  1. I posted on reddit too but I'm not sure myself. Maybe a bead of duralumin or lerasium?
  2. I've already mentioned in the thread that I do not think the story benefits from a multiverse. I really do not think that there is one but it's a great what-if concept.
  3. New mass market paperbacks of Mistborn Era 1 have appeared on Amazon UK to be released later this year Listings and dates: The Final Empire - 24th September 2019 The Well of Ascension - 29th October 2019 The Hero of Ages - 26th November 2019
  4. If a multiverse does exist, we could potentially see a universe where Spensa meets Vin.
  5. That's a lot of time spent remembering!
  6. The Last Watch was a great 2 hour documentary about this. I'm glad they made it more about the cast and crew. You can really see the hard work and emotion that went into this series as a whole.
  7. Still amazes me that we managed to see a movie with Cap wielding Mjolnir, Spider-Man clinging onto Valkyrie and Pegasus and a Rescue and Iron Man battle scene. My younger self would explode at such imagination!
  8. Passing along quite nicely with Era 2 as I've finished Shadows of Self, onto Bands of Mourning then quickly into Secret History. Then it's finally time to start the Stormlight Archive re-read! I'm wanting to move along nicely because I'll be doing Wheel of Time after these!
  9. Sazed mentioned in one of the books about how he would spend so long listening to old Keepers as a way to preserve information when they passed. Can imagine a classroom of young Keepers listening to such boring lectures in order to keep this information.
  10. Saying shakadolin out loud reminded me of this scene from Ace Ventura:
  11. This would be a great "what-if?" thread. I think everything exists in a multi-verse but the story would not benefit from having this at all. There are already 3 realms to deal with but I guess it would be fun to think about what happened if Kelsier did become the next ruler or if Raoden wasn't taken by the Reod
  12. Slowly working my way up the ranks, @Lunamor! Yeah, that was also a punch in the stomach. I'm starting my Stormlight reread after Bands of Mourning and can already feel my heart tensing up!
  13. Whilst not in the same vein, I always recommend the Earthsea series by Ursula Le Guin. They are such short stories yet the world building, the lore, the magic, the characters are top notch and a high ranker amongst the fantasy world.
  14. Just finished Mistborn Era 2 and when Wax finds out that was a total gut-wrench, he'd worked so hard to rid himself of that memory
  15. Welcome to the Shard! First off, where did you get the information of the multiple magic systems on Sel and so on?
  16. Give me Mistborn in VR!
  17. I like how in his recent update, he apologised for not doing any writing yet still writing more than most authors in the past week.
  18. Imagine fighting Dark Souls bosses however they are now all in Shardplate. I'd quite like to play a game without running risk of a heart attack again, thank you!
  19. You just had to ask about the cookies....
  20. Welcome to the forum!
  21. It's an absolutely massive commitment to start Wheel of Time. There are times when you might feel it too long and take a break, that's fine. Some people take years to complete and that's totally fine. If you like Sanderson's work, the story is more Tolkien but it's a great achievement to say you've done it. On the other hand, if you do not like it, don't feel you need to complete it. There are tons of books out there that you'll enjoy that others don't and vice versa, at least you'll have tried. Good luck!
  22. I'd also be trying to take a selfie with that view!
  23. I didn't anticipate the results being so equal yet.
  24. I'd go into Earthsea. The world of Ea is a beautiful, fantastic setting and I'd love to learn the magic of them.
