Cool, while we're at it what was that whole thing with May Aladar? I never understood that.

I really enjoyed them both. Elantris was Brandon's first published book, and he has gotten better at writing since then, which is the stem of the negativity, but it is still good. Plus, the negativity towards Elantris is far from universal.

I usually find inspiration by just listening to music that I enjoy until something strikes me as parodiable.

What even is the origin of that title? I think I once searched the coppermind for it and couldn't find anything.

I have realized that my Superpost above is getting so big that it is kind of rude, so I have decided to split it into two pieces. The following has very few changes from the original, it is about Moash, but it fits WoR Kaladin well too. I see the middle part as sung by Zahel. "Angry Young Man" (to the tune of the song with the same name by Billy Joel) "And So it Goes" (with minimal changes to the original by, you guessed it, Billy Joel) sung by Shallan (if you have read WoR you probably know to whom, and if you have read OB you definitely know)
