  1. Welcome! I recently did a re-read of the full Cosmere myself and was blown away at the little tid-bits I missed out on. Sanderson really does ruin us as fans before, during and after! I'm currently reading Wheel of Time for the first time and it's complete different yet utterly enticing. What's your favourite non-Sanderson books??
  2. Welcome! Hope to see you around the forums a little bit more! Final Empire was the first book I read, too, so I know the feeling
  3. Well of Ascension is my least favourite of the books (it's not a bad book) but Final Empire and Hero of Ages are fantastically written. Kelsier and Marsh are also great ideas!
  4. Final Fantasy X will always hold a special place in my little heart. What a game!!
  5. I'm unsure if Hoid would be a great or a terrible father
  6. I don't know if he's important as he's only described as a Cognitive Shadow-Boat. There's no more information than that really and I'm not even sure we would get more.
  7. I waited so patiently for this to hit 69% so someone (mainly myself) could hit with the NO MATING joke but Brandon storming Sanderson just ruined that. Here's to the next progress bar!
  8. Welcome, not sure how I feel about there being a heretic on the forums (unless you're Jasnah) but I hope to see you around more. I'm sure a heretics views are mostly welcome
  9. Welcome @stormlightspren! I'm excited to see what a spren thinks about the board!
  10. Welcome @Alloyofchelle. Everyone's already asked questions so can't wait to see you around the forums!
  11. Welcome! Elantris is a great starting point. Many will say it's Sanderson's worst Cosmere as it's his first published however I found myself completely enthralled by the story. I'd recommend at least reading Mistborn before making judgement. Hope you keep us updated
  12. I can't believe that I said that in June of this year but I'm now already finished Eye of the World and part way through The Great Hunt! I remember initially reading Way of Kings and not getting into it until I read Mistborn and I feel like that's happened with Wheel of Time also.
  13. Prince Raoden and the Muggles of Elantris is a film I would definitely watch.
  14. Welcome @Knight General, what are you Knight General of in the Cosmere??
  15. Awesome! Raoden didnt click with me af first (Hrathen FTW) but he did end up getting points near the end. What books are you going onto next?
  16. I'm going to take a look after Uzumaki. Tomei and Gyo interest me enough

    Numberings

Ah, the numbers. Maybe if you put them all together it will be like Lost.
  18. Welcome to the Shard! Of what you have read, what's been your favourite part or character so far??
  19. I remember reading Uzumaki when I was younger and it freaked me out! I'm looking into his other works but I'm looking forward to reading this fresh (since I've either forgotten or just blanked it all out)
  20. I'm currently going to read Uzumaki by Junji Ito. I remember reading this when I was younger and being completely freaked the hell out!
  21. Welcome @Cosmerefan26, im sure there's a @CosmereFan here also. So many of you like Lopen and his cousins!
  22. Already attempting a theme tune for these Cosmere-nauts! Crossever with Skyward!
  23. Nah, I realise that. It really was genuinely just me trying to find concept but I do know that's not the case.
  24. It was more along the concept that there are those who can ingest all metals and those that can only ingest 1. I realise I should have said Mistings.....
  25. I imagine the concept of it is. Knights Radiant has, for example, its Windrunners who hold squires. Not necessarily "squires" but Mistborn have Allomancers. They don't necessarily feed on the Invested powers, shall we say, however are a diluted version of their higher-uppers on the hierarchy. Any other examples escape me just now but I think I understand the concept you're going for.
