  1. Brandon's confirmed that he has Lerasium, I think Phantom is talking about how much Lerasium he has.
  2. Actually thinking about it, on why they don't use the Honorblades the Parshendi do hold to quite a strict system of Honor, they might think that using such an overwhelming weapon that the enemy don't possess would be dishonorable. So that could still work. On this, Shards can sense eachother, especially if they were on the same planet so I doubt it would be this easy to hide from Odium, he found Aona and Skai easily enough and they were on an entirely different planet.
  3. *Spikes some1's memory out and uses Lightweaving to create a disguise* Yes, I love living so close to BYU. No, I live in Australia which means I have 0 chance of getting down there for a midnight release I'm in Adelaide which is really nice, a bit quieter than the other major cities here and the rent's a lot better, plus thanks to timezones we can get books before even the midnight releases in the US mwahahaha!
  4. Did we ever have 100% confirmation on this? If not, then yay!
  5. I'm pretty sure that the Heralds had Honorblades, and that the Dawnshards were something different, could just be different names for the same thing, and it's not a real problem but yeah. Anyway, I really like this, although it does beg the question of why they don't use them against the Alethi. That sounds about right to me. A couple problems with this one, firstly being that a Shards cognitive aspect only affects the population of their Shardworld in small ways, it's not a big effect so it shouldn't cause people to act less honorably really. Secondly the KR have already gained their powers, I don't think that they had variable strength due to how honorable they are, and as they were heavily invested with Honor anyway, the splintering shouldn't really affect their Honorability at all. Third that's the second oath of the Windrunners, not the first of all the KR. The first oath is "Life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination."
  6. I think most of them could handle thirteen twigs, but also that depends on their sturdiness, flexibility, etc. which is the problem here, probably a circle of 13 average Aes Sedai could take Rand but the thirteen weakest? That's more like whether or not you could rip up thirteen pieces of paper, perhaps a little difficult, but not overly.
  7. I know that something can't be Soulcast into a gems, but I can't remember anyone talking about gems not being able to be Soulcast, although if they're full of Stormlight they might resist it.
  8. But they have a renewable source of gems, so it would eventually recover. Still a great idea though, I can conceivably see Sadeas trying something like that, just getting a Soulcaster into Dalinar's treasury and Soulcasting it all into air.
  9. Everyone would die But you'd need more gems and Stormlight than exist probably, Jasnah cracked hers just from one room's worth of material being Soulcast and hers are quite large gems. We can change one element into another, it's just very difficult and energy consuming. I don't understand how that would break reality though, there's no reason it should have any large scale consequences like that in the cosmere.
  10. Not to mention it goes against feruchemy being end-neutral, you get out what you put it, so the amount of weight you store can't be suddenly increased just because you've been hitting the gym or pigging out
  11. Seriously? You can dodge anything and hit at exactly the right moment, everything is essentially in slow motion, that's pretty much only useful in a fight as far as I can think of, other than just for impressing people.
  12. No it's just used for both, but when it refers to using allomancy to fuel feruchemy it's capitalised. I think a while ago we tried to come up with another term for just drawing out a lot of a feruchemical attribute but I don't think it went anywhere.
  13. That'd give increasing returns though, if it was percentage based then you could multiply it's effects. eg. tap 100% weight so you're 2x as heavy then tap another 100% so you'd be 4x as heavy instead of 200% I think that that's just the easiest way to talk about storage, he's not going to suddenly undergo changes in weight so it's a reasonably accurate standard and easier than working out how much that percentage of your weight actually is.
  14. Depends what you like reading, all three are a bit different but I'd say all are equal in quality.
  15. Only problem is that we already know that the Windrunners use Gravity and Atmospheric pressure as their 2 Surges, magnetism might be one for another Order but it's not how the Reverse Lashing would work, I'm going with what Turos said, it's just about how Cognitive aspects all work, the way the object perceives itself.
  16. Yeah, they're all written by the same person and their identity is supposed to be a secret so it'd be a bit spoilerific to explain it. Happy reading and welcome to the forums!

    Releasing Atium

From the interview database: http://www.theoryland.com/intvmain.php?i=691 Question 15
  18. My personal theory is that Hoid collected them all, took them back to his home base and uses them to cut his hair when he needs to disguise himself.
  19. No I don't think she does, she's reluctant to even appear to others though so she might just not want to as opposed to be unable to. I wonder if Rock could hear her though, since he can see her when she tries to be invisible I can't think of any times where he's responded to her talking so that supports this theory.
  20. The only problem with this is that whichever bridge they targeted more than others would be the one that Kal got put in, so either it's a self fulfilling prophecy (Kal was only put in the Bridge because they fired more on it, which they did because Kal would be put in it) or just an odd streak of bad luck for that particular bridge.
  21. No, it's because Kal was supposed to get punished so he was put in Bridge four in the hopes he'd just die and not be a danger. I suppose the Parshendi still could have set it up but when they see him Surgebinding they don't all go mad and try to kill him.
  22. That's an almost certain RAFO, there's plenty of speculation though
  23. Yay! Welcome King of nowhere! It's quite an exclusive group.
  24. Syl also said he wasn't ready for it and it'd be pretty complicated to use the exact right number of Lashings instinctively, too many and he'd just fly up again (Very quickly) too few and he pancakes. But I suppose it's a possibility.
  25. The interview database: http://www.theoryland.com/intvmain.php?i=593 Question 10 As Vindicator said metalminds just don't have enough investiture in them, if you filled one enough it might eventually be difficult to affect, compounders might be able to manage it.
