  1. I have a question. Hoid must know that Odium could mess with his memories. Messing with memories isn't jsut something Tarvagian could do is it? Why wouldn't he protect his memories? Putting your memories in to a giant ball of invesiture doesn't seem subtle. Seems like a God can see that. Putting your memories into metal, well that we aren't sure if a God can see or not. Further more the scene sells Todium as a villian either way, it's inconclusive to who is right and who is wrong, i believe the scene was made to be vague like that. I have a feeling when we find out in the future, it will be Hoid who gets the better of the exchange, and this could be end of book 10 type of thing.
  2. I think gods have a problem seeing metal? I may be wrong about this That is why he could see the breaths but not the memories in the coin. As for the terror, have you ever been really afraid of something, but did it anyways? Edit: Just some thoughts i just had. Why would Hoid make himself vulnerable to a God without a plan. Was Hoids plan just to rust talk him? He must of put himself at risk for a very good reason. Otherwise what benefit could Wit get from exposing himself? Did Rayse promise not to mess with his memories in the past? Hoid must of known his memories were at risk when looking to speak with a God. How did Tarvangian even outwit Hoid here? All he did was mess with his memories, Rayse must of had this power as well. Edit: #2 Hoid was terrified because he didn't remeber storing his memories in the metal mind
  3. I noticed that the food has a bunch of worms in it. Anyone think this was caused by a sleepless? Were they trying to prevent the assassination, by stoping the feast?
  4. His real memories are in the coins. He baited big T with the memories stored in his breath
  5. I think you are right. Hoid stored his real memories in the coins (metal mind). Can gods see metal? His trap memories were in the breaths.

  9. Let's not forget cultivation has also been training the night watcher for all these years. I'm convinced the night watcher is going to be more involved then just a bondsmith's spren
  10. I love these podcast, I just wish the host wouldn't interupt everyone, let the people finish their point before adding your agreement/disagreement. Sometimes I can't even here what grace says because the host has to say something while she is talking.
  11. Will Hoid know Rysn is a dawnshard?
  12. Will Hoid be able to recognize Rysn as a dawnshard now?
  13. After reading these additional post I'm not sure about my opinion anymore.
  14. I do not have proof, sorry if I made it come off that way. It's just my belief. My belief comes from the relationship of the nahel bond and how closesly connected spren are with their radiant. Especially Radiants of the fourht/fifth ideal. The truth the Radiants learn before the recreance was so earth shattering it caused them to abandon their oaths and kill part of their soul/best friend. If the Raidants were willing to do that then i believe the Spren were willing to make the sacrifice.
  15. A couple of words that stand out to me here: - "dawn" - "years of change" This cant be a coincidence.
  16. I disagree on this, the spren who were killed went through the same thought process that the Radiants did. Maybe some of them are pissed, but I believe a lot of them were on board for it.
  17. How did Nale get a Larkin? I know he used one to catch Lift. Also what did Nale do to it after?
  18. Nice catch! "Us" being the Sleepeless We know the Sleepless will be present in the future Mistborn series. I forget the ERA. That means in order to destroy the Sleepless, Dalinar would have to live for a long time. Unless the "Us" is just talking about the 24 Sleepless on Roshar. You would need some immense power to kill 24 sleepless. Dawnshard? Shard?
  19. I loved this theory when I first heard of it! Pretty dead on.
  20. Here is the theory, I love it by the way.
  21. I believe the Aviar is what gives him the ability to sense people nearby. I am not sure if we have had any other hints in regards to life sense from breath.
  22. Vin is still a Mistborn, even though she is other things. Kaladin is still a Radiant even though he has other duties. I didn't say Mraize is only a merchant. I am just pointing out that we had a huge hint that he was a merchant from the second book! I didn't see anyone predicating he was in the business of selling things even though we had the interlude with Rysn. Hints I can think of off the top of my head: - We knew of off world economies - We knew Stormlight was one of the easiest ways to get investiture - We knew the Returned could use the Stormlight to stay alive, making it valuable - We knew from Rysn who is a merchant refers to her mentor as Babsk I wasn't implying he was only a merchant. With how good people are at predicting things on this website, I'm a bit surprised (with hindsight) that it wasn't picked up on. Sorry for poor English, it's my second language.
  23. It's almost embarrassingly obvious that Mraize is a merchant, I don't think anyone predicted this. He literally calls his mentor Babsk. The same thing Rysn calls her Mentor.
  24. Brand remind me of Hemalurgy
  25. What an amazing theory. I love it.
