  1. Not really, he definitely used to be just a person, saying much would delve into spoilers from the liar of partinel draft. Brandon doesn't encourage people to read it but it's available on his website somewhere I think.
  2. Not unless it was a separate power from the transmutation. Yes but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a very good understanding of physics and chemistry since most elements not on the periodic table aren't on there for a reason, they're highly unstable and radioactive so anything made of them will almost instantly decay and irradiate anyone near it.
  3. Well with a mental fortitude spike as well that'd be pretty difficult. And we also don't know how something like allomantic copper would interact with it.
  4. A mage and a blacksmith? Not the most common of breeds but then the Dunmer did tend to mix physical and magical talents. Still, the reaction at least told Aranea that the Dunmer wasn't working with the spy. "Not sure." She replied before raising her voice. "Why don't you stop hiding so we can chat?" She kept her hand close to her dagger just in case, she wasn't exactly equipped for an open battle, but she was a skilled mage, a master of the arts of destruction magic. She didn't need weapons to kill.
  5. I figure if he's a master thief and a Nightingale to boot he's probably perceptive enough to notice her looking at him for that moment.
  6. Aranea started in surprise. Assistance? A wandering adventurer who happened to be a worshipper of Azura and was devout enough to want to help her shrine? Well he was a fellow Dunmer, it wouldn't be impossible, and he showed no hostility to her whatsoever. Just then something caught at the edges of her vision, a faint warping in the air. A ring on one of her fingers had been given an enchantment for detecting the presence of others, a necessity in her previous line of work and perhaps even more useful now. Her regular vision couldn't pick up anything and even her sharp ears hadn't picked up the sound of anyone. That meant illusion magic, and the only people who had any reason to resort to that while sneaking up on her... Her gaze flicked back to the Dunmer who seemed unaware of the other presence. Was he part of the trap? The bait to lure her in and distract her? But why move into her field of vision? A Morag Tong assassin would have to know she could detect them. She kept her posture still, not moving to the attack though her instincts urged her to pull her dagger free and attack them both. But she didn't kill without reason, until she was sure it was best to simply watch. "Assistance?" She replied, attempting to adopt a thoughtful tone. "Azura's blessings upon such helpful travellers. I must admit that I am not accustomed to stonework, do you have any experience as a craftsman yourself? I could not turn away skilled hands. I don't have much to offer other than what food I can track or catch." Holding up the freshly caught salmon she examined the Dunmer further, his build wasn't exactly that of an assassin, one couldn't always tell by such things but this looked more like the sturdy build of a warrior than the lithe build of a rogue.
  7. She's not the type just to murder people without provocation, being invisible isn't going to be in his favor but she tends to react rather than act so she'd wait for him to do something before calling him out. Whether that was attacking or retreating.
  8. We have a lot of conflicting WoB on what would happen if you burned a spike, but given when they occurred I'd say it's unlikely that TLR did this. Also we know that there is a way specifically to use feruchemy to enhance Allomancy, this wouldn't fulfill that.
  9. Fine with me, though Aranea is a former assassin so she's not easy to sneak up on, she would be pretty likely to have a ring or something with detect life on it.
  10. Not in my case sadly, he passed away a few years ago.
  11. First and middle name of my childhood friend.
  12. That's around the time we started as an official group but it really started ages ago with a list Kurk made here. And in fact, looking at that list it was right after it was made that the cookies started, guess I forgot that.
  13. Jarrad Thomas waved goodbye to his parents, pushing the trolley with his trunk on on up onto the train before reaching up to his right eye, he pulled out the contact he wore while in the muggle world which disguised his real eyes color. It would have been easy enough to get one the same color as the other eye but he preferred it like this, he just thought it looked cooler this way. He was contemplating whether or not he could get away with claiming to be a half vampire when he finally found a free compartment, only one other person was inside, looking out at the hallway expectantly. Jarrad smiled at the obviously older student and gestured at the spare seat in his compartment. "Do you mind if I..." He trailed off questioningly.
  14. It is actually something I've thought about, what if you alloyed Lerasium with a non-allomantic metal? What would happen? Could we finally get silvereyes?
  15. Well it's mine so... no, not really I am working on a list though and it's giving out the best advice it can, unfortunately sentient stairs have limited experience in studying. I'm working on a student character now though since roleplaying with just myself would be a bit boring Jarrad Thomas Status: Half-blood House: Unknown yet Appearance: Tall, dark-skinned and as his mother puts it 'cuddly', he has short brown hair, a rounded face and one hazel eye while his other is a dark red, his right eye was lost when his very first spell (A summoning charm) pulled a lego brick right into his face, it has been replaced with a magical eye though his parents refused his request for one with x-ray vision like Moodys. Other: Interested in both technology and magic he is especially interested in the field of spellcrafting, with a focus on charms. He has yet to invent a working spell since his parents forbade him from experimenting but hopes to find help at Hogwarts for this interest.
  16. New Bioterror post up, wherein everyone is treated to an image they really didn't want to think about. Sorrynotsorry.
  17. Fixed. *edit* Er... double fixed? This is true.
  18. Bioterror explored his new quarters, he'd been assigned to a large house, the front double doors opened wide enough to accommodate his current size. He could always just alter himself to fit through any door but it was annoying to have to go through that so often and he inevitably missed a vertebrae or something when he was shifting everything back which led to a host of other problems. No, this way was better. The servants in Astoria had also impressed him, his powers didn't lend themselves well to keeping people in line, he tended to just accidentally murder everyone who annoyed him, having another Epic train the citizens for him was a big improvement. He hadn't needed to murder anyone on his way here. Well except for that one girl but that was for a practical reason, not out of annoyance. Speaking of which... He'd left most of the skeleton as a large calacium deposit on his back but that was growing rather uncomfortable, he needed to weigh the options here to work out what to do with all that biomass. Wings? He'd used them before and they did look rather impressive, but to actually gain the ability to fly they needed to be ridiculously large and he'd needed to alter the rest of his body too. Horns? A bit cliche and they didn't really add that much. Perhaps a tail? An extra limb was always useful and it wouldn't inhibit his movements much. He might even add in some decorative wings later, go full demon. It wasn't exactly the most original idea but it would at least let everyone know exactly what he was. For now he settled on a tale, beginning the task of turning the hulk of minerals into specific bones, altering his muscles so they attached properly and redistributing his weight so he didn't overbalance. A reptilian patch of scales began to form on his lower back before being pushed out as new bones slid into place with a disconcerting cracking sound. Before long a 5 foot long tale protruded behind him, thick with muscle. He played with the color of the scales a bit before he found a pattern he liked and set to work altering his legs to have the necessary muscle to accommodate his newest limb. His pants were obliterated in the process but he could find new ones to fit. The important areas were all covered and besides, if an Epic couldn't walk around without pants on in his own home then where could he?
  19. Since we existed as a social group I think.
  20. Aranea threw the fish into the air, catching it as it fell. She'd only managed to catch a couple of salmon this morning but it would do for the days meals with the bread and cheese she already carried. Building close to the lake had been a choice she'd made mostly due to the way the lake reflected the twilight sky, reminding her always of her mistresses dual nature. But she was also glad she'd made the choice for practical reasons. Having a source of both food and water nearby meant she didn't need to travel very far, she only needed to stop into towns on occasion to that which she couldn't forage for herself. This way she could dedicate herself to her work. It was on her way back, the salmon tied together and held by one hand that she saw another figure, humanoid. One hand lowered suspiciously to her waist where she kept her dagger, it was rare that she saw people wandering the wilderness like this, but not unheard of. When she noticed that the figure was another dunmer her suspicion went up a few notches. She had not exactly left Morrowind on good terms with the Morag Tong. She approached openly, sneaking or running would not help her against an assassin and the fact that she'd seen them at all went a long way towards allaying her fears. "Greetings traveller. What brings you to Azuras shrine?" She asked as she stepped up to the man, seizing him up with her gaze.
  21. Yeah that would be my fault I used to hand out cookies to people and then someone decided to link that with my being the inaugural member of the 'people to avoid in dark alleys' list and suspect that they had secret spikes in them.
  22. Well if anyone's an Azura worshipper they can obviously meet Aranea at the shrine, other than that there's a few dungeons around where its being built if there are any explorers, I think one of the Galdur brothers is there though I don't know what point in the timeline that all happens. Or if they're on their way to climb the throat of the world.
  23. Aranea finished her dawn worship, praying to Azura once again to bless this shrine. The people of Skyrim did not worship Azura as they should, there hadn't been a single shrine or temple here when she'd fled from Morrowind. So she'd toiled for months, purchasing fine stone and learning how to carve it, dedicating an hour every dawn and dusk to her prayers. She was nearly finished now, the basic shape of the Queen of the night sky was already formed, only the finer details were left now. She let the visions she occasionally felt during her prayers guide her hands, forming the correct image with her tools. The shape of her mistress taking fuller form from her devotion. "I hope you will be pleased." Aranea said as she began the days carving.
  24. I just realized that Aranea is the name of Azuras priestess in Skyrim Guess I'm her distant ancestor or something.
  25. Jumping up and screaming?
