  1. 'it's raining men' for ToyMaker?
  2. If they revert back then they definitely won't be mistaken for Lightwards' zombies
  3. I feel like someone's describing my friends but getting their personalities all wrong. :S
  4. How could you think seven is annoying? Seven is hillarious.
  5. Done. (Although Kobold has already passed Peter so don't feel too bad about downvoting him ) I like Slaughterhouse, is he limited to people or could he use animals as well?
  6. Reaching the ground beneath the museum Penumbras wings collapsed back into him, forming into a shadowy armour. He turned to see the bird that had followed his descent alight behind him, and a moment later a man in nondescript clothing appeared, bowing to Penumbra. Who was this? He almost remembered, catching at the edges of the memory until he regained it fully. "SoulSwitch, I will have uses for you, but bear in mind I am not so lax as the one you talked to before." He said, fixing the Epic with his most menacing glare. "Of course sir." SoulSwitch replied in a welsh accent. "I could see right away that you were different, powerful." Of course he could, no one could deny the awe that they felt at witnessing the full might of Penumbras power, he might not be able to blanket an entire city in night like Nightwielder could but his powers were still formidable. Motioning SoulSwitch to follow him again, Penumbra strode off towards the nearest residence, lights shining through the window although it was still some hours before full dark. A tendril of darkness ripped the door off its hinges as he entered and the frightened family clustered together on the far side of the room, their dinner forgotten. "Can you take over people like you can animals?" He asked of his new minion. "As long as they're not an Epic I can, yes." "Perfect, take that one and start asking around, I want to know everything you can find out about what's happening in this city, I'll expect a full list of all the Epics present, what their capabilities are and where they are based. Go now." Penumbra ordered. SoulSwitch vanished from sight and one of the family members stood up and strode out the door, leaving the rest of them looking incredibly confused, a quick slice from the same tendril that had removed the door and all of them lay still. Penumbra sat down to finish their meal.
  7. On a different note, did we ever decide if Oregon still had power?
  8. Are they physically the same as humans though? Do they have organs, etc.? Trying to decide if powers that only work on non-living things would affect them.
  9. Did I say that? I meant... er... Austria, yes I'm from Austria. There is definitely not a Hemalurgic lab hidden in my house in Adelaide.
  10. With everyone saying adoption I keep thinking of those 'adopt a puppy' ads. Poor Ozymandias here has nowhere to live, no money and no family, he destroyed his house by causing it to crumble onto his family and then rusted all of his money. But you can help, with your donations, Ozymandias will be able to have a small city to rule over, and you can help this impoverished Epic slaughter dozens in a tyrannical rule. Adopt an Epic today.
  11. I just realized the one weak to clams must be Deathgales from Lucentia's POV
  12. http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/12274-question/page-30#entry165425
  13. Everything is Epics! My roommate walked past and said she wished she could understand her cat and voila! The Caterpreter was born.
  14. Ok, now I have 2 nearly 3 pages of Epic ideas. I'll stop soon, I promise! Just one more...
  15. Marsh survived, he has a bag of Atium and can stay alive using the same methods as TLR
  16. Bondsmiths 4 Dustbringers 13 Edgedancers 20
  17. I think the constant flood of rats everywhere in the city is going to get annoying pretty quickly for most of our Epics
  18. Hammelin strode into Oregon, cape flaring behind him, pipe held loosely between two fingers. He couldn't actually play it, he'd tried, but it was in theme so he kept it around. Behind him flowed a river of mice and rats, a flood of vermin to bury the city in. His first step in this new city was to make himself known, he raised the pipe to his lips, pretending to play a song that only his charges could hear and mentally commanded his army of pests to invade the city, leaving nothing alone. They would likely consume vasts amounts of food that the -soon-to-be-his- city would need to support it's citizens but Hammelin didn't worry about that.
  19. I posted up Hammelins entrance into the city, anyone with nothing to do feel free to track him down and murder him.
  20. https://docs.google.com/document/d/102JWlqBME1uJ8go6p4au5EToGmQC646uXP4skdYy4yU/edit New Doc for any post collaboration requirement.
  21. Greetings new Sharder! Welcome to the forums, and have an upvote! I don't think our admins would mind too much as long as you don't keep posting threads about it but you could check with them if you're interested, I know I always enjoy finding new authors, even if they're not exactly bestsellers yet Have a cookie! (Ignore the metallic spiky looking thing, that's just seasoning and don't let anyone tell you differently)
  22. Can I suggest: Synesthesia: Can turn sound into light and vice versa (each frequency of one is correlated to another) She was pretty creepy in my head when I imagined her.
  23. Yeah he uses the shadows as a shield, so it might look like he's intangible.
  24. Oh I noticed something in your post Twi when Nathan was reminiscing about shadow epics, Penumbra doesn't have an intangibility factor he's completely solid, not sure if that was just a reference to Nightwielder or a misunderstanding
  25. A disgruntled student and a former professor walk into a bar. The bar is promptly destroyed.
