  1. Because he had the ability to create enhanced lines of warding, which I predict will be very helpful, and certainly make him a target for the elims.
  2. Sure: This post is just a pointless acknowledgment of the write up, and posts like these basically always read as elim to me because they feel like an attempt to get in the village’s good graces. This post just in general reads really bizarrely to me. There was a lot of evidence previously presented that implied that CadCom was not the thief. First of all, there was my scan of him taking a non-rithmatic action the same night, and the lack of bribes the following day, which he has stated are vital for his wincon. Then there’s just the fact that it would be stupid for an elim to pm someone saying they were going to draw a line, and then not do so. If the camp was over run, they would have the perfect target. Additionally there’s also the fact the Xino flipped elim. It wouldn’t make sense for an elim to pm another elim in the scenario, seeing as it doesn’t really provide either of them the benefits they would get from pming villagers. Another thing that bothers me about that post is the way it calls for a lynch on CadCom, but today you only just now voted for him. Once again, something in this post just feels off. You talk about there being four elims, three left, and then line of vigor-ing their targets, but then immediately transition to talking about what Striker was doing, even though I had stated earlier in the thread that he had been pm contacting people.
  3. That's an awesome WoB! Nice get!
  4. I hadn’t noticed that, and that might be nearly enough to switch my vote to Ventyl, though I think a reread of his posts are in order before I decided.
  5. How would you say CadCom could be useful? I can’t help but disagree. The only thing we share in interests is the camp being overrun, but we don’t know if CadCom can even use Rithmatics, and lynching him hopefully won’t add one to the defense of the camp, which is what I’d rather have over lynching a villager.
  6. Several of Ventyl’s posts have raised alarm bells, but it feels more like tunneling. I would be willing to vote for them though to create a more secure lynch.
  7. I’m just going to go ahead and drop a vote on CadCom considering we don’t have any better options, I’d rather lynch a confirmed threat.
  8. I know another famous one is that around 2011-2013ish(I’m not 100% on the exact year) the user Featherwriter predicted
  9. What do you mean by: “If things had gone differently night one I wouldn't have chalk”?
  10. @Shqueeves Do you have chalk? Just want to know if I should be planning on burning the chalk tonight for defense.
  11. So I don’t know about other people, but Striker contacted me, asking about defending the camp. Did he contact other people, or just me?
  12. Please don’t. I’d rather not lose my specialty book to someone who might not even be able to use it, no offense.
  13. Scissors just shrugged, though it looked more like he was trying to cut something, but it was the best a pair of cutting implements could do.
  14. Quick Reminder that we need to be thinking about defense. I suggest that people don’t coordinate through CadCom, (obviously), though I don’t know who a potential alternative might be, though if I had to pick, right now I would probably choose Alv.
  15. Yeah, but how do we know that when you complete this goal, you are removed. It’s in your benefit to conceal that in reality you win the whole game, especially at this point, in order to ensure your survival no matter what.
  16. I’ve started doing a reread of the thief mechanics, as I had completely forgotten about them. However, from what I now remember, the thief is usually against the village correct? So wouldn’t it make sense to lynch them anyway? (Also, considering that CadCom has a bribe, you are effectively just voting on me, rather then tying the lynch.)
  17. I wasn’t sure if I could trust him. I don’t know, I kind just had a gut feeling and went for it. Edit: one more quick thing to add in response to a different point Devotary made: Not necessarily. Nothing happens when the camp is over run the first time, and CadCom would have been clearly shown to be responsible due to his posts in thread. Another thing that bothers me is why did CadCom automatically assume that it was necessary to pm me, rather then just lie in thread. He couldn’t have known that I had taken an action to look at his actions, and if I had not then the lie would have been undetectable.
  18. CadCom I used a line of making on CadCom last night. He did not take an action involving chalk I later asked about this, and he pm’d me saying that he had a secret role, one that did not start with a piece of chalk. I was/am doubtful, however a reread of the rules seems to imply that such a role is possible: (note the fact that instead of saying all players start with a piece of chalk, each role is listed as starting with a piece of chalk. He said that he had pm’d Xino, and waited till night before realizing that he did not have chalk, and so could not draw the line of warding. CadCom then explained to me in the pm that because of this, he organized the Lines of Warding last night. It was at this point that I became rather suspicious. My suspicions were further aroused when he said to me that his role could not be proved according to known rules Let’s assume that you, the reader, got a secret role, a role whose actions were foreign to you. The first thing I know I would be doing is checking the actions, items, and what was different compared to the previously known roles. Because of this, I find it highly unlikely that it slipped his mind to check for chalk. So then why send the pm to Xino, saying that he was planning on defending tonight. I know that if I was sending said pm, I would confirmed that I had chalk, especially if I had a unique role. He also had the ability to rectify this, even mentioning in thread in this post: That he was considering picking up a piece of chalk, and in a separate paragraph recommending that the village pick up as much chalk as possible in order to prevent them from gaining control of a large supply of chalk. But that cycle he instead picked up the bribe. The previously mentioned post also proves that he was thinking about chalk at the time, and that it hadn’t slipped his mind. The above points lead me to believe that CadCom is in fact a Forgotten pretending to have a secret role in order to cover his attempt to hide a kill action among the Lines of Warding.
