I understand it's pro-village, however you only need 8 more votes to get Drake elected, not counting you or Drake, (who hasn't voted, but I'm guessing will obviously vote for himself). I really doubt it will be that hard to get 8 people to make an obviously pro-village action. So at the current moment I am not going to vote for Drake, I'm sorry. This is up to change if you really need the votes later, but until then, I'm not planning on voting.

Ok, I think you are misunderstanding the point I am trying to make. I never said people should not vote for Drake. People can vote for whoever they would like. However, what I did say was that a statement like the one made above changes the motivation for voter to the point where I would become suspicious of those who do vote for Drake. The statement you made, changes the way this vote is viewed. Instead of being an election based primarily on the candidate and their merits, it has become an opportunity for people to try and clear themselves, or at least point to their villager-ness because of this vote. That's the reasoning behind my points. Yeah, so readers of this: Go ahead and vote for Drake, or whoever really you want to vote for. Be my guest. If you vote for Drake however, just keep the above in mind.

Because someone voting, after you made that statement, is likely voting in reaction to it. And the most likely reaction to a statement like that is that someone (who hasn't voted) doesn't want to be seen as elim. Who are the most likely people to not want to be seen as elim? Obviously elims. Because of this, I would be suspicious of anyone who voted for Drake after you have said this.

Yeah, so seeker wise Snipexe definitely seems like a good target (I would like to clear my name obviously) It really worries me though that we have yet to see another seeker result.

So at this point it feels like things are kind of dead in the water. We’ve sort of hit a wall, thanks in part to the lack of conversions/elim kills (Seeing as they provide information). As such, I’m willing to be a lynch this cycle so as to both clear me out of suspicions, and create the ability for there to be another conversion (I’m a misting).

Palpatune watched as the senators went this way and that, wandering about the room. First they were mad at one fellow, then another. They had even gotten upset at him for a time. He shook his head, and then let a smile slip to his face. He was starting to hear the first few notes of a song. He pulled out his notebook and jotted down several chord progressions, and the basis for the melody. Yes, this could work, he thought while humming it to himself. This could get him re-elected. Little was known about Palpatune’s secret identity, the elusive “Count Gold”. It was the way he generated the funds for his campaigns without the need for special interest groups. It may have seemed strangle to some that Gold would release another one of his albums at almost the exact time that Palpatune’s district was up for election, but no one thought much of it. It was simply a coincidence. Simply a coincidence. As the group finally seemed to reach an agreement, Palpatune felt the need to stand and share something. It was a political move he had been planning for quite some time, something that if done correctly could be enough to get him to the head of the arts and literature sub-committee. ”Have any of you seen the opera recently? They are playing “The Mists within a Women’s Heart.” It’s really a lovely story, the performance excellent. And it was written in the roughs too, surprising I know, that culture can manifest in such a desolate place.” He sat down. That should have done it. Perfectly calculated as to give the impression of him being familiar with the arts, which he was, but they needed know that, and to appeal slightly appeal to the Roughs elected Senators without offending those of the city.
