Well never mind about my theory of which ranks they have lol
-
@Cluny the Scourge that's definitely true...it would make a huge difference in the way I've been looking for skindancers
-
@Burnt Spaghetti @little wilson @Aonar Faileas Well I was actually expecting to get a waaaay angrier response from y'all if you were skindancers trying to protect yourselves lol..I thought you might get desperate if I was on to something...hmmm I'm still suspicious of Burnt for buying the gram and because I'm pretty sure that either her or steph are evil..I could be wrong though and their could be zero vintish skindancers....I will go back and look at some more posts...and possibly move my vote off of Burnt (considering that if is she is a student than she will be very helpful) I still believe PK about aonar though...i don't think I'm moving that vote...sorry I think there are most likely 5 skindancers...in the last game their roles looked like this: 1 Aturan Noble 1 yllish commoner 1 cealdish commoner 1 Edema ruh So we are probably looking for at least one rich student maybe 2 and probably at least one from every other category I think it would look something like this: 1 Edema 1 or 2 cealdish 1 or 2 yllish 1 vintish or aturan Since Hael and Sart are both insane the only Edema left is Aonar...of course Sart could have gone insane naturally and been an Elim...but I'm hoping I'm not wrong Also, Wilson, you could easily have stayed in Ankers which is only 4 talents and since you start the game with 6 Talents plus and your stipend is 9 Talents then you shouldn't have had any problem working your way up to buy an assassin by the time Randuir died even if you bought your own bodyguard...if you didn't think you would be helpful enough to afford things like assassins then why even go to Imre at all...just saying it looks more like something a skindancer would do and odd that you would say you wouldn't have enough money to buy even an assassin which was only 9 talents to begin with...what were you expecting to do in Imre?
-
Okay are y'all ready for my theory about the skindancers after probably way to much time put into analysis lol These are my reasons for suspecting, namely, Burnt Spaghetti, Little Wilson, and Aonar: 1. I think Wilson decided to just hang out in Imre to buy stuff for the Elims instead of trying to pay for tuition as a cealdish commoner and since she's poor she wouldn't be suspected of buying little things like assassins. I think she advised Burnt to buy the gram and then they proceeded to "argue" about it in thread...trying to distance themselves as teammates. Then Wilson blamed the gram on steph (the only other vintish who prob would have bought it) until Burnt claimed to have bought it...thus looking more innocent by not trying to deny it. 2. Randuir was being waaaay to helpful to the village and possibly trying to advance in something they considered a dangerous field...so they killed him by a double tap because he probably had a bodyguard. No one went insane on the turn Randuir died so I'm assuming it's because they used a sabotage and a kill action just on Randuir. 3. Orlok was becoming far to dangerous to keep around...so they caused him to go insane. I thought it was a natural cause of insanity until I realized something was off...if he had been attacked by the elims with sabotage than why hadn't 3 other people gone insane because he was bound to two players with malfeasance (he told me in PMs that was his latest elevation)...I believe that he was bound to Joe because he seemed slightly suspicious of him in PMs and I think he could also have been bound to Burnt but she was protected from the sabotage because of her gram (which says in the rules it will protect from malignant sympathy actions...and that includes binding right?) So they got off looking like there was one sabotage insanity and two natural insane. I think Sart was the natural insanity because I'm pretty sure he was studying in naming and I don't think orlok was that suspicious of him. Plus if he had been bound to orlok than were was the Elim sabotage that turn? 4. Wilson says she had been "thinking she had put in lodging orders"...when she could really have been just hanging out on the streets to save money (she was safe with a bodyguard and Aonar protecting her with naming). She asks why he would want to protect her if he was an Elim, but why wouldn't he protect a fellow Elim? At this point with Aonar being exposed it looks like she is now trying to distance herself from him as well...no loyalty among skindancers lol these are my theories but the more I think about them the more the pieces seem to fit like a beautiful puzzle...so what do y'all think? I've already voted on Aonar and since Wilson isn't even at the Uni. I will be voting on Burnt for my second complaint. I am trying to stay true to my word and give good reasons along with enough time for people to defend their actions when I make my complaints this time. @Burnt Spaghetti @little wilson @Aonar Faileas I want to make sure you see this post in case I'm wrong
-
Okay sooooooooo...did aonar just admit to being a skindancer in his RP lol?? I was gonna vote for him anyways but... @Aonar Faileas awesome RP btw!! I was seriously intrigued by your character and the way you wrote it!! But still... Aonar I trust PK the most of any of the players since he was literally a target of an elim sabotage already so yeah.. Of course if you can't actually spy on an Elim doc than that person telling PK could just be lying right?

@Drake Marshall yeah I realized that I had done it again right after the turn ended and I kicked myself good for it too to be honest I was more suspicious of you than Stink so I was actually trying to get you in trouble but I do fault myself for getting STINK in trouble with not giving much of a reason I promise to be more careful but I can't really give a defense other than that I was rushing and didn't think it through
-
Yeah sorry I do feel bad about that @STINK I'll admit that I shouldn't have voted so close to the end of the turn...I wanted to help spread out the votes so the others wouldn't take such a huge hit but it didn't help anyone it just got you in trouble...sorry again. I am a little suspicious of you but I feel I didn't act in the best way..honestly if I were someone else right now I would be suspicious of me too I will try to only vote on my suspicions early on in the turn from now on unless I am SUPER suspicious of someone I'm the one who should be RPing an apology but I guess this will have to do I was eating dinner in the last hour before the turn ended and I only came back at the end...I kinda freaked out when I saw that there were only a few votes out there and I thought I could help spread the DP a little...guess it was a mistake
-
Wow that's a lot of stuff that happened! What does Orlok's insanity being recognized mean? Was it because of his studying in Sympathy? Does that mean he went insane from natural causes? Nice save! @little wilson were you attacked or on the streets?
-
I went and looked through some of Stink 's posts and I feel like he has been posting enough to seem active but not really add any opinions or analysis in thread He's also been very quiet this turn..which is strange
-
Well I'm trying to figure out who to vote on this turn but I can't really find anyone that suspicious.... I don't want to vote on someone without doing any analysis of them so I might not vote this turn seeing as how it's almost the end of the turn...I will see if I have time to look into Stink's posts cuz I'm kinda suspicious of him
-
@little wilson all I'm trying to do is figure out what's going on? But thanks for explaining the LoC to me...I thought you had to target someone targeting you and I was like "well that would be next to impossible to figure out" Haven't posted any RP this turn so: Amelia was strolling through the grounds of the University when she heard a strange commotion coming from near the crockery. A large crowd had begun to gather, and she rushed over to see what was happening. There stood William Opuscule as large as life! He was smiling, while being bombarded with a myriad of questions. Apparently he had escaped from the crockery, and was proclaiming that he was returning to the University immediately. How could this be possible? Had he really regained his sanity after a skindancer attack? Maybe there was hope for the others after all. He was a little busy at the moment, so she would find him later to welcome him back...and ask him some questions. Maybe he could lead her to a clue about who the skindancers were, or why they might have targeted him in the first place. Maybe it was time she made a friend here after all.

Soooooo....was your action cancelled?
-
Hmmmm I'm still confused lol...so do you have to use the law of contraposition on the actual person targeting you and tell the GMs who you want them to target instead? Or could someone else target a random person's actions and change them? If Arinian was elevated in arithmetics and not in rhetoric than steph would be lying... right? Why would she draw attention to Arinian though if he's already expelled? Ninja'd by steph
-
@queensteph I think you're probably right about Arinian...it looks suspicious any way I look at it I was suspicious of you for a bit but I'm starting to feel like an Elim wouldn't have openly stated all of this info in the thread Still trying to piece all of this info together but the more I think about it the more I am leaning village for you If you were an Elim and trying to get us tor target a more vulnerable student than once he died and was revealed to be a student than you would be exposed so I can't find any version of your story where you would actually be an elim...hmmm
-
Thanks GM Lopen! Okay so that means the people from my list who could have been there are Steph, Aonar, and Sart...but I dunno if they would have mentioned going to Imre in the thread if they were gonna buy an assassin...plus aonar and sart are probably too poor to afford one since they're both Edema Ruh This also rules out the people who were in Imre on Term 2 Turn 1 cuz they couldn't have been there two turns in a row, right?
-
aaaaaand I'm back...as I promised I'm glad that since I left there are a lot more posts! Yay! @Elbereth If you pay for an assassin do you have to use it on the turn you pay for it? do you put in the order and then it makes the kill the next turn? Or is it affective on that turn? Here's a list of everyone who has stated or hinted in the thread when they have been/might be going to Imre in case it helps narrow down who might have payed for an assassin: 1. Mystery person(Wilson stated on Term 2 Turn 1 that she had it on "very good authority" that there had been a gram still left in the apothecary on Term 1 Turn 1 so someone must have gone then and told her) 2. Steph (asks on Term 1 month 2 if a person who's actions are on hold can still go to Imre...on Term 2 Month 1 she says she didn't know the grams were sold out...so she may have gone to Imre Term 2 month 2 3. Burnt (says on Term 2 Turn 1 that she was the one who purchased a gram so she must have been there the turn before or at the very beginning of Term 2) 4. Wilson (stated in thread that she was there on Term 2 Turn 1) 5. Brightness Radiant (yes I went that same cycle and also saw that the gram was gone) 6. Aonar (says on Term 2 Turn 1 that he didn't get elevated and so he's going to hang out in Imre and do nothing for two turns...so he was either there on that turn or the next probably) 7. Sart (states in thread that he's in Imre on Term 2 Turn 2) 8. Wilson (says that she saw that the assassin price was raised this turn) I know someone else could have gone too and not have posted about it but I thought it might help to look at all the info we have in the thread...if anything it could tell us who was open about going to Imre. And you can't stay in Imre for two turns in a row unless you aren't a student right? So that would help us mark off whoever went to Imre on the turn before Randuir was killed if the assassin is affective immediately..or if you have to put in the order on the turn before the kill will take affect I hope this all makes sense I feel like I'm rambling
-
I've been busy with church today and then I took a nap and now back to church soon for the night service...I will be on later this evening though Yeah I was surprised too at how empty this thread has been...I guess with no randuir to guide us we are gonna have to step up our games. I feel kinda lost on how to proceed in this game... @Hemalurgic_Headshot your RP is very fitting for this turn

Okay fair enough I'll leave you alone for now lol @Jondesu yeah I guess I can't really get too much of a read on you sense you haven't been able to participate much cuz of irl stuff...I promise I will only vote on you if I think you're still suspicious after I go back and re-read all your posts...but considering that you've been so busy lately...probably explains why I feel like you aren't getting very involved..cuz you don't have time...I will probably end up voting for someone else with this in mind
-
I don't see how my vote being in the last four minutes is relevant but I was busy all day and couldn't post until the last 4 minutes...if you are a villager I'm sorry but I was just trying to vote on someone who I suspected...and that was you I actually didn't have time to analyze your posts during the day and I had said that I was going to do so and post my findings on this turn ..just because you are expelled doesn't mean I shouldn't still suspect you. I'm not trying to be mean just analyze and report what I find as promised last turn. I have read back through all of your posts now and most of what made me suspect you happened earlier on in the game but the farther along the game came the more I agreed with your reasoning in your posts...so I will say that I'm less suspicious of you now than before I re-read your posts if that helps at all. Most of what I found suspicious I already mentioned in previous posts so I will forgo restating those, but one thing was odd that stood out to me which I don't think I ever mentioned.. On Term 1 Turn 1 you said that we gained zero info from voting but only gathered info from investigative actions but then in Term 1 Turn 2 you said we should start voting on people we suspected because it would give us info...I didn't really understand why you changed your mind? I know you said you weren't going to defend yourself but if you are a villager I want to know that you're innocent...please don't be offended by my suspicions
-
Nooooooooooooooooo Randuir! wow I was not expecting that...hmmm an Elim kill? Why would a villager kill Randuir since he's been so helpful and not under hardly any suspicion so I'm guessing he was killed by an Elim? I am very sad to lose him. I think we needed his continual analysis of the thread and his getting the conversation going in the right direction. I will definitely be looking into who he suspected in the past cycles. Also before anyone else points out my mistake last cycle can I just say oops...I voted for three people haha...so just so everyone knows my votes that counted were on Arinian and Drake. I'm still suspicious of Jondesu though so I might make that third vote be for this cycle lol I've actually been analyzing Drake's posts over the last couple of hours and I will post what I've found suspicious/not suspicious in a bit. I have to say kudos to @Paranoid King for breaking out of the crockery! Not an easy feat! Hopefully you're not evil

Alrighty so here's a posty... I was so out of it yesterday that no matter how much I tried to analyze I came up with very little I suppose sleep should be a necessity in life my RP about Amelia not being able to focus was pretty accurate lol Ok so what do I have to add to the thread this turn? Hmmm... Here is a list of all the people I am suspicious of and if I have time why: 1. Drake 2. Jondesu 3. HH 4. Burnt 5. Wilson 6. Randuir (I hope not but can't shake this feeling) Okay let's see how far i can get before time's up... Okay so I'm suspicious of Drake because on the first cycle first turn he says we shouldn't vote on anyone and he's like super adamant about it but then on turn 2 he votes pretty early and I was like huh? What's so different about the second turn of the first cycle..we hadn't really learned anything? And the person he voted on was HH who I honestly do suspect or being evil but I would have thought he'd have voted on PK cuz he was the one who really caused the first turn voting and if Drake was really angry about it why didn't he suspect PK? He then goes on the accuse Burnt of being an Elim just cuz she bought a gram...I personally thought about buying a gram but they were sold out and then i did some more research and I was like never mind a bodyguard would be better anyways..but honestly the nobles are in more danger from votes and elims wanting to get rid of the richer assets so I don't see the big deal about that either...if I had time I would go back through the rest of your posts but those are some of the main reasons I suspect you...Will do a re-read of your stuff later Looks like my time is running low...I'll just focus on the other person I voted for now..Jondesu I'm suspicious of him cuz he seems to be adding less opinions and help than he did in the last game I played with him but that could just be cuz he's busy and this game is waaaaaay more complicated...he also hasn't really seemed too interested in all the voting...not really helping or making enemies...just seems suspiciously like lurking to me..I dunno No time for more!

@queensteph Yeah I kinda get where you're coming from, I just don't really agree. Even the tiniest hint of suspicion is enough for us to want someone hampered from taking action against us if they are a skindancer, so we should be voting for even the little things. I just thought your post seemed to be defending him and that was weird to me when he did seem suspicious. I'm not totally sure he's evil, but that's true of everyone up to this point. (even you...*gasp*...suspicious of my own sister?! lol ...don't want no one pulling a grant ward on me )Hail Hydra now for some RP: Amelia sat in her classroom trying to listen to what her professor was saying, but failing quite miserably. She scolded herself for losing focus, when she had been so eager to come to the university in the first place. She couldn't help it. Her mind was constantly filled with thoughts of skindancers. When she looked at her professor, she saw a skindancer trying to feed them lies. When she watched her fellow students, passing notes in class, she saw skindancers plotting against her. She even saw skindancers on her way home from school. They were everywhere...and no where. She had been trying so hard to learn everything she could about everyone here, that she had begun to suspect literally everyone. "Miss Amelia? Could you give us the answer, please?" Amelia almost fell out of her seat. She hadn't even heard the question. How could she give the answer? Her heart rose into her throat, and she sheepishly looked down at her desk. "I'm sorry Professor. I'm afraid I didn't hear your question." The professor looked over his glasses at her, disapprovingly. "Well then, can anyone else tell me what the answer is? A student who was actually paying attention?" Several students snickered, and Amelia ,blushing furiously, slumped lower in her seat. Great. All she needed now was to offend a master, and never get elevated. If she wasn't careful she might even end up in the crockery before too long. She forced herself to focus on her lesson for the rest of the class, setting aside her worries of skindancers for later.

Okay well...I want to be elevated too please This has been an interesting turn so far..finally people are voting on a common suspicion! I was reading through the thread when I came to Arinian's post asking Alv to share info in PMs and I was like ok but then he said he would remove his vote "if" he shared and I was like "whoa, that is not okay. Isn't that like blackmail?" And then I continued on the thread and was like yup it's not just me lol Arinian @queensteph why are you defending Arinian when everyone is upset with him for a good reason? Shouldn't we be trying to vote and expel our biggest suspicions? Even if he was just trying to get info, voting on someone and then saying you will remove the vote if they share info with you, is not the way a student should do things. He may be innocent but it sure looks fishy to me. He's no more lost when it comes to info than the rest of us. I will be back with a more extensive analysis and RP in a bit.
