I should try charge blade at some point. My closest experience was with switch axes which I enjoyed quite a bit, but then I tried IG and it clicked so hard I haven't used anything else since. It would be fun to at least try to be competent with every weapon though.

Never had anchovies on pizza unfortunately, but I'm very curious.

Quite a bit yeah. TPBM has a MAL profile.

Spikes are a great topping. I mean, not as good as pineapple, but imagine convincing Ruin to mind-talk everyone who eats your food into believing they like it even when they don't.

Best weapon? Pogo stick supremacy.

Only one. TPBM is an only child.

Been reading xxxHolic recently. Started years ago but never got too far. Now I'm practically binging it and am about 2/3 of the way done. The narrative style is something I hadn't seen before. At first it's only short stories so it's pretty much a monster-of-the-week kind of series. But as arcs start getting longer, the story isn't afraid to have more than one happening at the same time. Protagonist will be saying goodbye to Important Character 1, as he worries about the recent events in Storyline 1. He doesn't have time to dwell on it however because Important Character 2 calls him urgently about the now beginning Storyline 2. We get some of that and it's a lot of emotion so how about a break with a short one-off story or two? Oh right, Storyline 1 is still happening, so we go back to that. So yeah, this thing is pretty much burnout-proof. Iirc the anime changes that and focuses on one story at a time. Probably a good call if they knew they weren't going to adapt the whole thing, this structure gets pretty nuts the farther the story goes. About the story itself, this manga is killing me. I watched the anime and it's good but now I realize how much was cut from it, especially from the second season. Mainly in terms of emotions. Characters who get punished and learn their lesson in the adaptation straight up die in the manga. A character suffering from already bad emotional damage from her mother in the anime goes full trauma and domestic violence here. On that note what was an almost nonexistent motivation and rushed resolution for said mother turned into a much deeper and tragic character. And the protagonist, covering only half the story they only scratch the surface of how good this protagonist is. I want to cry and as much as I don't consider a good idea to binge good stories, this may not last the weekend.

Dude, you can't go around killing anyone who disses on Syladin. Ah yes, with extra water please.

I do have three baseball caps. Got two of them from military service and the other from a family reunion though so not actually something I got out of choice. Oh wait, I also have a hat shaped like the head of a Chocobo. Never actually use it but I love that thing. TPBM likes to complain about heat and wants to move someplace colder.

Randy had been following the mini plane for a while now, until it came to a drastic halt. Right in front of one of their command centers. What? He couldn't stop quite so easily, so he risked getting closer to have a look right before he was forced to pass it over. It was a person. A person with wings. He shouldn't have been surprised, there was weirder stuff out there, but he was anyway. Not only that but it had come directly to this place. A spy? He should report it, he did have a radio on board. But, that wasn't exciting. If he reported it then that would be it. "Thank you for your service, soldier, now go back to your duties while we deal with it". No, he wanted to find this out by himself. It may amount to nothing, he might not even find the spy but his task right now was almost pointless anyway. The others could surely deal with it. He started feeling like a kid looking for an adventure on his backyard as he flew in a big circle and onto the landing track on the side of the fortress. Getting inside wasn't difficult. He made up some fake orders and that was that. Everyone was too busy with the ongoing battle to question him. Randy wasn't even sure himself why he was doing this, there was no benefit save for satisfying his own curiosity. However, every step already felt better than chasing defeated pilots who only wanted to escape. The war was so pointless, surely he could allow himself this one little escapade before going back to blindly following orders. Now, to look for the plane-person. He was so going to be sent to court for this.

Eluviani was walking through the forest, looking for a place to stay. He didn't have a backpack, or anything he could use as a bag, so all his stuff was out in plain sight. Sitting right there on top of his hands as he walked. He was an easy target but he wasn't about to leave his food behind. At first he just followed the stream, but eventually concluded it didn't lead to any river. With his luck it would turn out he was a stone's throw from finding one but he still decided to get away from it in the end. He drank as much water as he could, filled the recipient one last time, and started his journey. Now this only had to last until he found another water source. It should be doable. Even if he found nothing, he could come back to the stream, albeit after a presumably taxing journey back with no water. But the option was there and that comforted him. The arena shouldn't be impossibly big or anything either, the organizers would want them to run into each other after all. It had been peaceful so far though. He didn't know if it was normal to last two days without an encounter or if they just didn't show that on the broadcast. Maybe it was deemed too boring for the people in the Capital. The reminder that he was just a piece of entertainment dampened his good mood, but of course, it wasn't meant to last anyway. He did want to enjoy some peace if he could but, eventually he would need to fight for his life. That or let himself be killed. Showing no resistance to his future attacker was probably as good a sign of rebellion as any. That was a depressing thought. As he walked he found some berry bushes, the same kind he had eaten before. They were practically full too. Eluviani was already starting to get tired of berries but he couldn't be picky. The sponsor's food wouldn't last long and his hunting abilities had proven to be nonexistent so far. This could be his salvation in a pinch. He put his bundle down and started picking. As much as he hated to admit it, this was a pretty good find, really. He'd end up hating berries for the rest of his life but with so many of these he could probably survive a day or so. He hoped. The trees in the arena had pretty big leaves too, it wasn't too difficult to roll them into a cone to carry the berries more easily. Satisfied with his new treasure he walked back to his bundle. Which was gone. Eluviani hadn't walked ten paces away from it, he'd left it right beside the first bush. Now it had disappeared without so much as a rustle. It felt like a sick joke, his newly acquired backup food was now his only food. Great way to lose a sponsor too, giving away their gift like that. And now that he didn't have any water he really was on a timer. He told himself to stay calm but was punching a tree before realizing it. It hurt, and he didn't want to break his hand. He forced himself to stop. His body stopped moving and he made himself breathe to try and cool down. It worked, externally. Inside he was wishing the thief would just come out so he could continue what he had started on the tree. Calm down, don't be childish. With a sigh, Eluviani picked up the berries he had dropped when he started hitting the tree, and kept walking. Every drop of his good mood now gone.

I'm not really in a position to buy the game atm, and I'm not in a hurry either to be honest. The one I have is pretty massive, took me like 70 hours to get to high rank and I'm still just dipping my toes with that. In my previous post yeah. I replied to two tpbms before the one I cactually posted. TPBM is a tea and coffee person.
-
Mhgu, sorry. I do, they feel kind of exciting. TPBM was ninja'd more than once while writing their post.
-
Oh crap, I think I mixed up your cold medicine and the arsenic. Yes I can. For a price.
-
I do, unless they made new ones, but this isn't Pokémon, MH is more stable in that regard. TPBM is Lightweaving.

Trails of Cold Steel (and the Kiseki series in general)

Congrats. There will be other difficult opponents but not many. After this most games feel like tutorials in comparison. -

I think you'll still be able to challenge most people right before a very obvious point of no return. Same goes for Pom and fishing. -

It'd be red like 80% of the time and I'd never know why. Pls fix. TPBM plays old games.

Randy went back to his patrolling route. The enemy that had attacked them was gliding ungracefully towards a nearby field. He'd likely be arrested there and that'd be it, hopefully. He couldn't exactly save them the trouble that was coming but, at least for now, they were alive. Maybe they'd let them off with only prison. That taken care of, he let himself get lost in the feeling of the wind hitting him on the face. There were some new closed plane models but Randy didn't know what people saw in those, if you were going to let go of this feeling, you might as well be playing with toy planes. He dodged an electric ray coming his way, those were pretty common. Pretty effective against airplanes. They were dangerous but the enemy clearly wasn't focusing their mages on them. Probably better off helping on the frontlines, especially considering Randy and his teammates were pretty much on stand-by, so that meant there was only the occasional ray to dodge. Which to be honest was fine by him, though he did wonder for a moment how difficult it would be to evade constant shots from below, it could be a fun challenge. Maybe learn to cast them too. It was an option, now that he didn't live with his father telling him how unworthy a profession being a mage was, getting rid of his book collection when he wasn't looking. Maybe he'd do it some day, just maybe. As he was thinking about it, some light hit him in the eye, making him blink. It was like the reflection you'd get by aiming a wristwatch at an angle under the sunlight. Of course he was a few hundred meters above the nearest wristwatch and he very much doubted any reflections would reach this far. Randy tried to find the source of the light. It wasn't easy, he was moving fast and whatever it was, was clearly pretty small. He went off his route and started circling a smaller area, but it was still hard work. His attention had to be divided between watching for other planes in the horizon, watching for mages below, and looking for the light. He finally spotted, something. It looked like a bird but, something was off. The tail wasn't the right shape for an eagle or other birds of similar size, and no matter how white a bird was, they didn't straight up shine. What he was seeing now had to be metallic, against all logic, kind of like a miniature plane. Randy caught the reflection again, this time straight into his eyes as he was staring directly at it, and almost lost control of the plane. He blinked until he stopped seeing green spots in front of him and decided to follow the mysterious craft. He'd get in trouble, but his curiosity was stronger than his sense of duty. @Emery the Steelrunner

A god tosses a coin to decide if it goes into a junkyard dimension or under your bed six months after its disappearance. Do you use baby voice or normal voice when talking to a baby?
