  1. I could have sworn she summoned it in her room while panicking before accidentally soulcasting Edit: never mind she didn't, but she did properly begin to summon it, so we can reasonably say that she did actually have it.
  2. @kari-no-sugata i remember seeing a WoB that Shallen would not have been able to soulcast in tWoK had she not tried to summon pattern, so that implies regression, it may be that she did actually have to restate her truths.
  3. Per WoB she is ahead of Kaladin (can't find it on mobile), Kaladin is on his third oath, so including the general oath, she has said four (general, presumably "I'm terrified", "I'm a murderer", and whatever the killed her mother one was)
  4. There is an in world book called "the way of kings" just like words of radiance has "words of radiance" and oath bringer has a book called "Oathbringer" it's the book Dalinar both quotes and listens to multiple time in the way of kings Nohadin was the author, he met him in a vision
  5. @Zea maysHe probably expects them to kill anyone he sends to do that, as far as he knows they will all be hostile voidbringers or will try to deceive his men then probably kill them anyways.
  6. Well the stormlight archives are set around the middle of the 10 000 year cosmere, (WoB somewhere) does anyone know when warbreaker is?
  7. The problem there is what night blood's threshold for "evil" and "good" are, depending, he could choose to kill our protagonists or save voidbringers. It doesn't help that none of the shards are "good" or "evil"
  8. It seems in line with that one death rattle (I can't remember the wording) about standing between the one who tried to destroy us (szeth) protecting him from the one who saved my life (Kaladin) can someone post that one? Pretty sure it was tWoK
  9. I seem to remember it being Dalinar saying that, in which case you can't always take that as fact, he would have been assuming the most probable option to him, the unmade. if it was actually the stormfather saying that then yes, it is almost certainly the unmade.
  10. @Darkness I can't find it at the moment but I remember there being a WoB that Renarin had something, I can't remember what. It seems unlikely that stormlight would effect other modifications to a brain's function (Kaladin, addictions) but not that.
  11. Any chance that his messed up memories could be a barrier between neurons, it would not technically be an injury therefore not be healed by my understanding of cosmere healing (aren't bullets only pushed out because of regrowing tissue?). However the bodies failure to access said memories would be an issue, possibly healed by the creation of a new pathway triggered by failure to remember/hear Evi's name when he admit's to such, then healing next time he used stormlight, allowing him to hear it the next time. Due to cosmere healing not being instant, I find it unlikely that he could have possibly healed and heard her name during chapter 16, would he not have either missed part of it or not heard it?
  12. Based on the sheer amount of detail about her character we can make a extremely reasonable guess that she would not be willing to have said breakdown, at a certain point very likely guesses have to be considered as good enough. In this case the odds are so far in favour of shallen not being willing to have said breakdown that we can say that the catalyst for Radiant's creation was not Adolin forcing her to use the blade extensively but being forced to use the blade extensively. There is no direct evidence saying the copycat murders aren't a regular person, but every theory leans on indirect evidence of the uncanny detail in the murders, and there is no real reason to question that. Even beyond that there is less evidence supporting Adolin being the only one that could have been that catalyst then that others could have been based on no one at all wanting to break down, no matter who it is with, everyone does everything possible to avoid triggers, especially if one is not thinking straight because they are about to have a mental breakdown! (Shallan's vision even darkens at one point)
  13. I thought Dalinar was only manipulating Shallan's light weaving with his resonance, not combining multiple powers like you suggest.
  14. Do you honestly believe she would be willing to have a mental breakdown in front of, say Dalinar if he tried to train her? What about his ardents? Anyone?
  15. The point I was making is that Adolin is not the catalyst, and that IF someone else made her use the blade extensively and train with it she would not have been willing to have a mental breakdown and instead use an avoidance methed like we saw happen
  16. To be precise, the catalyst would be being forced to use the sword for an extended amount of time, caused by Adolin, not Adolin training her. This is an important distinction because it means that Adolin is not the catalyst. Before you bring up her not wanting to break down in front of Adolin, you honestly think she would be willing to have a mental breakdown in front of either Dalinar's or a stranger, them being the other people likely to make her train?
  17. Didn't Kaladin see thier eyes? that could disprove stormform
  18. I half wish that one would not load, that would be amazingly ironic.
  19. Does anyone else have the issue where around half of kidwayne's images won't load? As well as a few other ones like two from asrael All that appears is the file name, no image, and for some not even that.
  20. I thought it was heavily implied that the freed parshmen weren't all voidbringers, and that the sailers and negotiators were trying to do the sort of things thier owners did. A lot of people in some of the other threads have discussed whether Kaladin should lead the group he came across and I saw one popular theory that only a few parshmen were voidbringers and they were leading these groups of free parshmen. Even beyond that, what army would need so many tacticians as opposed to soldiers? And why they seemingly be bad at negotiating if they were specifically trying to take the one nation out of the conflict? (in the conversation they said that the parshmen had outrageous stipulations)
  21. Actually, it's been discussed recently in another thread (I think it was the main one) that at least two orders would accept a "ends justify the means" person such as Mr T. There was a WoB on it, I think it was the skybreakers and the elsecallers. This post got ninja'd
  22. Well, you also have to consider ten as well as nine, because it could be the ninth of ten of something.
  23. While this could be the case, it is more likely, and simple, that this is referring to something along the lines of our astronomical signs, but, I will admit it is something entirely possible, only more likely irrelevant then not.
  24. Where was this back cover released? This is the first I've seen it.
  25. I can't think of any examples of common non-sentient Spren being invisible so it's more likely then not that windspren are visible, and so I support the statement about occhams razor, most of the time the simplest of all equal solutions is correct.
