Who LOVES The Legend of Zelda!
Eluvianii replied to Ironwill2112's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Took a break but I think I'll finish BotW this week. Never had I found a game where doing nothing was so fun. -
Watched Gundam Thunderbolt December Sky. The visuals and soundtrack are beyond amazing. It's also kind of a horrifying movie. Will watch the sequel soon.

Well, you see.. TPBM wishes they had a bit more common sense as a kid.

I actually have been out of my state. Only once though. TPBM almost set a school on fire once.

Trails of Cold Steel (and the Kiseki series in general)
Eluvianii replied to Zurvanight's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Nice, though I do miss having a melody that's recognizable as the main theme for the arc. Like how Sora no Kiseki had a theme literally called Sora no Kiseki that appeared in about half the songs? I mean, Liberl had more than one motif too but that one was so omnipresent. Then Crossbell had sort of the same thing going on with Get Over the Barrier but I felt it was to a lesser extent. Then it's nice to know it does happen with Erebonia but so far the soundtrack does feel a little more, idk, disperse. On an unrelated note I love that the Ost District is the place where you can find music. -
Edwin was walking along a street, somewhere. He had made his escape after that incident with the door. There were questions, definitely, but they could wait. He didn't consider himself to be particularly shy, but there had been maybe one too many new faces today, plus the new possible but not quite threat of a guy with stone skin. After all that he just felt like taking a stroll alone. Ed felt something stinging on his cheek. Alright, with his spren. Though, looking around him he decided it was about time to come back. He didn't recognize the street, so that was a good sign that he had walked for a good while. At this rate he would have the entire city memorized in a few years. "That was very rude you know." said Twin a while later, when they were arriving at the house. "You go and introduce yourself ten times in a day." he replied opening the door and with a glance inside noticed even more new faces. "See?"

Trails of Cold Steel (and the Kiseki series in general)

So there is a leitmotif for this arc. Or, the first half apparently? I'll pay attention next time I play. -
Trails of Cold Steel (and the Kiseki series in general)
Eluvianii replied to Zurvanight's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Darn, I didn't remember Heimdallr's background theme being so good, I could listen to this for hours. Good thing too because that's what will happen anyway. -
Not yet, but maybe I should. The show is not exactly a yearly thing. At this point I don't really know if it's because there's not enough material yet or different reasons. It might even not be popular enough. Oh sorry, I should have specified there. Fate is a franchise. It has quite a few alternate realities that can be confusing, but Ufotable pretty much holds the rights to the main one, which they have adapted in Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works (UBW for short), a prequel called Fate/Zero, and a movie trilogy called Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel, following a different ending for the story you see in UBW (since it originally came from a game with three paths) which was just completed. So yeah, almost everything I've seen from Ufotable comes from the same franchise. Demon Slayer will probably the first I see outside of it. I always see it recommended. The art style is not my favorite but I'm definitely curious, and I prefer slow burns really. I have no issue with giant robots. The genre never interested me (save for Evangelion, which never felt like a mecha anime to me for some reason), but then I watched a few like the first season of Aldnoah Zero and the first Gundam series and I really liked them, especially the latter. Now Universal Century is pretty high on my list of priorities. Regarding Bones, I believe they made FMA Brotherhood? Also I saw a few episodes of Soul Eater, and yeah, the animation was great in both. Well, it definitely sounds a lot better than the Spanish or Latin-american dubs. I will check it out, any reason to re-watch this is a good reason. You got me thinking though. Trailer music never seems to match the actual soundtrack from the movie, speaking in general.

I'll be sure to watch it soon then. It has a silent fanbase but those I see seem to have nothing but praise for it. Natsume Yuujinchou (sorry, messed up the name the first time) at least here is on Crunchyroll, which is not the most practical option because the free version is pretty aggressive with the ads, but welp, I'm a student who has proved to be bad at balancing college with a job, so I lost my right to complain. It's been a while but I just double checked and it's still there. Also, it seems to be on Netflix? The English name is Natsume's Book of Friends but again, that is here. I know that availability changes from country to country. Yeah, I found Ufotable thanks to Fate. I watched UBW pretty hungrily because it was such a big change after the first adaptation. Then I watched Zero less hungrily because it's pretty depressing, then watched the first two movies on theaters and lost my chance to watch the third one apparently because space is limited in theaters right now. I did watch about half of Demon Slayer and it was pretty good. My sister is really excited for the movie and it's kinda contagious. Laputa is amazing. It's my childhood and a very fond memory from before I knew what Ghibli was. Or what anime was. And it has Carrying You which is my favorite Hisaishi song by a long shot. But I've seen two dubs of it and they're kinda terrible. Never seen an English version though so I might try that.

Mushishi looks kinda like Natsume Juujinchou, which means it'll likely become one of my favorites, but I've been pushing it back for a long time because I'm lazy and having a 200+ To Watch list doesn't help. About Demon Slayer, the movie was just announced for my city so it's time for me to watch it seriously. The reason I was interested in that in the first place was because Yuki Kajiura + Ufotable + LiSA is a killer combo so I was expecting something good anyway. (also, I always watch the subtitled version)

432. When you notice the signals that a story is happening, make sure you have good hygiene. Otherwise the universe will make sure you become a low rank bad guy. Good hygiene won't guarantee you a spot with the good guys, but it will prevent an unexpected catastrophe from occurring in your life as motivation.

Trails of Cold Steel (and the Kiseki series in general)
Eluvianii replied to Zurvanight's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Oh yeah, that's about the worst part here. My point with Elise was that she didn't handle it perfectly either but the entire class still ganged up on Rean like he was the only one making mistakes. But yes, for some reason, eavesdropping is something accepted within the group. Sometimes it's like they know it will happen, so they simply decide to have private conversations with the group already present. Given that, I'm just starting to take these things for granted. -

I'm not sure I agree with Class VII collectively deciding... CS1 Chapter 4 -

I knew there had to be at least another Lightshaper on this thread.

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)
Eluvianii replied to killersquirrel59's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Granted. And as the Nightwatcher is really thoughtful she notices your aversion to spending your time reading or listening to those things, and simply dumps the entire Cosmere story and lore into your mind. Now you know every single character, event, and plot point there will ever be, barring the need for you to read any upcoming books. I wish for a part time job that I like and that leaves me refreshed when I finish a shift. -
I can't remember but I don't think so. Still the last place though. TPBM is one of the few Bondsmiths on the Shard.
-
I've been wanting to watch that since forever actually, and even saw the first couple episodes or so, but I kind of want to play the novel first and because of that it's been in my backlog for around 6 years.

Trails of Cold Steel (and the Kiseki series in general)
Eluvianii replied to Zurvanight's topic in Entertainment Discussion
Nice! Crossbell is the best arc imo. I don't really have a right to talk since I haven't finished with Erebonia, but Ao is extremely difficult to top for me. -
Welcome to the Shard! Just a note. Usually bringing a thread this old back from the dead is frowned upon, though I believe it's allowed if you add something to it. Still, half the time we just create a new one. There are a lot of double or triple threads that have been created to avoid necroing. Back on topic, from this season I was thinking on starting the second season of The Quintessential Quintuplets. Aside from that, I'm watching Diamond is Unbreakable and was looking for some horror or mystery.
-
That is correct. TPBM is both a coffee person and a tea person.
-
Aztec chocolate? That sounds like it should be a traditional drink but I'd never heard of it. Now I really have to try it. So to answer this, no, but I won't stop until I have. TPBM needs a new pen.

Finally decided to finish Food Wars. Lots of controversial things can be said about this show and they'd all be justified, but I still consider it to be an extremely entertaining series and I enjoyed every episode. So yeah, good show, would and will watch again.
-
W-what's that? I want to try it. Mmmm not really. I'm the kind of person that throws everything around the room but I know exactly where I threw it. My room is a mess but I know where everything is. TPBM hates how fast dust accumulates.
