  1. Reckoner would be able to take them out pretty easily then since they have a resurrection Epic on hand
  2. My local coles at least and I'm pretty sure the woolies stocks them too. Though personally I prefer Mrs. Voidus' brownies. They are awesome.
  3. Depends which country it's in. It's not unlike a lot of prisons that exist around the world. But the correct thing to do in that situation is to argue that they should be given a trial, not to immediately break them out, become a criminal yourself, assault a bunch of people (Realistically a lot of whom would have then died) and go on the run. Caps position is far more flimsy, just trust that these guys with world-ending powers will always do what is right and lawful? Despite the fact that they continually don't. If you just say that they should be given limitless free reign and no accountability then how are they any better than the people they fight? Sure their morals might line up with yours more but that's not a reason, after all Hydra got a bunch of people who agreed with their morals, didn't make them the good guys.
  4. Oh also key point in any survival plan, make sure that once you have found safety there is noise at all times, no silence can last more than half a second. If there's no silence then there's no zombie jump scares when they break into the house. Therefore we will never be attacked unless this zombie apocalypse has poor editing and we just jump straight into already being attacked.
  5. Even so, when people lose their memories they don't suddenly become a different person. Yes there's some leeway to take into account, once judged by a trained psychologist he might be recommended for psychiatric help rather than jail but he's still insanely dangerous and whether you think they're the same person or different people you still need to deal with the person who has gone around murdering people. We have legal procedures for people with extenuating psychological circumstances, you don't get to just break someone out of prison because you personally disagree with how it's happened so far.
  6. Well the main difficulty is knowledge, even if you did know about Hemalurgy (Which almost no one does), were willing to do so (Which is unlikely for most worldhoppers we know of) and found a suitable candidate, you'd have to actually know where to stab them and with what. That kind of knowledge renders it pretty much impossible to use. Sure a Worldhopper might have figured out the basics if they worldhopped to Scadrial and saw an Inquisitor but it'd be nigh impossible to actually use it in a meaningful way and even if you could it wouldn't be something you'd spread around. Given the limited activity we've seen from worldhoppers it'd also be pretty difficult to tell if most of them were using Hemalurgy in any way and no one else could possibly provide the intent.
  7. That's weird, I think pretty much every supermarket I've been to has them.
  8. Because it was needed to carry out Preservations ultimate plan to deprive Ruin of the Atium cache.
  9. Wait what? I had brownies for breakfast?
  10. I know several ways but I wouldn't describe any of them as easy. Most involve access to a lab.
  11. It is also an awesome word to play in scrabble. Though it requires a lot of forethought
  12. Sesquipedalian is still one of my favourite long words.
  13. Nothing jumps out immediately as something I'd want to change and most of it is awesome Also: " let's talk detective stuff." is a line so great I now insist it become a catchphrase and also become a mandatory sentence in every crime drama ever. I'll come up with an appropriate opponent and arena for him once the matches resume.
  14. Not justified but it's certainly understandable, much like caps decision to protect Bucky. It's illegal, he had no logical grounds for doing so, he nearly murdered a bunch of his friends but he acted based on an understandable emotion of wanting to protect a friend. Also I really don't get the brainwashed defense. This wasn't a supernatural body takeover or scarlet witch producing visions, this was solely through psychological manipulation. Yeah it's understandable that it worked but it's not as simple as not being in control, he technically did those things entirely of his own will. Yes his will was manipulated but that doesn't make it excusable. Also Bucky was a dangerous wanted fugitive who repeatedly resisted arrest, has proven he can escape from jail and is a mass murderer, whatever the circumstances behind that may be. Lethal force is kinda the only way to actually make sure you do stop him.
  15. Yeah black holes are somewhat problematic, either they're not actually that much of an issue if you don't actually touch them or they actually have pulling force enough to counter the gravity of the earth in which case it's also going to throw the entire planets orbit out of whack.
  16. Drakus Blod looked out at the scurrying elves as they herded a small group of flying blue creatures through the corridors. "Oy uglies! Whas iss youse doin with de little fairies" He slurred out. "Yeah de fairies is fur de trees at chrismas, issnot chrismas yet is it?" His companion, Wiliam Kinslayer agreed. The houselves ignored the pair and continued about their task, they were subservient to the living residents of the castle but evidently portraits didn't count in that group. "UNgrateful lot they is." Drakus mumbled as the pair stumbled past a group of nuns and then ran through the portrait of a field of lowers in the middle of being pollinated by bees. "Yeah yeah, ungraceful fer sure." William said, half paying attention. "You reckon there's any more of that mead left on the um... where was the mead again?" The two continued their excessively loud conversation as they headed back to their original portraits, holidays were over after all and the last time they'd caused trouble at the opening feast they'd been stuffed into storage for a week.
  17. Lucy Lockser was beginning to realize this was almost certainly not a wartime photographer. It may have been the enthusiasm, it may have been the lack of any obvious elements of the war that would be in the shot, or it may have been Shiny Sparkle posing her like some kind of playboy model before whispering advice in her ear. She sent a pleading look, first at her new squid who had slyly drifted outside of the of the shot and when that received only a blank stare she directed one at doctor Game who smiled back in an encouraging but sympathetic way. I guess if he still thinks it's a good idea? "Be bold! Be confident! Push out your chest and show us your true self. There’s no need to be embarrassed or hold anything back, we’ll always accept you, so just show us what you can do.” Shiny finished while sticking to her back. We’ll always accept you? That's impossible you don't even know me. You don't know what I've done. She couldn't accept something like that, not even when Autumn said something similar. But then Autumn was a counselor, it was basically her job to say stuff like that. So why was this new Epic, someone who Lucy barely knew able to say something so honestly? Why would she bother? What kind of motivations did she have? So just show us what you can do. Show them what she could do? The thought terrified her, but under the combination of the warm and safe smile of doctor Game, the insane levels of enthusiasm from Lyla and the insistent encouragement from Shiny she managed. She stretched her power out thinly, causing a few of the words inked onto her skin to begin to peel off, drifting around her arms like the tendrils of some vine seeking sunlight. "Like this?" She asked, actualizing a few of the words and causing a pair of small knives to appear in each hand. A few of the more decorative lines of ink attached themselves to the hilt and with a burst of concentration she managed to actually lift the blades up with the ink. It took a bit of focus to move other objects along with the ink, and she had to make sure to apply pressure properly or the ink would slip off. But, well it did feel kind of cool to pose like some kind of superhero from one of those old comic books a couple of people still kept.
  18. Also known as: The Voidus method of making yourself scared of absolutely everything forever.
  19. Yeah a team composed of a few different orders could do some damage, but since they'd be a couple hundred to one I'd say that they'd run out of Stormlight before the Koloss ran out... well the Koloss don't really run out of things
  20. This, you're using Preservation to power compounding so it all still comes from a Shard.
  21. Well the problem is more that the only way you could have that much Investiture is to hold the majority of a Shards power. You could get an insanely large amount from a bunch of different Shards I guess and you might not ascend but it'd be pretty difficult.
  22. My main problem is that realistically Cap and Bucky just murdered a whole lot of people, they didn't just endanger them. The movie plays it off like as long as you only punch or kick people it's impossible to kill them but we see Cap kick guys clear across the room with the same strength he uses to stop flying cars and helicopters, that would at the very least rupture some organs and cause them to need intensive care, at worst they probably just straight up murdered most of the cops sent after them. That's not even getting into the ones they punch in the head, I mean normal strength people can accidentally kill someone by punching them in the head, they even show later on that Bucky punching Howard is what killed him, but all those cops he punches?
  23. There's also the problem that as far as we know Lashing only affects your gravitational connection to the planet, not all of your gravity, so the planet wouldn't actually move in any way. Also yeah you'd pretty much need to absorb an entire Shard to Lash it.
