I don't think so, there's a potential meetup between characters still in the works but a short timeskip probably works for the better on that front. Well I have been known to go to sleep at 7AM our time so I'm pretty nocturnal but not as a general rule. Most of us seem to actually like sunlight or something. (Weirdos)

That's just from the breaking of the Oathpact to tWoK, the Shattering would have been much, much earlier than that, but yeah he hasn't lived all those years, as you said he can skip forwards in time.

I think Rashek just used the Well directly rather than using Lerasium, don't remember if we ever got confirmation on that or not. He's not as old as he should be but he's still older than normal people live.

I think we're still using somewhat higher and non-canonical Epic numbers for the RP, since we started by assuming Newcago was a representative population which meant that High Epics were something like 1/100,000 and Epics were 1/1000 I think. Then Brandon went and canonized way lower numbers. EDIT: Missed by a factor of ten on both counts, whoops.

That was my thinking too, someone with just one spike would be even less likely to have an Allomancer (Since the power will have decayed a bit) but someone with two spikes is more likely to have an Allomancer and it's more likely that Allomancer would be a Mistborn. It's just speculation really and not sure how the Ruin aspect of Hemalurgy would play into it. (Random (likely incorrect) theory: This is how feruchemy came about, genetic mixing of Ruinous Hemalurgy with Preservations power of Allomancy ) but that's how I thought it would work too.

He's not particularly powerful (He's a High Epic but not on Steelhearts level or anything) it's more just his general character. And just everything he does and says. He's a healer with enhanced physical capabilities who can also create mind-controlled minions and gift them powers. And he currently owns three female Epics.

Yeah quite a few Sharders are aussies, makes me happy to live here. (Though I still want to swap weather with pretty much any other country) Actually a country-wide RP could be quite interesting, with teleporters acting as a main focus and an important resource for waging war on other cities. Hmmmmm...

Two siblings, Jäger is their last name. Nighthound is an Epic so creepy and horrible that every player started wishing for his death enough that it basically became a meme. Lucentia is an Epic who complains so much that it's also become a meme. Also she's pretty horrible too. They're both Edge's characters.

In the books it's mentioned that it was completely destroyed by turf wars so it seemed like a good place. The first thread was originally just called 'What happened in Oregon' but once we added more cities we thought that might get confusing so it's Portland now. I have cousins in perth, I can destroy their house too

Well I suppose I could set it in SA and blow up my own house I'll need to talk to Twi at least and get some input from everyone before anything gets decided, the RP did start as a way of destroying Oregon after all so moving to another country would be a pretty big deal. EDIT: Also, side note try to edit a post to add more stuff if no one's replied after you to avoid double posting, it's not a huge deal but just keeps the threads neater.

It's slowed down quite a bit recently but yeah it's always been pretty slow. Something I've been thinking of though is adding another thread that's timed in some way (1 game day = 1 week say) for some faster pace RP, probably need to set it in another state/country though.

Not really, we just kind of try to keep the threads roughly synchronized in case we get any characters crossing cities but yeah it's just kind of collectively decided.

Ah, I probably should have mentioned that it's the afternoon at the moment in Salem So you'd have to either wait for a game day to pass before making an appearance or delay his dream-scaring for a while. Sorry about that.

Yeah keep in mind that it's the Investiture as a whole that's passed down, not specific abilities. Tineyes aren't more likely to have tineye children than any other Allomancer so I think having two spike would just mean your child would be slightly more likely to be an Allomancer of some kind, not that they'd have two powers.

Not really, just make sure you ask someone before you do anything with their character, other than that I think Twi made a page with some general guidelines so yeah go for it. EDIT: Yes she did and here it is.

Well Soulcaster is the cities ruler, though he leaves most of the work to other people. He's an insanely overpowered Astral projector who can cause the consciousness of anyone, human or Epic to leave their body and travel to the Astral plane, a realm he has full control over. He uses this power to allow Epics and sometimes normal people to have fights to the death with each other, and then wake up having suffered no real damage, most of Salem revolves around the arena matches but there's a few characters who aren't participating in them starting their own storyline though that's been quiet for a little bit now so a new character might be a good way to jumpstart things again with any luck. If you want to participate in an arena battle then I'm happy to create and RP as an opponent, otherwise there are a few players who have their characters that participate. If you'd rather something more story-oriented than just flat out fighting then I'd suggest talking to someone who has a character available to meet up which is I think: Me (Meliability), Quiver(Sentry), Venture Mistborn(Countdown), RippleGlyf(Heartsleeve) and I think Mckeedee123 has someone free too. I was hoping we could put our own little spin on it a bit. -In Portland Red made some weird creepy references and everyone wants Nighthound to die. -A new pony was made and it's awesometastic -Also here is a collection of all the pugs that were posted this week.

I think that was Preservation who originally wrote them and the Ruin distorted them to suit his needs where possible.
