The true Voidbringers? The Shin?
Fulminato replied to Hoiditthroughthegrapevine's topic in Stormlight Archive
Not alwasy true, there at least one shin warlod who try to conquerer roshar (and the event is enough recent to have clear record) “No, his greed,” Gavilar said quietly. “What’s the point of conquering if you can never sit back and enjoy it? Shubreth-son-Mashalan, Sunmaker, even the Hierocracy … (chapter 19. The Subtle Art of Diplomacy) -
i suppose the oathgate works in that fashion

“Horses weren’t terribly well known back then. Radiants had Ryshadium, but even kings had little access to ordinary horses.” WoR Chapter 25 "Monster" Ryshadium had stone hooves, and bonding spren is no so uncommon thing on roshar. (some purelake's fish are bonding some spren) and i think if the radiants were the first to ride them they don't have any link to odium.

timber was following eshonai in the first place, eshonai the explorer. the death of eshonai and demid sacrificated for resurrecting a fused change her fundamentaly making possibile bonding timber malata call her spren 'ashspren'

he was still alive, but dying. a shard need centuries to be gone for good (if you had read mistborn secret history you had a good example) But in the days leading to the Recreance, Honor was dying. When that generation of knights learned the truth, Honor did not support them. He raved, speaking of the Dawnshards, ancient weapons used to destroy the Tranquiline Halls. Honor … promised that Surgebinders would do the same to Roshar. without the gemstone the shardplates were totaly useless, and the shardblades are impratical to use if cannot dismiss between fight. adding the gemstone to blade (and after plate) took some time, the other was lost in the middle.

odium want be free from the oathpact, killing and splintering cultivation, (probably) destroy roshar and go to another shard world and repeat. he accept the dalinar challenge because winning will set him free.

[OB] Favourite OB moment / Character ?
Fulminato replied to Stromblessed's topic in Stormlight Archive
a child runing all her life because people can expect something from her don't have any appeal to me. her stubborness to don't learning nothing outside the strict street living skill is make abnormal annoying. i like her grow arc in edgedancer, a bit of responsibility was high needed. -
[OB[ Relation between Voidbinding and Surgebinding
Fulminato replied to KC Hammer's topic in Stormlight Archive
A coalition has been formed among scholar Radiants. Our goal is to deny the enemy their supply of Voidlight; this will prevent their continuing transformations, and give us an edge in combat. —From drawer 30-20, second emerald ephigrap chapter 78 "the revel" i don't know how the fused can use the voidlight aside from voidbinding. -

i think any common metal can hide the soulcasting, both ruin (ati), and preservation (vin) looking a some pure metal see only a sheer of light. a room full plated of metal is the thrick rashek use to hidden the atium gathered in the pits of hathsin in the 'kandra' reserve to ruin.- 39 replies

the other two spren should be?
-
he talk of the 'third' spren. the only 'third' spren is the red smoke towering over the two tunderclast spirit/spren
-
wrong nergaoul, the red mist the man overhelmed by the thrill see.

dalinar's oathbringer don't scream against him when he take after the bridgeman find it. "It remembers the day you won it, and better the day you gave it up. It hates you—but less than it hates others." the blade don't had any bond (sadeas is dead), but still the spren is in pain, and had enough awarness to remeber the honorable action of dalinar made that two day.

[OB] Argent's "Secret Renarin WoB", a.k.a. The Page™
Fulminato replied to Argent's topic in Stormlight Archive
all the fused use voidlight (fueled directly by odium, like the honorblades were a direct conduit to honor investiture) -
https://coppermind.net/wiki/Aimia the sleepless are Dysian Aimians, axies is an Siah Aimian. don't think many aimian survive the scourge of the island, they know each other isn't a big deal.

there is the WoR dust jacket The Knights Radiant must stand again. The ancient oaths have at last been spoken; the spren return. Men seek that which was lost. I fear the struggle will destroy them. It is the nature of the magic. A broken soul has cracks into which something else can be fit. Surgebindings, the powers of creation themselves. They can brace a broken soul; but they can also widen its fissures. The Windrunner, lost in a shattered land, balanced upon the boundary between vengeance and honor. The Lightweaver, slowly being consumed by her past, searching for the lie that she must become. The Bondsmith, born in blood and death, striving to rebuild what was destroyed. The Explorer, straddling the fates of two peoples, forced to choose between slow death and a terrible betrayal of all she believes. It is past time for them to awaken, for the Everstorm looms. And the Assassin has arrived.

It was in fact Nergaoul. the spren of the thrill. Oathbringer Chapter 115 "the Wrong Passion" - if she sworn the four oath i think she wore the plate for the battle, she is (probably) a third-oath KR, like kaladin, lift, szeth and dalinar. - she wore a form of power, so she had some void power, i think. Mr. T should had his day of brilliance and stupidity random, but all the day with a importance he seem have the right amount of intelligence for the task. in three book he never wreck the day. even the super genius day was needed to put in motion for the show down of the coalition in Thaylen City. i find it high suspect ishar call himself the aspect of the almighty. and his nation is in the middle of roshar,

amaram still hold a secret. a man how cannot forgive him, dalinar ask if the man was kaladin, and he denied. can be restares? and why he cannot forgive amaram?
-
i think is a realistic decision. the herals are all mad, jasnah with her 'scholar friend' point in that direction. dalinar had the time sensitive problem to build and maintain the coalitition against the army of odium, this is fo sure more important of a chase for a mad herald

we have a WoB on the matter In WoR there are some reference of the 'darkness' shallan's father had in his eyes. i found only this, but should be other in the book He looked up as she walked back into the feast hall. She set the cup before him, looking into his eyes. No darkness there today. Just him. That was very rare, these days. WoR of Radiance Chapter 65 "The one who deserves it"
