Hi, character compiler guy here. Your character is technically fine. It's well-balanced, the bio is detailed, and it's not OP. I've added it to the list. In future, any updates to your character you'd like to make, or new character bios you'd like to add, would best be put there. I happen to follow this thread, so I saw the post, but it's easier on me if everything character-related is in one place. The only problem I have with it is his name. There's a Homeless named @AxeliustheGrizzled, which some people shorten to Axel (I prefer Ax, but that's just me). So, could I convince you to change your character's name? It's not a huge deal, and I'll respect your decision if you say no, but it would help reduce confusion. Let me know either way. Thanks!

Good question. I believe I am the only precedent for this particular scenario. Last time the Ghostbloods assassinated me (a few months ago) I came back as a Returned. At the time, my dog had a few thousands breaths due to a Dark Alley prank, so I got him to give them to me. No breath stealing was required. Theoretically, one needs a source of breath to sustain them, but it doesn't matter where it comes from. New sharders are one option, but there are others. We've been having trouble figuring out how to bake breaths into cookies, so you probably won't be able to eat them in the near future. But I'm sure there are other opportunities available.

This kind of stuff would be good to think through and include in your bio. I've got to go now, but I'll check back later and can update it then. This power seems pretty, well, powerful when coupled with prime invincibility. Some clarification would be good, and maybe some weakening to bring him down to the level of everyone else, if you could.

For titles etc. My view is that the main thing you've got to consider is that popular threads like this are read by a lot of people. It can be needlessly inconvenient for all those members, especially for mobile users. Increasing the font size can often be humorous, but it should be done sparingly to, as Voidus said, avoid disrupting the page flow. The Alleyverse RP tends to have a looser style guide than other RPs (due to the age and experience level of our participants), but writing with good form is always a good idea. To me, policing this kind of thing isn't a very high priority, but I take any advice from seasoned RPers like Voidus to heart. Worst case scenario if you take his advice is you become a better forumer (Yes, I know that's a made-up word). Best case, you become a better forumer and writer. That said, I don't like spamming. Posting multiple needlessly massive/plentiful posts in an RP thread is poor form, so don't do that. Just think before you post. Around here, if you make the wrong call your post might get edited, but if it was an honest error in judgement I won't hold it against you. TL;DR Something can be funny the first time, then inconvenient if you do it again shortly afterwards.

Awesome! Let's give this a go. It would be hard to justify having my character visit if it's fully unexplored, so I'm going to treat it like people IRL do the rain-forest. Most of it is unexplored and not known enough about, but entrepreneurial people bring tourists there to check it out anyway.

Riding on the back of a Tai-na was a nauseating experience, one he didn’t intend to ever try again. Near the front of their ride, a tour guide was loudly giving a running commentary to an audience of about a dozen other tourists. “Don’t heed the water!” he told them. “’Tis much nicer than t’was yesterday. Some ‘thids ‘most sank us!” He launched into a lengthy tale of how he had singlehandedly lured them away with a knife and a mango. Klo shook his head, and resumed his reading. The island has a diverse ecosystem. Many areas are unexplored, and are therefore considered dangerous to travel in. However, a surefire way to stay safe is to- The tour guide snatched the brochure from his hands. “You read too dang much!” he said exuberantly, sending spittle flying into Klo’s face. “Y’all don’t need books about islands. How would everyone feel about starting an RP thread to canonize all this, and explore the Other Side of the World in character, integrating the ideas we come up with in as we go?

Might I suggest a land mass made of solid gold? It would be populated with augurs who spend their time getting high on the metal, looking at their hallucinations to try to gauge how many extra pounds they've gained recently. We could call it the 'count-yer-weight continent'. Obviously, that wasn't a serious suggestion. If we want this to be a realistic planet, the other side should mostly be made up of the backside of four elephants.
