    On my re-read, I've just finished Bands of Mourning. Although it's a direct continuation of Era 1, Era 2 is such an outstanding feat of keeping the same magic and lore yet further advancing the mechanics of the metals and the world. I should have clicked earlier, it would have made much more sense when it dropped that when it was revealed that the quote Wax heard at the end of the Epilogue was We knew that Brandon had other plans for that character but he's becoming a deity himself.

    Still dancing with Days Gone. Think I've got the mechanics of crafting, riding and general story terms down. I've deal with a few Hordes but I know I'm going to have to plan an attack on one and I'm more of a all guns blazing type of guy! I seen the Sawmill and that horde terrifies me.

    I posted in the Hugs thread saying I had the most stressful week. I think things are incredibly overwhelming these days HOWEVER I managed to read a good book, finish it and come on here to chat to you guys which makes it that little better. I know we are only an Internet forum but thanks for sticking out for everyone here. This is family in times like these.

    I'm going to be starting my ever Wheel of Time read through, I've currently got books 1-6 and (if I manage to like these books) will purchase the rest at a later date. My question is: Any tips about this? Would you suggest buying the companion book? Reading New Spring first? Is there even a slog or is it just an information dump for 3 books? I've got the remaining books from Stormlight Archive to finish for my full Cosmere re-read so hopefully start my next adventure shortly

    I'm excited to know more information about this. What mediums is it being brought out on? Graphic Novel and TV? At the same time, that'd be a weird choice to have them out between a short period of time.

    What better way to train fighters than the very machines they will be using? It's like doing driving lessons, why give them the car to drive if they haven't been taught yet? To learn, exactly!

    I've always found the dynamic being Ruin and Preservation interesting.

    Era 2 looks to be an easier adaptation than Era 1 due to its setting. If the Cosmere was made into live action then that would take a lot of preparation and money.

    They keep talking about Trell in Mistborn Era 2 and I don't think Odium can be on 2 different planets at once. One on Scadrial and one on Roshar. Someone named Trell shows up in White Sand Volume 2, also. Possible Worldhopper?

    The book Wayne is reading during the epilogue. "It's a pretty good book," Wayne said , flipping a page. "You should try it. It's about bunnies. They talk. Damnedest thing ever." Might be completely wrong but it could be a nod to the classic Watership Down book.
