  1. Elsa is an official advocate of DA baked goods, we wouldn't invade the Newcago court without a very good reason.
  2. I mean hypothetically the guild that created those thousands of hemalurgically-created monsters would also need enough power and resources to keep them in check, so even without the actual army they could probably still just take over everything.
  3. It does seem to be more or less as powerful as gold compounding is, depending on how much Stormlight you use. It's a little more limited in quantity than gold compounding, since you can only hold so much at a time, but we've seen some people with Stormlight heal some pretty insane things. It doesn't increase durability as far as we know but I do think it was also mentioned in tWoK that it increased strength, don't have books to hand right now though.
  4. I'd like to point out that Ene is now the most correct, assuming we take correctness as measured by how many correct statements are within a single post.
  5. Can make the threads a bit confusing but there were responses on both copies of the thread so it seemed easier than losing some replies.
  6. Sure. Yeah, made a mistake here. Should say: Weaknesses: Fanatical devotion to his religion. Also, he wants to destroy the DA, which is basically suicidal.
  7. Merged this topic with the duplicate.
  8. I think the raising of an army should require some kind of external approval to ensure realism. Unless you resort to an enforced draft you need to convince people to join your army, and convincing a normal person that they should join your army so that you can use them as canon fodder against a DA horde or a regiment of chaos marines is not going to be easy. I don't know if getting full approval or a formal vote is necessarily the right way to go, but if you can't convince other players that people should join your army then you probably wouldn't be able to convince NPCs to do so either.
  9. All good, happy to see that we were thinking along similar lines.
  10. As has been established, Voidus is the Ghostbloods, and Voidus is a part of the DA, therefore the ghostbloods are a part of the DA.
  11. Ahem.
  12. It'd take too much Breath to Awaken Duct tape. Powerful objects would resist the Investiture. So you'd need at least a million Breaths to Awaken one piece of duct tape.
  13. You may have one roll of duct tape provided that no tape is torn off. It's power must be contained!
  14. Duct tape is not allowed in era 3. Too OP.
  15. Blasphemy!
  16. Yep. A frequently under-appreciated aspect of the Alleyverse is the complete lack of nails anywhere, we're still not entirely sure how people managed to build freestanding structures in spite of that.
  17. Usually I have to edit people's posts to add this in, glad I get to save a bit of time.
  18. Archer has final say atm. We all might weigh in if there's something that seems definitely unlikely to be approved or offer advice but Archer has veto power.
  19. *awkwardly accepts fistbump*
  20. Grandpa's old war buddies that everyone's heard stories about but almost no one has seen?
  21. If we went with that I'd suggest probably a 2:1 split, so probably 100 free points, 50 skill points. So Investiture cap is still limited to 100, which I think prevents most of the broken combos.
  22. How about you can use Investiture points to acquire skills but you can't use skill points to acquire Investiture? @Sorana
  23. I think because it's still being drafted that we're holding off on that. Latest draft is here:
  24. We cater for most of the parties, so there's that at the least. Also, SCIENCE!
  25. Probably TUBA if I'm being honest, loathe though I am to support that decision Well I suppose you could say that the DA does fun stuff too, but you have to be a special kind of person to see it as fun.
