  1. All we try to do is offer people delicious treats which are also extremely high in vital nutrients like Iron and Zinc. I've actually never watched an episode, there's an RP set in the Reckoners verse with a few fans and it kindof just spread and someone made pony representations of all the RP characters.
  2. Intangibility vs Healing is a pretty unwinable fight, although Nightwielder can trap his opponents and his PI completely defeats Profs force fields.
  3. Welcome to the forums! I hope you have fun here, there's lot's to do and discuss. Would you care to take a welcome-to-the-forums cookie?
  4. Welcome to the forums! I hope you have fun here, there's lots to do. Make sure to check out the social groups subforums, whether you like waffles, wolve or the wails of victims of Hemalurgic experiments cookies, there's something for everyone. Care for a welcome-to-the-forums cookie?
  5. Can someone Canonize this?
  6. New souls are created and those souls get the same 5 reincarnations too so there's no upper population limit. Once a tribe dies out the members' souls don't get reincarnated, they die truly along with their god. When losing memories no elements carry over, they could have a completely separate personality. "Anybody in one lifetime could turn from a villain into a hero"-Mrs. Voidus Other than that though the personality carries over but certain elements of their new life may alter that. (If a thief is reincarnated as a king poverty is no longer a driving factor of their personality, certain bodies contain naturally higher levels of hormones such as adrenaline which may cause a more stressful or aggressive personality)
  7. So you get a set of 5 Reincarnations where you keep your memories upon death, being reincarnated into a baby. After those five you lose all memory of those lives and start again from scratch. Due to certain things such as brain development even though babies have all memory of their past lives they still act more or less like babies, although they have an accelerated learning rate. So they'd act like a more mature child but for example just because they have the memories of an adult in a teenage body doesn't change the hormones going through their bodies so they'd still act quite a lot like teenagers. So at about age 21/22 they've reached their peak physical and mental growth so they'd act like their old selves again.
  8. During the time of the RP? We haven't settled on a time yet for the RP to take place, it could take place at the beginning with a few thousand tribes across the three continents or it could occur later when each continent's down to the last 10 or so. Eventually there's only 3 left on each continent and they form alliances and wage inter-continental warfare.
  9. Can we make her Readers' mother and she comes to the Dalles to beat her son for misusing his powers when they were meant to be used for recommending great books to people?
  10. I'm 6'5 and I still get that
  11. Lurker of the Dark Alley? Or forum Lurker?
  12. Distinguished leaders of the Alleys I would like to raise a certain issue with you all, sales have dropped recently due to an influx of baffling and inferior competition in the cookie market. The Pandas have begun advertising their own 'bamboo cookies' in the Introduction threads and taking valuable souls customers. I would like to convene an emergency meeting of the Alleys to discuss this problem.
  13. That's a fair point. I just realized that Nightwielder should definitely be up there too, he blanketed an entire city in darkness, has offensive capabilities as well as a pretty perfect PI.
  14. The charging is the problem though, Steelheart and Regalia can both producing city-wide effects instantaneously although Steelhearts is far less damaging than the others' but one of his energy blasts disintegrated most of a building so I think in the time that Obliteration was charging that Steelheart could level a large portion of a city too.
  15. I think it's a sliding scale, though nothing on Obliterations level. Fireballs would be perfectly reasonable though.
  16. I don't even remember that quote I wouldn't be surprised if he did, Steelheart and Prof are in a league of their own, by far the two most powerful Epics in the Fractured States, with Regalia and Obliteration coming in a distant third and fourth.
  17. Raisinets? Wow, I had no idea just how much Lightwards has been corrupted by Calamity. It would be largely up to the players to choose something appropriate I think, only 9 of the tribes survive the global war, banding into three alliances, one on each continent. So they're pretty well defined in magic but the others haven't really been defined at all. It's mostly elemental stuff that's planned so far but I think it's pretty open to whatever. I'll get Mrs. Voidus to post some more info in the morning, unlike me she's not accustomed to staying up til 5am talking to you guys
  18. <Is absolutely jealous of you both getting a job and having that job in a library. But then again you gave the world Funtimes so all is forgiven
  19. It doesn't get easier to pick even if you've read them all I like them all for different reasons: Elantris because it was my first and the beginning of something amazing. Warbreaker because it's characters made me laugh and cry in equal measure. Mistborn because it's setting was beautiful. If a bit monotonous in Breeze's view. Stormlight because of it's scale and writing.
  20. Well we know virtually nothing about it and I can't believe that no one's tried to poison him yet so I suspect there's at least a bit more to it than we know. While aging and possibly even cancer may eventually claim even Epics like Steelheart that's not really the same as asphyxiation. Both aging and cancer are caused by internal errors in cell duplication resulting in mutations which eventually accumulate to damaging effect. Asphyxiation is rather more sudden and more importantly is still external, if Steelhearts invulnerability extended to the cellular level it may even be impossible to starve or asphyxiate him. In fact I believe it's even mentioned that Epics age slower so they may even have an in-built resistance to that.
  21. Oh just on a completely non-RP related topic (Like 90% of what we discuss ): Mrs. Voidus has been working on writing an Epic fantasy too and I told her about Seonids idea of making an RP in the world of the series and she really liked it so hopefully we might start something like that if there's interest and time (I know a lot of us are already in numerous RPs) So the setting is that theres a world with 3 continents which are separated from each other and there are hundreds of tribal communities on each continent. Each tribe worships their own god and their god grants magic abilities related to their divinity to the tribe that worships them. The world is in a constant state of war as each tribe tries to show their supremacy over the others. Players could control either individuals within a tribe or could RP as a tribes leader and so dictate the entire tribes actions. If there's enough interest Mrs. Voidus should be able to post more worldbuilding.
  22. Regalia didn't have any form of Prime Invincibility though.
  23. I'm not entirely sure but I think that writing Nighthound ships is classified as an international crime against humanity.
  24. I think that with Steelheart 'impenetrable skin' might be a bit of an oversimplification, otherwise I seriously doubt he'd be known as the strongest Epic in the Fractured states. I think it's more like he has an immutable body, his bodies cells unable to be changed by outside forces in any way. If there was a way to kill Steelheart outside of his weakness I think David would have found and suggested it at some point no matter how difficult.
