiest context, you just might have slipped up A little bit

  16. Expect amusement
  17. So I've seen some discussion on Adolin's shardplate; apparently it belonged to a Dustbringer who appeared in the Purelake. I'd like to know 1) what chapter in what book this dustbringer appears in 2) how we know the knight's armor belongs to Adolin
  18. I have a theory that says the Cosmere is to Alcatraz what Alcatraz is to us Aka, the cosmere is a book within a book. Obviously, Brandon Sanderson exists in-universe, otherwise Alcatraz wouldn't have impersonated him, and the in-universe Brandon does write fantasy novels; mistborn and elantris at least. Then again, maybe this is simply more fourth wall breaking; either way, Alcatraz could enter the Cosmere by breaking the fourth wall; downward if my theory is correct, sideways if not. (The first is the equivalent of you entering a book, the second the equivalent of you entering a parallel universe)
  19. Technically, yes. Really, no. After all, the dictionary definition of "hero" is simply someone who is looked up to and admired, regardless of whether they deserve such attention. Based on the premise of the series, Alcatraz seems to fit the bill. In the popular interpretation of "hero", I'd say no, not because of any particular flaw or mistake, but because he wallows in his failures instead of trying to fix them.
  20. I got a super-powered flashlight, a mini board game, a leather working textbook and some kits, and a miniature ballista.
