  1. I'd say those could pretty easily destroy a building
  2. So basically the Gauss gun?
  3. Are there any canonically? Closest thing I can think of is the gauss gun.
  4. Hmmm... *Creates legion of sparkly and flirty Epics*
  5. So long as we don't tell her that, or she'll just go around insisting every female Epic date her so she can cure them.
  6. Yeah I find it questionable that he'd be able to do all of that uninterrupted. Not necessarily that he'd be beaten but someone would have reacted before then, the whole fighting off the missiles thing would have taken like a minute at least and then the speech too, I find it a bit unlikely that no one else would have intervened before then.
  7. Was about to mention this but yeah that's my understanding. Other than that it's not necessarily that she's that much more powerful she just instinctively understands and uses allomancy better. I imagine that that too is to do with the mists, a fractional version of the way holding a whole Shard expands your mind, the mists just made her understand Allomancy better.
  8. Scribbler post up, where a small amount of PTSD means that Lucy is somewhat less likely to go on an Epic murdering spree right now. So that's... good? I guess. Scribblers currently occupied which is for the best I suppose, otherwise she might have had to go full Epic on both of them Which would either end with dead Scribbler or fully corrupted Scribbler.
  9. Lucy scrawled along the ground, around doorways and windows and anywhere else that might be helpful. Writing usually helped her calm down but right now all it did was remind her about what she'd been forced to do all night by Arsenal. Arsenal. Bloody Slontze, lectures all of us for stupid things like changing his socks and then he goes and launches a million bloody missiles right into town. Tell me where the city guidelines state that? A bright flashing interrupted her mental diatribe, a swarm of different colors invaded the room. She instantly went on the defensive, preparing several of her tattoos as well as some of the words she'd already scrawled around the room, lines of ink racing accross the room to the swirl of colors ready to bind or destroy whatever had caused it. At its center stood an Epic, she seemed familiar, one of the Epics from yesterday? Yes, the teleporter Autumn had gone with. She still her ink, holding only the bindings ready as the others slinked back to their original positions. If Autumn had trusted her then she probably wasn't here to hurt anyone. Then again that morning she would have said Arsenal wasn't trying to hurt anyone, now he was trying to start Armageddon. Doctor Game seemed to recognize her two and the two briefly exchanged some information before she trailed off, vanishing again. A sudden pressure at her back informed her as to where the teleporter had gone, her arms were soon slung around Lucys waist in a hug. “I don’t think we’ve been introduced. I’m Shiny Sparkle and an adorable little girl like you really shouldn’t be alone in this kind of crisis.” The sudden intimacy overwhelmed her a bit, a spiral of confusion hitting her. Her immediate response was repulsion, an instinctive reaction to the physical touch of another person. No, she's a woman, it's not like then, not like then at all. This was followed by a surge of embarrassment. What kind of Epic just came up and hugged people? A faint blush hit her cheeks as she managed to stammer out a reply. "I- I'm not alone and you- I, I mean I'm not a little girl, I'm from the city guard and you're not allowed to- you can't just hug people like that!" She wanted to cover her face with ink and never be seen again. She was in the city guard, as mature as any of them, she was not some little girl to get all flustered just because someone hugged her. But seriously what kind of an Epic was this? Strangely she felt herself being calmer than before, the forceful anger that had been driving her subsiding, not gone but not as strong as it had been before. Was she an emotional manipulator of some kind? Make Lucy feel embarrassed and calming her down? Surely Autumn wouldn't let someone like that just roam the city unsupervised, mental manipulation Epics were some of the most dangerous of all.
  10. Cracking a skull doesn't and shattering it only happened when Vin Durala-burned pewter. Koloss swords are probably within bounds to be 2-3 times human strength.
  11. That's setting a bad precedent, has anyone ever told you about my file for Epic characters in the Reckoners RP? Still I might do a student too. Could be interesting. We might have to think about things like timetables soon, any ideas what we'll do for things like that?
  12. Are we keeping our actions public or through PM?
  13. It can't ask follow up questions but it can just change back to what it's supposed to be if you don't convince it enough. You have to know when the last battle actually was in order to change when it thinks it was. Like Shai has to know what a type of rock is and where it was mined in order to change it into something from somewhere else, she can't just say 'you were a piece of iron mined from here.' or it won't hold.
  14. That's the problem though, you have to know the history of an object to stamp it, simply saying 'it broke x time ago' might not be enough and even if it is you'd have to change it every battle to reflect the new x.
  15. I just realized it's probably going to be a while til I can write anything if I'm a portrait. Unless anyone else wants to write a character already at Hogwarts?
  16. Might do but then it probably wouldn't last as long. We really don't know enough about them to say for sure.
  17. For knowing awesome RWBY quotes!
  18. I'm guessing its just an approximation, so a burn gives you an amount of strength roughly equal to a normal humans strength so for most people this doubles their strength. For Vin it's more like 3x.
  19. Yeah, at a stretch he could reach a few nearby cities but that's about it. He also doesn't really care about world domination, he just wants Epics to know where to find him so he isn't bored. For the most part yeah, though I'm always open to input. He's also largely not going to be a viewpoint character.
  20. I just love all of their relationships but Ruby and Weiss are probably my favorites. "And I just wanted her to stop yelling at me and-" "YOU!" *Jumps into Yangs arms* "Oh my god it's happening again!"
  21. If you haven't read Mistborn Secret History yet I highly recommend it. It is awesome.
  22. On soldiers using pre-prepared stamps, I'm not sure how well that would work since anything new that happens to and breaks the sword might need to be reflected in the stamp to correct it. eg. 'During this battle the sword was not damaged'
  23. Glinda Goodwitch. It is a pretty handy ability to have Best line. "Yeah!" *High fives* Also: "And you'll be like 'Wow! That Ruby girl is really, really, really coool....... and I wanna be her friend.'"
  24. As someone with intermittent depressive episodes I can confidently say that this comic is awesome. Although personally I find that a book and ice cream really help a nest. Sorry you have to go through it Mistrunner, I can only second these suggestions and I really can't stress firmly enough that you need to talk to your gp about working out a mental health plan and seeing someone. Even if you don't necessarily get a lot out of the talking and stuff they can give you exercises that will help.
  25. I highly recommend reading Mistborn Secret History for lots of tidbits on the cognitive realm.
