  1. Well I think you made those a bit easy, it's obviously Flashpoint and Edgerunner respectively.
  2. Yeah so it depends how accurately they know her range. But yeah any two points on the circumference of the circle inscribed by her range would theoretically do the trick, but it's unlikely that she'd make appearances at such a specific distance straight off, still with enough data points it seems possible, though as you say some points off the island to either E or W would be incredibly useful.
  3. August last year, it's been in my sig since before the Pandas began peddling their lower-quality cookies.
  4. Not if the two circles are exactly twice the radius, then it's only at the very point of overlap that Regalia could be at.
  5. There are many developments from the Dark Alleys known only to a select few.
  6. I'd completely forgotten about those til you posted them again, that was fun I'd love to try something like that again. For example: How would one of your Epics react to waiting in line for an hour to see a midnight screening of the final Harry Potter movie only to discover that all seats were now taken?
  7. Unfortunately the Reckoners takes place outside the cosmere. The Dark Alley cakes can do precisely that, be sure to place an order at your local Dark Alley!
  8. Welcome to the 17th Shard! I'd advise against any cookies not prepared by an official Dark Alley representative, we were baking cookies long before the Pandas showed up with their inferior bamboo products. Be sure to check out the social groups subforum, whether you like Hemalurgy, waffles, wolves or Newcago there's a social group for you!
  9. Welcome to the 17th Shard home to the insane, the great, the mysterious and also to the inferior bakers known as the pandas. If you'd like a nice proper cookie you should stop by the Dark Alley in the social groups subforum, or to the courts of Newcago ruled by our sponsor Her Royal Highness Queen Elsa Steelheart.
  10. Hemalurgy's rate of success in bestowing allomancy? 100% Bamboos rate of success in bestowing allomancy? 0%
  11. Take not the cookies offered by the panda! Bamboo is a far inferior ingredient, and pandas far inferior bakers. Dark Alley cookies on the other hand are extremely high in essential nutrients and guaranteed to give you a spike of joy upon consumption.
  12. Well if you really want to be a mistborn then Dark Alley cookies are a much better way to get there, panda cookies just turn you into a panda, forever denying you the awesomeness of Allomancy.
  13. Partake not of the bamboo cookies, the addition of a woody pulp cannot in any circumstance be said to still constitute a true cookie. DA cookies on the other hand are high in essential nutrients such as Iron, Zinc and Ruin other things. Would you like a proper cookie?
  14. I don't think there's really anything that needs tweaking, depending upon how accurately they 'knew' Regalia's range. If they found two data point in opposite directions which were 10 miles apart (Supposing a 5 mile radius) then the base would be exactly at the midpoint, it's theoretically possible with just two data points if they know the radius accurately enough.
  15. Spoilers about very new books are the main thing to be concerned about, along with posting about any book in another series' subforum. You can put things in a spoiler box with:
  16. Strength-wise he's nothing to compare to the likes of Steelheart, Obliteration or Regalia but he could out-creep them three-to-one.
  17. Yeah his secondary was based off of Slaughterhouse but my idea was for it to work on a cellular level so it's pretty hard for him to do big changes with any speed. Still fleshing out the man beneath the Epic.
  18. I might actually not use Simon for Astoria, he was an interesting character and I wrote heaps of backstory and stuff for him but it might be a bit hard for him to fit into Astoria. So I'm thinking instead of: Bioterror: Primary- Metabolic manipulation, can manipulate the metabolism of any non-epic organism at a cellular level, capable of causing near instant death or a myriad of other effects in his target. Secondary-Personal cellular manipulation, capable of completely manipulating all of his bodies cells. Passive: Temporal regression, a form of regeneration however injured he becomes the flesh and blood will quickly fly back to his body, reconstituting his body.
  19. Pandas lack the ability to bake and thus any cookies they present would be of far inferior quality.
  20. Yes I sure am. I definitely don't have a problem. Did I mention that I don't have a problem? Because I don't. Now excuse me while I go eat, I just realized 3 days have passed.
  21. Ah right Yeah we're working on those now. I ended up throwing in some random backstory for an Epic from the MEE too. Because I won't be satisfied til I've completely fleshed out all 3 million Epics I've come up with
  22. Which subplot is this?
  23. People use it incorrectly? What a travesty of 'travesty'!
  24. A good healthy dose of Iron is absolutely necessary for human survival, putting grass into a cookie is just a travesty.
