  1. I was looking through Arcanum, and I found this: So, let's get to work!
  2. "And So it Goes" (with minimal changes to the original by, you guessed it, Billy Joel) sung by Shallan (if you have read WoR you probably know to whom, and if you have read OB you definitely know)
  3. Don't give it away!
  4. The following has very few changes from the original, it is about Moash, but it fits WoR Kaladin well too. I see the middle part as sung by Zahel. "Angry Young Man" (to the tune of the song with the same name by Billy Joel)(WoR spoilers):
  5. Literally 9 posts above you...
  6. If I were to get there at like 6:30 (which is the earliest I could), would it even be worth it?
  7. It is a thing in America.
  8. I feel that both of these xkcds are relevant to the discussion.
  9. I have a new parody "We Didn't Start the Highstorm", the link is in my signature.

  10. @Ark1002, make a question
  11. This was a labor of love, and towards the end a little bit hate, but mostly love. Storms Billy Joel is good at rhyming things. Also, any possible tweaks to make it fit the meter better are appreciated. "We Didn't Start the Highstorm" (to the tune of Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire") Look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair!
  12. Technically, it hasn't been 168 hours yet, so I still got it in by the end of the week (for a given definition of week). Also, the mid-twentieth century had a sadistic meter. This definitely has many problems, and I would love any suggestion to make it fit better with that twisted evil meter that it has. Anyway OB SPOILERS!!!! "We Didn't Start the Highstorm" (to the tune of Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire") Look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair!
  13. I have decided to return to the parody scene in the most ambitious way possible: "We Didn't Start the Highstorm" Unfortunately, it is not yet done, (though I will try to have it by the end of the week). I am mostly having trouble with the early Rosharan history, so if anyone could give me a moderate list of important events that happened pre-age of solitude, it would be greatly appreciated and speed up the writing process immensely.
  14. I had no idea that my work meant that much to anybody (and now I feel really guilty about procrastinating instead of doing more of these), thank you so much!
  15. This is one of the best that I have seen. I even upvoted your other post because you can't double upvote. That being said, I am a serial nitpicker, and I noticed that if you change Stormfather to Honor in verse 2, it will scan a bit better.
  16. 9 unmade=9 ringwraiths Faramir=Adolin Denethor=Elhokar (pre OB) Gollum=Szeth (pre OB) Galadriel=Nightwatcher
  17. I just added Breeze+Allrian and Spook+Beldre, but I didn't remove anything, and the prompt is the same.
  18. Shallan+Adolin Raoden+Sarene Vin+Elend Vin+Zane Shan Elariel+Elend Siri+Susebron Kiin+Daora Jalla+Lukel General Khal+Brightness Teshav Dalinar+Navani Navani+Gavilar Elhokar+Aesudan Ahan+Seaden Waxillium+Steris Ranette+Mira Drehy+Dru Rock+Song Kelsier+Mare David+Megan Prof+Tia Because this list is shorter, feel free to add (also, I don't know non-Cosmere people, so fix those if I messed up. Who would it be the worst to third wheel for?
  19. I know that the round has started already, but by the nature of the round I think it might make more sense to have each couple as a unit. Additionally, with that setup someone could be on the list twice, in two different couples (e.g. Navani and Gavilar and Navani and Dalinar).
  20. Eliminating Wistiow, because he seemed progressive. Who is the better parent of the two?
  21. I'm going to eliminate Lift's mother, because she is the only one we don't know enough about to definitively rule out, and this thread, which I enjoy was starting to die. Who DID start the fire?
  22. I look forward to the point when, doing my reread for book seven, I get to the point in WoK where Elhokar is introduced and think, "oh yeah, Jasnah wasn't queen back then, that is so weird and funny."
  23. It is DEFINITELY Nah-ley. Anyway... ...When you see this: and your first thought is "Scadrial? Nope, doesn't fit, and it would be too obvious anyway." (the actual answer was Gotham, and yes this is from over a month ago, I am catching up.
  24. Actually, I am pretty sure that that is an art error. The artist accidentally colored Kenton's robe in blue. My reasoning is that the assassin didn't have a hood, and the zinkallin in the shot belongs to a mostly-off-panel Ais.
