  1. Yeah I might just give those a read sometime my brother got arcanum unbounded for Christmas and he keeps suggesting that I read them lol Yes! I feel like Lift will get on Kaladin's nerves so bad! but i also think they will end up being really good friends....finally Shallan will have someone to banter back and forth with lol what! no one else you know watches it!!! that's terrible! I'm currently catching up ...halfway through season 3...Bobby and Hunter just left in the episode I just watched last night (i cried )....I'm watching it with 3 of my siblings so it's super fun to have others to talk to about it! I'm always up for a convo on all things geekery! my whole family is obsessed with geek stuff but especially superheroes and star wars lol Being obsessed with superheroes is what got be into Sanderson's books actually...I started with the Reckoners series because it's about super powered people! That is a really great series!
  2. @_Stick_ for what it's worth I don't understand a lot of the suspicion on you but it does look like the lynch is irreversible at this point and I'll be sorry to lose another fellow villager if you do turn out to be innocent. It's really annoying to me that I just have gut reads on almost everyone lol....could the Elims be a little more obliging and be more obvious from now on please I stinkin can't figure y'all out! That being said I am voting for Joe because of a gut read but also because of reasons I mentioned in an earlier post.. @A Joe in the Bush you did answer my questions from my last post, but I still wasn't satisfied...sorry..can't shake my suspicions no one has posted a vote tally yet so here it is....hopefully i got it right...please correct if it's off Stick - Paranoid King, Ornstein, Frozen Mint, A Joe in a bush, Elenion, Randuir Joe - Elenion, Lopen, Brightness Radiant PK - Jondesu HH - Stick
  3. Yeah it's kinda funny cuz i started with the non-cosmere books ...I am actually playing a Sanderson Elimination rithmatist game right now so it brings back old memories lol Yes Lift is one of my favorites already too! I can't wait for her interaction with Kaladin and the others! It's going to be hilarious! I want to read the other short stories in arcanum unbounded but as you pointed out, spoilers! lol ..I think I'll wait on them for a bit AOS fans unite!!!!!! so awesome! We should be friends! than we can endlessly talk about shows and books cuz i saw from your page which I just went and looked at that you are just as big a geek as I am lol
  4. I forgot to mention in my last post that you standing up for Straw in more than one post was another reason that I trust you a little...but don't worry...I never trusted you very much I've heard the tales of Aman from my siblings and know that you are a good player and very capable of sounding good while being evil lol @Frozen Mint thanks for the vote of confidence! I haven't tried any RP yet so here goes... _____________________________________________ Amelia sat on the ground staring at her very shaky, chalk covered hands. Dead? Their first battle with the wild chalklings, and already two dead? But no...that wasn't right. It was the Forgotten. She could feel it. They were among them. She scrutinized every detail she had seen since meeting every member of their motley crew. But which one? Dusts! Their could be multiple Forgotten among them! She could hardly look at her teammates anymore without suspicion. She had been the one to find K'Sarben's dead body, lying in a pool of his own blood. The poor guy wasn't even a Rithmatist, apparently. How could they have sent him into battle! Her heart ached for him, and her stomach churned at the memory of him. She had also witnessed a brutal murder right before her eyes. She hadn't liked Regem, the fool worshipped the Forgotten, for pete's sake. But that didn't mean she had wanted to see him killed! How could Ryth have done that!? It was so cold-hearted! Could he be a Forgotten?...The Forgotten. Her mind drifted back to them. Amelia was flooded with a sense of anger, and determination. She stood, clenching both hands into solid fists. She must find the Forgotten, and make them pay. She whispered to herself, " The innocent WILL be avenged." She looked over to see Kyle fetching some shovels. She started towards him. At least someone else cared. _____________________________________________ @Jondesu I was already writing my RP when I saw yours....hope you don't mind being in mine If anyone else would like to RP with Amelia, I'm up for that!
  5. Ok sounds interesting...one nice thing about complicated and extensive storylines is that if you really enjoy it than there is a lot to enjoy!
  6. I've never read the malazan series...what's it about? Yeah...I want to start on the second Mistborn book soon! Thanks so much!!
  7. Thanks!!...I agree that all of his series are brilliant and unique in their own way!!! They are all awesome! Stormlight is definitely my favorite series for lots of reasons but the others are all in my top favorite books of all time category! I have always had a soft spot for stories filled with magic, knights, and clever humor....so The Stormlight series was a real combo winner for me! Also...it has the most with Hoid of all the series so far (fav character btw) My brother said that elantris and warbreaker are both amazing! I haven't read either of them yet....I have read the two stormlight books plus Edgedancer (in arcanum unbounded ), and the rithmatist, the reckoners series, plus the first Mistborn book. Thanks for the advice about the bridge...but apparently I was found to have "noble blood" so they pulled me out
  8. Okay, wow, sad that two villagers are now dead...especially a non-rithmatist First I will address this..I voted for Straw because he seemed to be posting enough to stay active, but not to include much thoughts on anything important like who he suspected, or what ideas he agree/disagreed with. It just seemed like no one else was either more or less suspicious than him, and so i figured i'd keep my vote on him. I do feel I may have been a bit too hasty in my choice and may not have thought it through very well...but I was trying my best. I hope that answers your question. I will try to be more careful with my vote this cycle to ensure that we do not lynch another innocent. Okay so, I did a super extensive re-read of the entire game up to this point and i would like to share my thought so far. I would like to say who I feel is village and who possibly Elims and state why I feel this way. For village I would say Lopen, Randuir, Frozen MInt, and possibly Aman and Orlok. As for Elims...possibly Joe, and Seonid. Okay here we go for reasons...in Lopen's case I feel like he was being set up. I know him well enough to know that he wouldn't be so stupid as to reveal that he knew Darkness Ascendant's role and than kill/have him killed...also if he was going to do something that made him look guilty already, why further incriminate himself by voting for a villager to be lynched. In my mind he was either set up on purpose or he just got unlucky in circumstances. Where Randuir is concerned, I feel like my paranoia of him was just me misunderstanding his actions, and after my careful re-read of his posts I feel pretty confident that he is village. He recommended that we try and protect warding villagers by using Lines of Forbiddance which I think is a good idea...and Frozen Mint also agreed with him which makes me feel like leaning village for her as well. For Aman, he has helped, continually, to throw out important and useful thoughts for the village to consider. If he was an Elim I doubt he would be so very helpful...even if he was trying to gain our trust. And finally for the villagers..Orlok did suggest that we should lynch someone on D1 which could be considered an Elim move, but the way he explained his thoughts on the matter I agreed with him that a D1 lynch would give us some info to go on, and he also emphasized the importance of speedily identifying and catching the Elims because of the threat of conversions if we lost too many villagers by playing slow and lynching anyone. Now for the Elims..I said I suspect Joe, and this is because he seems to be providing/agreeing to a lot of info and advice that would benefit the village, but not so much that it would hurt him as an Elim, providing him with enough "village" type speak that we wouldn't suspect him. I don't have a lot to go on for him so I won't vote just yet...especially considering that I don't want to make another quick and assumed vote so early on in the cycle...but I do want you to know @A Joe in the Bush that I've got my eye on you. Lastly I said I suspect Seonid, and that is because he remained so quiet during the first round, claiming to be watching and waiting, and than suddenly appears to accuse Lopen of being an Elim, after, to me, what seems like a very poor attempt at a framing. @Seonid I would like to know if you feel differently about Lopen after reading my post...or if you still suspect him. Many of the other players I have little, to no, idea of where they stand so I will wait to see what they do for the rest of this cycle. Oh! yeah...i also would like to thank @TheMightyLopen and @Elenion for sticking up for me! I didn't know that Straw was village and I'm sorry my vote on him got an innocent killed.
  9. Aww Thanks! ...he's always been a genius at strategy!
  10. Yes he is ...haha he didn't spoil much...i think he left out most of the important stuff in his explanation
  11. haha that's ok i was just teasing you for it....I tend to tease...a lot i would except that my bro, @TheMightyLopen and @Kolfire already explained it to me...never trusting cookies again haha Thanks for the advice! I will refrain from double posting....unless I want people to frown lol Thanks for the warning!
  12. So awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. I love it!!! Renarin is one of my favorites!
  14. Sweet! I love it! Very amazing artwork!
  15. Okay i admit that does make sense...something just struck me as odd when i read through your's and Hemalurgic's posts..the situation seemed a bit confusing but i can see where you were coming from.
  16. Thanks! I just started Mistborn...it's really good! I've only read the first one so far. If you start off any convo by quoting Princess Bride than you must be a cool person...I approve
  17. Thanks for the upvote! I don't wanna stay a bridgeman (bridgeWoman? lol) for long...it's scary out there This is my first RP game and I haven't done any RP yet...oops
  18. Thanks DA! I'm in the battle for Nebrask...with you Thanks for the cookie..I know I'm gonna regret asking this, but what in the world are the cookies about? I've only read the first book in the Mistborn series so far..but it is really good! I am having fun thankyou!
  19. Thanks for the welcome Aman! You have a good memory! All four of us love Sanderson's books so it wasn't that hard for Lopen to get us to play. I waited for a while to play because I didn't want to see spoilers before I read more of the books, but now that I've read quite a few of them, I thought I'd give it a shot. Thanks for the offer to help when I'm confused. I think I'm starting to get the hang of things now, but I will keep your offer in mind for later. As far as Stick is concerned, I feel like she is a villager. I'm not completely convinced, but I'm not suspicious enough to vote on her either. I think I will keep my vote on Straw, unless someone else catches my eye, or until Straw does something to change my mind. Thanks for being supportive of my first post, and I'm glad you thought it was helpful. @TheMightyLopen Thanks. I'm glad you think I'm a villager,,,cause I am. @A Joe in the Bush Thanks! I'm glad you thought my post was helpful too! @randuir I'm kinda curious as to why you would say you're suspicious of Stick, but then vote for Hemalurgic_Headshot intead. Didn't you accuse him of doing the same thing? If stick is an Elim then I would feel a bit suspicious of you. You say she is suspicious, but then you keep the vote from swinging over to her. Why? Hey villagers! Don't forget to make your Line before it's too late! If we don't take action then the Elims will get us pretty quick! Don't forget that Sart said if you don't make your Lines two cycles in a row then you will die...I don't know about you, but getting devoured by wild chalklings doesn't sound like a fun way to go! Also, I want to bring up the fact that a lot of people don't want a D1 lynch to happen, but I think it is really necessary to finding the Elims as quickly as we can. As several people have pointed out, time is of the essence. It's not that I really want someone to die, it just seems like the best course of action in this situation. For gathering more info, and taking a shot at getting rid of an Elim. I guess that's all my thoughts for now!
  20. well my post was poorly timed I just accused Straw of exactly that...I do feel like a hypocrite btw because I didn't provide much help in my post but I just feel like Straw isn't saying enough to prove that he's really thinking through the issues as a villager would.
  21. I'm really curious about this as well...I think it's really important to the game strategy. So, I have been waiting to post for a little while so I could analyze what is happening and try to get a feel for how this game works, also I had to sleep and my sis came to visit today. Sorry for the delay. Okay wow! This is a lot to take in! but here goes... @OrlokTsubodai thanks so much for the welcome! It's hard for me to answer your question because I'm still a little confused by everything, but I do agree with your proposal that everyone should post their viewpoints asap because we need more info to analyze...I think your right about time being an issue. @_Stick_ I agree that at least one of the people tossing out ideas is likely to be an elim, but I'm not sure we have enough to go on yet...I think your right to make us think of that fact though and I don't think an elim would have brought that to our attention. I want to say that I agree with the coin flip idea and kudos to all of you who formulated plans so quickly! Y'all are really good at this! I feel like this post isn't very helpful but I will keep trying to analyze and if I figure out anything to help I will post with haste Sorry Straw, I'm voting on you because, although you have been pretty active, your posts haven't really seemed to provide much help and I can't help but feel suspicious of you.
  22. Windrunner for sure! Flying! Running on walls! Dude!... but lightweaving would be a close second
  23. Hey everyone! So, yep I'm new on here and I'm playing my very first SE game! Hope I don't end up looking like a fool cuz I don't know what in tarnation's goin on lol...So random fact: The Stormlight Archive is my favorite series! What's yours? ~heather
  24. Thanks! Kinda both... I played mafia once several years ago and that was the only time...my brother @TheMightyLopen has been trying to get me to join SE for a while haha...he also was the one who got me reading Sanderson's books...So he's definitely a good brother lol
  25. Never role played before so please forgive me in advance! I'm signing up as Amelia. I kinda maybe got discharged for using up a rithmatist's chalk stash on a meaningless piece of artwork right before we got attacked...oops
