Purple Phoenix wandered back to the entrance hall, SoulSwitch in mouse form following him. He'd gained quite a bit of information about the others, apart from just their names, apparently his new underling had been keeping tabs on all Epics who were new in the city, he'd witnessed their fight last night and so knew a good bit about their capabilities, although he said he had no idea as to any of their weaknesses. Walking towards where Traveller and Funtimes were together he noticed that NightHound had also arrived, with someone new behind him wearing a collar. They seemed to struggle briefly as he tried to hug first his new help and then Funtimes. Purple Phoenix was about to go and assist them but then he saw the new one fire twin beams of energy into NightHounds hands, freeing them both. Pain. All the memories flooded him at once, the Epic tossing glowing balls of crackling energy everywhere, destroying the lab, incinerating his team and then finally throwing one towards a young man named Jeff Carlisle, a name he'd not used in a long time, only for his wife and co-leader of the project dive into the ball to save him. No, don't do this Phoenix, I know it hurts, but this one had nothing to do with it! His Voice cried, realizing what was happening. She's an Energy Epic just like him, she needs to die, they all need to die. He snarled back, grasping one of the pebbles in his hand so hard it nearly detonated. No, somethings wrong, something bad, I haven't felt this before. The Voice continued, sounding oddly muted. Purple Phoenix was about to throw the stone towards them, but his limbs felt off, his vision went black as the pain in his head peaked. It hurts! What's happening? I don't know, are we dying? "I am..." The pain peaked, his vision went completely, and he heard again his third voice. "I am Penumbra!" he yelled --------------------------------------------------------------------- SoulSwitch watched as Phoenix stopped at the sight of the newcomer shooting lances at Nighthound. Nothing particularly impressive. He thought to himself. Standard Energy constructs. Purple Phoenix seemed to struggle with something and was reaching for one of his explosive pieces of rubble when he stilled again, panic and rage warring in his eyes, then his voice boomed across the room, reaching those standing at the entrance together and nearly deafening Soulswitch. "I am Penumbra!" SoulSwitch watched in horror as his new masters shadow exploded. --------------------------------------------------------------------- His shadow exploded, forming into a horde of obsidian spikes, seeking other shadows to merge with and grow, they shrouded his body again obscuring him completely. The pebble in his hand was crushed, the explosion completely absorbed by the shadowy mass. The spikes formed into hands, grabbing rubble, signs, even some leftover bones, hurling the collection of items towards the object of his rage. The Energy Epics must die. The three thought as one.

Ok, now they're posting about Adelaide, which is the city I live in. This is definitely getting creepy.

Numbers definitely have personalities for me but I've never had colour association, that just seems really weird to me :S

Indeed, and his primary weakness is trust, whoever he trusts most will always betray him when he needs them most.

I think that's a good idea, I think in the future if anyone's doing anything that other characters would see they should post their plans here first so this doesn't happen.

Possible idea for the protagonist of What happened in DC/Europe/Mobius' plane of eternal eternity. Protagonist Protagonist: Has a rare prime invinicibility, the protagonist shield, anything which hits him will be just slightly less than lethal, people shooting at him have terrible aim and there will always be a healer passing by when he's injured.

I actually kind of have an Epic like that, Sentinel if you want to claim him, feel free to add some silent movement powers to him. Feel free to murder him and I don't doubt take control of his rats that you murder Might actually be good practise for LW resurrecting to his limits.

FoH was always my favourite of the series, it was when I really got into WoT instead of just casually reading it between releases.
