  1. Eyyy thanks for answering my questions guys!(: I just hopped on to check before I have to leave today. @MacThorstenson ahhh I see, yeah you can just ping someone if you want them to see it.(: @Devotary of Spontaneity mhm I saw the reasoning, but I'm still just curious whether it was conveniently placed on Monster and then removed later because I'm a super suspicious weirdo conspiracy theorizer in SE xD Thanks for explaining tho it's kinda NAI on it's own I guess, but I'd only look at it closer if Monser flipped elim. @MonsterMetroid I'd answer that in rp if I had the time xD Voting on Ripple didn't do anything but make a triple tie? That was my point about it not helping to save Rand. Yes, there were two people tied...but your vote just made it tied three ways. Sorry, for now my vote still stands because your reasoning about wanting to save Rand don't seem to add up because of this.
  2. Okay I'm reading back through the past cycles and just gonna ask questions that come... @MacThorstenson Why did you "poke" Ecthelion on cycle 1 with an actual vote when you were just trying to get him to respond to someone else's vote? Two votes for trying to get someone to get online is more dangerous than one in case the players forget to remove the votes before cycle ends. And voting on Rand just to keep the lynch tied? You could have done that by keeping your vote on Ecth so was there a reason you chose Rand instead? He was, after all, adding to analysis a lot more than most people. @MonsterMetroid How come you took your vote off of Lopen and placed it on Devotary, immediately after Lopen says he might vote for you out of self preservation and then you later vote for Ripple to "save Rand" as you claimed but the only lynch that would have saved Rand at that point was Mac? Directly after your vote on Devotary than @Devotary of Spontaneity removed their vote from you. Is it possible that you both were afraid Lopen would vote on Monster so Monster found a reason to move his vote off Lopen to ease Lopen from voting on him and then Decotary removes their vote near the end to ensure that Monster is safe and that leaves Rand and Mac and Ripple on the chopping block? (just a theory where these two could be elims together) @A Joe in the Bush you said there was no vote count on page 4 of cycle 1, but Monster posted one an hour before cycle ended? It was like 4 posts up from your vote. You couldn't have been ninja'd since you said you were only online 15 minutes before rollover. Just not see it? @Arinian why did you vote on Drought on cycle two just because he said he suspected you? You actually gave a reason for suspecting Mac and didn't vote on him instead? @RippleGylf you said this on cycle 2... I'd like to hear what that scenario was because it fits in my theory of why Monster would vote for you on cycle one to save Rand instead of on Mac who's lynch would actually have saved Rand. Mkay, just came across a post where Monster accuses Straw for leaving his vote on Rand on cycle one. (I could see an elim using this situation to frame a villager for an easy lynch) also just have to mention that I love your rp Monster. xD Okay I only made it through part of cycle 2 trying to really look for connections and suspicions, but now I gotta go so I'll try and continue later. I'd appreciate if everyone could answer my questions, would help me with thinking through everything thanks! I'll place my vote on Monster for now just in case I don't get a chance to get on again. Wooo a little actual analysis done finally! *tears of joy and self accomplishment*
  3. @A Joe in the Bush awwww thanks Joe sadly, I'm not that kind tho...I'd definitely have used a kill by now if it was just for kindness. I agree that maybe it's a smaller team and they just decided to use other roles until the village gets down far enough (since we usually end up lynching ourselves for a while) and if they killed people then they'd be narrowing down the pool for us even more? Maybe they are trying to scan people first to see who'd they rather kill when it gets really important and close to needing the right targets? I think if you have a low number of elims, the village isn't putting you in danger for a while, you have a scanner......uhhh guys? How many people does it take to control an army of undead? Just one? Darn, what if there's only one? That would explain extreme caution and the fact that almost every role i've seen or known so far as just been a regular soldier. Maybe Drake only gave the village a couple of roles and then made there be one scanner elim? I feel like that would explain no kills because that would leave no one to put in the kill and they'd be safer not using it. I dunno just a thought, but I definitely agree with Joe that it's probably a small elim team. Hmm...I'm gonna go read through the past cycles again finally so bye for now.
  4. @Ecthelion III how so good sir? I stated suspicion of Shqueeves last cycle and explained why? I just don't have time to review anything else rn. I knew he had a vote on him because I wanted to help lynch someone who I suspect even if it's just a small suspicion...it's the best I have for now and I don't particularly like the other lynch candidates or haven't gotten to look very closely at them yet. So I figured Shqueeves was my best vote for being in a rush and trying to count towards a lynch.
  5. Uuuuuugh I'm sorry I didn't do much analysis today, I was waiting for a call about a job and was very anxious all day and couldn't focus on the game. And now I don't have time >> Sorry, Shqueeves I'm gonna have to stick with my suspicion from last cycle. Soooo sorry:( Also, @Coop772 I'll get to that next cycle I hope.
  6. Huh, I didn't get anyone right but Seonid This was a fun game for the short time I played lol...thanks @Orlok Tsubodai and @STINK for running it and I hope next time I play an anonymous game, I have more time on my hands to fake my identity...and stay alive. xD Congrats to the activity winners, y'all deserve it!!
  7. Darn it, Straw almost always dies early I didn't see much out of the ordinary in his playstyle. I do wish I'd been able to think clearer and do more analysis last night but I was so dead and had a headache. Well, I dunno if I've ever played a game with Straw when he was an elim so I doubt I'd know when he was. I'll probably try to get around to a full re-read eventually, but not making any promises because like I said, gonna be so busy during this game. I wanna look back at all of Shqueeves posts to see if he seemed suspicious day 1 to me and my other suspicions currently are Len, Ripple, Coop, and maybe a few others, but those either give me a bad feeling or have done something at some point that I didn't like so I'll look back through again that's just my before hand sus list. xD (I'm always suspicious of Len so I'm gonna try really hard to avoid that feeling and stick to analysis while reading through xD) As for the no kill, it is curious and I think I might agree with Joe that they might be using other abilities first before putting in that action. Ofc they're always the possibility that they forgot to put in a kill considering I've been on an elim team where we forgot before. xD xD oooops (but there's also the chance it was blocked so I won't completely discount that)
  8. Mkay it's been a long day and I'm having trouble holding two thoughts together at a time xD I'm gonna vote on Shqueeves because his vote on Mac doesn't really explain his vote very well, especially since I totally get where Mac is coming from and I try to avoid tipping the village's suspicion radar as well when I'm a villager because(as we've had perfectly good examples with Mac and a few others) we do jump on anything and everything so even villagers have to avoid suspicion. I literally just played an entire game defending myself as a villager because of something that happened on the first cycle. Also, not caring who dies isn't exactly a beneficial point of view but technically it can be NAI I guess xD (not every good guy is a nice guy LOL) I'm gonna be crazy busy during this QF so please don't expect high activity for me which is normally what I strive for.
  9. Mkay so I didn't get a chance to vote earlier like I said I would because real life stuff came up...gimme a minute to look things over
  10. oh yay, thanks Shqueeves, now I'm not double posting xD I caught up lol Okay that cycle went crazy and yeah I would've moved my vote to save Rand if I'd been on, but is that just biased since I know he'll post a lot? I didn't see a lot of good reasons for any of Mac, Ripple, and Arinian to die either so that's not super fair to judge which player is more valuable or has a right to not get voted on early:P I caught up really fast just trying to hurry so I'll read through again after I'm more awake and have food in me and I'll try to vote. I'll be busy most of the day with voting (irl local voting and not for a lynch lol) and babysitting just to let everyone know.
  11. Aw not Rand:( I'll have to go catch up and see what happened. @Droughtbringer I had church Bible study last night and then felt really sick pretty much all day and evening so yeah I was less active for lack of wanting to focus on thinking through stuff. I'll go catch up now... btw @Drake Marshall that write-up was awesome!
  12. Yay game started and yet I'm once again not an elim and is it weird to be a good guy and want to be evil? xD yes I know, that's all quite ikyk so just ignore this part of my post lol Buuuut then that gives them less times to scan other people before/if they die. don't make them waste their scans, man xD I'd say only scan yourself if you think you're likely to die on a given cycle. I know I can usually tell when I'm close to gettin it. And because I can see an elim suggesting this to try and avoid less scans... Elenion Edit: darn you Rand ninja Edit #2: and lolz I quoted the wrong part of Len's post (please forgive my stupidity) ^ meant to quote that
  13. Yay GG everyone!! Dang i've never had to defend myself for an entire game before LOL. It definitely made me a lot more invested and thanks @Sart for such a great game! This is only my second game to survive to the end iirc and I'm actually very surprised haha. @Orlok Tsubodai thanks for being my only friend in pm for a while lol @Elenion Thanks so much for doing the analysis to finally turn the tide and get the village to listen I think people give me more credit then I deserve when they think I'm an elim haha. (Ofc I greatly appreciate the compliment xD)
  14. LOL don't feel bad xD I wasn't annoyed at you, I was annoyed at the rest of the village for not even trying to consider that you were evil and I was innocent although tbh this was the first game I've ever had to defend myself so hard and despite getting genuinely frustrated, it did keep me more active and will definitely be a good feeling to win xD (whether or not I'm the last elim kill) lol It's been a great game and y'all did a very good job!
  15. @MonsterMetroid I literally edited my vote into my post immediately after hitting send....how did you miss that? I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to and I'm sorry, but there's no way you could have missed it because it uploaded, I hit edit and typed it in and hit upload again so the edit was nearly instantaneous with my post. Also yes, I used the acid on Monster which I told Len I was doing. If I'd seen his message before cycle ended then I'd have used it on Steel instead. Sorry Len, my sis had to have a bday party LOL Steeldancer I explained my reasons for this already, but it's nice to see I was right finally.
  16. @Caesura aww I'm sorry you feel that way, but no one is trying to make this personal. I've been defending myself since cycle 1 because of an honest mistake. Honestly I'd still rather lynch Monster xD Sadly, this game hasn't been as much about what players have done that's suspicious, but what they haven't. So time constraints have really been an issue for everyone I think.
  17. @MonsterMetroid mkay, that's not cool tho...couldn't you just be lying please? I want to be right Honestly I'm once again feeling suspicious of Eternum but no it had to be you who put in the kill because Eternum's action was accounted for right? I didn't do it but darn I thought I'd finally caught you lying xD @Elenion or she said she did? If they were both elims, she could've just told you what Steel told her in the doc. That's an easy lie. @Devotary of Spontaneity huh I did miss that part thanks
  18. Are you saying you passed Orlok your bribe on cycle 4 when Len questioned Eternum and Orlok about the scan? Because in my pm with Orlok on cycle 4 he claimed to already have 2 bribes and you and Steel were the only ones with bribes before that cycle. I put in an order to take one on cycle 3 so Orlok couldn't have had my bribe until the cycle he died. Which means you have him your bribe the cycle before you're claiming and you're only revealing that after Orlok is dead and can't refute your claim. I also had a pm from Steel at the beginning of cycle 4 telling me not to give Orlok a bribe because he'd had his stolen by Orlok and had been talking to "a few" other people in PMs who had given him theirs already too. (I'm assuming he meant you and because you and Steel were the only players to have taken bribes already.) So, I'm seeing Steel freak out about Orlok getting too many bribes on the cycle before Orlok is killed by elims and then you say you passed Orlok your bribe on cycle 4 which isn't possible since both Orlok and Steel have stories that say you passed it on cycle 3 not 4. (The cycle that Len confronted Eternum and Orlok) If I'm looking at this correctly than your story doesn't line up. I also think Steel is your teammate and he's been avoiding the 6 players who didn't take items since day 1. He's been constantly posting paranoia of Orlok and Devotary instead. He voted on Len right after he went after Kynedath and hasn't added much to discussion himself other than that even tho he claims he's been keeping notes on things. I'm guessing the elim team is Kynedath, Monster, Steel, and Caesura and if you look back through the times that people have taken items and said actions then I get this: Cycle 1: 1. Kynedath (takes chalk) 2. Steel (takes crab) 3. Caesura (takes crab) 4. Monster (no action or possibly elim kill) Cycle 2: 1. Kynedath (takes acid) 2. Steel (takes bribe) 3. Caesura (takes no action and Len told me they said they were going to use their crab to scan so possibly put in elim kill) 4. Monster (takes bribe) Cycle 3: 1. Kynedath (unknown action but died the next cycle and still had acid and chalk so possibly put in the elim kill) 2. Steel (scanned Orlok and got his bribe stolen) 3. Caesura (no accounted for action iirc) 4. Monster (passes bribe to Orlok) Cycle 4: 1. Kynedath (unknown action and now dead) 2. Steel (unknown action) 3. Caesura (unknown action) 4. Monster (unknown action) Mkay so I hope I got this all right because the actions from one cycle aren't revealed until the next cycle so I'm trying to get the numbers right for when they actually took place. Len's suspicion of Caesura because they didn't use their scan is one reason I suspect them and also because they tried to help lynch Len last cycle when he said that they'd kinda been working together in pm. He didn't give much reasoning for his vote iirc. So, I'd still rather lynch monster today to end that debate, but only I know I'm innocent so I can't expect everyone else to know that Monster is an elim, but the fact that he couldn't have passed his bribe when he claims is clearly not something I made up. Edit: right, meant to do this Caesura ...I'll be all too happy to move back to Monster tho if anyone wants to.
  19. @Sart can I post analysis here if it was first posted in pm? I was already gonna share it here too, but I don't want to break a rule.
  20. Mkay I have a lot of stuff I need to look at and think through but I'll try and make a lengthy analysis post sometime tomorrow. I still believe Monster has to be an elim because I can't see any way Eternum put in the kill on cycle 1 and I didn't so ya. But I wanna get up some analysis for who I think the other elims are. But it's past 1:30 am and I need sleep so until tomorrow byeeee
  21. @Elenion I didn't vote for Kynedath because I'm positive that Monster is an elim so I wanted them lynched more than someone who I was only suspicious of. I wasn't on for the last several hours of the cycle iirc and if I'd known the votes were so close I'd have moved my vote over. Even tho we have differing opinions, I believe very much that you're a villager now because you almost got killed instead of an elim and because you wouldn't have gone after Kynedath so hard all of the sudden if you were an elim. I'm glad to die so that everyone will move on from this, and now that at least one elim died we might be able to make it at least one more cycle after you lynch me. So if this is really what everyone wants then sure. But I'm keeping my vote on Monster because he's an elim. I'm tired of defending myself and I wish I could've done something to prove myself, but heck I'm too frustrated and it's just a game so yep. I made my case for Monster so please just listen to that when I die.
  22. @Jondesu really? Because not like everyone else wasn't gonna point that out and also there would only have to contain one elim in that group because there was a kill made and that's all we know. Plus, pointing that out has given the elims a pool of possibly 5 easy village lynches. I don't see how that's such a villager thing to do. We've not even found an elim in that group yet and it's super frustrating not to be able to even take part in this game with analysis just because I didn't take an item on cycle one. I'd say that analysis has benefited the elims more than the village so far. Edit: @Eternum Why? In what way am I connected to Kynedath? I literally pointed him out as suspicious last cycle before Elenion did and no one had even mentioned him as being suspicious before that in the game as far as I'm aware. Did anyone even bother to look at my reads or did you just pass them by because you were assuming my alignment or you don't care because you're an elim? Edit #2: oh and also you can clearly see that I passed my bribe to Orlok because only me, steel, and monster ever took bribes and Orlok's actions have all been accounted for so I clearly gave him a bribe so all of my actions have been accounted for except day 1. I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who can say that for the whole game besides Orlok. I didn't take an item because I forgot to, then I took acid because that was all that was left mostly and because it's useful for blocking the elim kill and because I didn't want the elims having it, then I took a bribe because Orlok asked me to and said he'd help me out of the village being dead set on killing me if Budgie flipped village, then I passed Orlok the bribe for helping me. So I'd say I'm more accountable so far then anyone. Granted you'll probably just say I was an elim playing it safe since cycle 1, but it's not really fair to tunnel so hard on me when you're only choosing me over Monster because of one post he made that's not as dangerous to the elims as everyone claims. (Seeing how most of discussion had stagnated onto just us six players) Edit #3: xD I also forgot I was gonna say, think about why Orlok would have been the elim kill? They might actually have been worried that he'd shoot me and my alignment would flip village which would incriminate Monster and also not give them the easy lynch target of myself for today. At least consider that instead of saying he just died because he was gonna shoot me and I'm an elim.
  23. Why did Orlok get killed tho? Why would the elims kill the neutral? Did they know he had the map or something? @Jondesu don't lynch me because....I'm cute? but for realz I knew I wasn't dying because Orlok said he was probably going to shoot Monster and I gave him my bribe to get the lynch discussion off of me because with Budgie not flipping elim and Monster looking incredibly village for some reason then I was dead otherwise. So I'm still going with Monster because he has to be the one who put in the first cycle kill.
