  1. Somewhat, but it amounts to nothing because procrastination can nullify any talent. Do you enjoy the visual arts?
  2. Sure have, me, myself, and I. TPBM likes potatoes.
  3. "Anger control issues." Or maybe "irresponsible uncontrolled procrastination." Can you do a handstand?
  4. With the unmatched power of arguments and logic. Are there any events or things you've done that you regret recently?
  5. Paradoxically, it would be judgemental to say so. But definitely. Favorite niche music genre?
  6. The world is so surreal. My school just canceled classes because some idiot uploaded a picture, in the style of an invitation to a party, inviting you to "their first school shooting".

It feels and looks like a joke and yet you can never be too sure. And it's at times like these you realize that the school has no security whatsoever. Any person can enter, sit at a classroom, and pretend they're enrolled, so canceling classes is literally the only way to make sure people are safe.

    Weird times, seriously.

  7. I went out today with a friend, and we're not exactly known to empty our pockets on a meal or anything, but I still took some money with me. The plan was not to spend much, if any, but just in case if emergency or something.

So anyway, here's my new copy of Les Misérables.

      That's beautiful!

I always love increasing my book collection. Good for you!

It is! I feel like publishers might be trying to get people to read more classics. They usually have much more drab covers, with like just a picture of the author in sepia tones and such. These new covers I'm seeing recently are so colorful and pretty.

  8. School has slowed me down massively. I come home too focused on wanting to sleep. It's hard to motivate myself to read. But I'm trying to get back into it. I, however, have lost my save file, so might as well write some general thoughts up to chapter 5 of Minagoroshi while the skip button does its thing. As a side note, the more this progresses, the more meta jokes we get. Rika complaining that the audience wanted to see Miyo in a cat costume, or the whole deal with Mion saying she wanted this to be an animation, or Rika looking at the camera. Pure gold.
  9. I'll probably stay alone in my room playing video games and watching anime for all of next day. In a you ate too much good food and need to rest kind of way. But with people. What's your favorite way to spend a long weekend? (as in, there's no classes on friday/monday so you have an extra day)
  10. Granted. Your retention is unaffected though, and such a massive amount of information in such a short amount of time slips from your mind within another five minutes. I wish for the sweetest sugarless pie.
  11. I'm not even sure what pollen looks like. I can smash my face into a flower safely though. TPBM knows a terrible secret.
  12. Sure do, most of the time. It's the main reason I take consoles to uni. Can you spell the alphabet backwards?
  13. Ilia opened her eyes, though not because she wanted to. Yesterday had been enough of a lesson, she needed to eat before going out. She shuddered as she dressed, and remembered everyone looking at her, letting her speak, paying attention, and her stomach growling halfway through her introduction. Yeah, not again. She got out of her room and started fixing a quick breakfast with things she had hurriedly bought after the incident. Cereal, bread, frozen waffles. The essentials.
  14. Crap. He had reinforcements? Randy had only seen one flying person but, even seeing him had already been difficult. And who was to say his friends had been anywhere close? It wasn't very spy-like to come in a team but, well, he couldn't take any chances. "Suppose I believe you." he started. "That would only give me a reason to tell my superiors about your coming. I don't even care if you take that chance to escape, if you're telling me about an attack we can have the whole building fully guarded in a couple minutes. We lose you but stop your friends. Fair trade, right? Bet they'll like to hear it was you who gave us the tip." That was a bluff. Under any other circumstances it would be true, but in the middle of an attack? He doubted they would even listen to him. They may listen and get some guards to come up, if they could spare them. Or they may cut him short the moment he started talking and tell him to go back to his plane. Punishment pending. So it was another bet. He had taken an irresponsible number of those during the past hour.
  15. Eluviani walked through the forest. The ground was uneven and hard to walk on but he wouldn't have noticed if he tried. He was going to the Cornucopia, he hoped. A Feast. Supposedly something he needed was waiting for him there. What did he need? Heck, what didn't he need? Food and water? Well, he couldn't complain, he had managed to salvage some supplies from that District 4 guy. He didn't remember his name. Curiously enough, that was what he felt the most guilty about. He hadn't killed him but... No. He had killed him. Enter may have swung the sword, but his blood was on Eluviani's hands. Why? Why had he done that? He had promised to only attack in self-defense. What kind of sick game was he playing at? Forcing another to take a life for him. He wondered who had it worse. The District 4 guy, who had died, or Enter, who had been forced to kill him. At least he had lost the sword during the whole ordeal. That had been a small relief, at first, but the sponsors. They had been all to quick in replacing his weapon. He felt the axe in his hand, and it seemed too heavy. A wood handle, a metal blade, a life he had taken, and a life he had ruined. Too heavy. He wanted to say he didn't care. He surely was as good as dead for his family, after that... incident. Might as well die for real. But he was scared. Without any right to be, he was still scared to die. Eluviani looked up and saw that he had arrived. There it was, the place where it had all begun, not three days ago. It was quiet. Dangerously quiet. He tried to see what it was that he was supposed to take. It was a sorry sight honestly. Just a bunch of basic supplies, and some memoirs from fallen tributes. The higher ups were going to help, but not too much. Wouldn't want to ruin the show. Then he saw it. A staff, leaning against the Cornucopia itself. Long, and heavy. And blunt. A weapon that wasn't meant to draw blood. Of course it couldn't be for him, could it? The organizers knew he had a weapon already, a more lethal one, and surely making the coming battles less bloody wasn't exactly in their best interest. And yet, it called to him. Eluviani found himself running towards it after waiting for a chance. He managed to get to it uninterrupted. There had been a skirmish by the center as he waited but still, he thought it would be more, eventful. Maybe the rest were as scared to come out as he was. He dropped the axe, a trade of sorts, and took the staff. He didn't care if the next person started their own bloodbath with it. Right now, he just wanted a chance to stop his. He ran with his new weapon in hand, and a sad hope to not make more mistakes. Even if the ones he had already made were unforgivable.
  16. There's this weird little book club called the 17th Shard. Do you like storms?
  17. More than I'd like to. TPBM likes horror.
  18. Yep. TPBM likes to climb trees.
  19. Obsidian. I'm at a stage where a teacher asking you to take physical notes is a very rare thing. So if they're gonna be digital they might as well look cool. Any useless but fun information you would like to share?
  20. Feels like a good time to add: Navani. RoW has been a ride.
  21. I don't get poetry not gonna lie. I also most definitely don't have the guts to dedicate it to someone, let alone write it. TPBM is writing an essay.
  22. I have one, I'd say one is enough. Though two wouldn't be too bad. Is there any weird/exotic/hard to get in general food that you have to eat before you die?
