I'm, getting around to it. I've been tied up with IRL stuff but believe me, the Hall of Legend is on my to-do list.

Seems a lot has happened while I've been away, am I correct in understanding that a pretty good chunk of time has passed? If so let's assume Akrasia is completely feral running around the wilder parts of the Alleyverse. I have taken the liberty of creating a new character if that's cool. Ima use this one later... maybe. My new charicter is on page 4

I'm kind of at UVU right now (it's complicated) but I would totally be open to the idea of a UVU cosmere club.

Its been a bit of a bad week, hopefully, yall won't mind if I vent a bit. I started having panic attacks about 2 weeks ago, and asked for a leave of absence at work (I work at a local pizza joint) they were not at all understanding and tried to fire me until they realized the possible legal implications. So they gave me my leave in the most uncaring and condescending way they could. I went to the doctor and he got me on some medication but stuff didn't really get better (I guess it takes a while to get into my system), I had panic attacks almost every day for the next week and a half and even had some thoughts about cutting or burning myself. on top of this I used to have a really bad speech impediment that took 10 years of speech therapy to get over, and now its started to come back, which kind of really sucks. I started missing a lot of school and I have had to drop all my classes to focus on getting better. Rationally I know it's not quitting, but it still feels that way, and I don't like giving up. I finally got in to talk to some sort of therapist person and he's pretty sure I have Bipolar II and OCD and we've only just started to dig, who knows what else might turn up. On one hand, its good to be making progress to patching my mind back together, but its also kinda freaking me out, sometimes medications don't work, and bipolar has a fairly high suicide rate. This really scares me. Basically, everyone agrees that I'm pretty messed up, but we still don't have any concrete ideas on how to fix it.

I can assure you that they are completely sanitary and absolutely scrumptious. And by the way @Wondercat, I love the 'stache.

Someone I used to know died today. I never knew more than their name and I hadn't seen her in several years, but strangely it still stings. They say she rolled her car coming down the canyon, they say she wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. I can't help but think how I am not dissimilar to her, we were in the same school took the same classes, I have driven down the same canyon. I don't know why I remember her, most faces are but blurs their names meaningless but for some reason her’s is sharply in focus. She was in my English class several years ago, she would answer questions and make insightful and often amusing comments. Aside from the occasional hello I never spoke to her. But I did see her, she was always smiling, always happy and full of life. Now she is not. Now she is dead. Death comes for us all, It looms just out of sight but sometimes I see it. Someday it will take people I know, this scares me. They say there is no light without darkness, they say it is contrast that gives life meaning, perhaps without death's shadow life would not have its allure. When we do see death let us reflect on it and contrast its bleak gaze to the intrinsic beauty that breaths all around us. Rejoice in the sunny splendor of life because we never know who it will take next.

I hate to wallop a dead horse but I am still not on the traitors list. But for pity's sake, how hard is it to, at the very least, receive a letter of condemnation or something. I'm been trying to get on there for months! have I not done enough, what must I do?

Akrasia's eyes snapped open, his mind echoed with his most recent nightmare. He had been pursued by terror, it had held no shape it was an idea, a vague, but sanity rending terror. there had been sounds as well, now he tried to repeat them his twisted vocal cords stumbling over the unfamiliar inhuman syllables. "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" A tremor shook him, his thousands of spikes seeming to resonate with the same terrible note. Without meaning to he said it again "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn" There it was! A consciousness vast and unknown brushed against his own, his spikes once again vibrated with that joyous but terrible resonance. This time he screamed it, he couldn't help it "PH'NGLUI MGLW'NAFH CTHULHU R'LYEH WGAH'NAGL FHTAGN!!!!" The consciousness focused itself upon him, a tentacle of it forcing its way into his mind. Howling with ecstasy he rejoiced in the visions of death and flame, he saw aeons of gore and death. The taters of his sanity were effortlessly swept away some part of him buried deep within recoiled in horror but it was rapidly being smothered. Akrasia's last thought was terror, terror for the Alleyverse, terror for his friends, terror for himself. Then it was gone the last vestiges of humanity were swept away. He was now part of something elderich, something alien and malignant, something glorious.

The stars will soon be right. The old ones must be awakened. They will return to us, We shall lose our minds and laws and morels, we will transcend good and evil. The old ones shall teach us their ways, we shall all revel in the ecstasy of madness and flame. It’s high time we had a Guild dedicated to the worship and introduction of HP Lovecraft's eldritch horrors into the Alleyverse. Essentially we are a Lovecraftian cult whose aims align with the DA’s for now… If you want to join us in our cyclopean quest just make a post where your RP character has a nightmare filled with guttural chants before awakening to find themselves beset by the urge to chant along with them. And you also have to swear to follow the elder gods, just a formality. Fair warning, your sanity has no place in this guild.
