Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
BrightnessRadiant replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I'm tickled pink to be playing a mlp based game! I will try to be as active as possible, and remember to keep up my cosmetic role! @Herowannabe I loved the writeup!! @randuir great thoughts! Thankyou Jeeves! For now I don't have much to say except I agree that the unicorn's should take advantage of their pms, and add us non unicorns lol. I mostly just really want pms haha. I almost signed up as a unicorn just for that, but I couldn't pass up wings! Also, I was gonna try to urge everypony towards a no vote first cycle so I could be sneaky and use my cool pegasi ability, but I agree with Randuir that the element of generosity would most likely end up hurting a villager this cycle if we did that. Plus, now that this is my fourth game to play, I'm starting to realize that a first cycle lynch is usually a good way to go. Especially in a shorter game. Also warning! If you have the element of loyalty please be careful about protecting the pony with the element of magic because it could really backfire on them. I think it would be safe unless you were under a lot of suspicion, or you thought the elims might attack you. I'd just thought I'd say something about that because we don't want to lose our magic pony, but especially not early in the game, because no magic pony means no more powers! The element of kindness is awesome! You can't die! (Or be kidnapped whatever lol) wait....can the pony with that element still be kidnapped, but not lynched? Laughter is cool because if you use it correctly, it could be a great protection for ponies you believe are confirmed village! Well I said I didn't have much to say, but then I thought of some things lol.- 628 replies

Ugh aman died!? I tried to give him some protection but it failed! Did someone manage to block the sabotage?? Everyone that took a hit was attacked by assassins! I used fae lore on Cluny but it failed so he must not have been in Imre. Welcome back Orlok!! We sure could use your help!

Okay I just checked back through my pms and I tried to use fae lore on HH the turn that I attacked stick, but my action failed. (I think that was the turn that arinian said he used nahlrout on me.) That was the turn I was also sabotaged. Then on the turn that I was attacked by Burnt's assassin, I used fae lore on Cluny and Straw and my actions went through. There was apparently no sabotage that turn because I was only attacked once, and Burnt and Steph said it was Burnt's assassin that hit me. Edit: I think we should go after Cluny or Straw, but I don't have enough money for an assassin right now because I bought help for someone You'll be receiving a gift next turn...so then you'll know who you are lol. Actually it might even be active right now? Not sure.

whyyyyyyyyy?

@Cluny the Scourge I don't think aman is evil either that's why I said he doesn't seem evil like he did in MR21. Also I don't think burnt should reveal if she is.. it would be too dangerous for her. Whoever the village namer is, they should be protected. I don't see why we should know their identity unless it would be so we wouldn't kill them.
-
@Cluny the Scourge I thought she WAS a skindancer for a while because of the whole omen recognition thing. Which could still be a lie, but as I said, after thinking everything through and re-reading her posts I get a really village vibe from her and so I figure that stick probably was attacked more than once on the turn that I hit her. I just wish she would have clarified that for us. @Amanuensis haha yep...totally evil ...especially the part about you wanting to avenge the dead villagers who were anxiously reading the thread. That was just cold lol. Edit: also Cluny you know you can get a loan right? (Hopefully I'm not giving tips to an elim here lol)
-
@Amanuensis this would be awesome if it's true! Also I did use fae lore on Cluny and straw on the turn where the only attack was an assassin on me from Burnt. So I believe that Cluny or straw (or both) are probably elims. Thinking back through everything I feel like steph probably isn't evil and I don't think I'm wrong. Everything she's done has seemed up front and helpful. I also finally trust Burnt lol. And I'm pretty positive aman isn't evil. He doesn't give off that same slimy vibe that he had in MR21 lolz. I relatively trust arinian still as I stated before and I definitely trust pk. So all that's left is Cluny and straw tbh. What is Cluny spending ALL of his money on? Cheese?! (lol @Cluny the Scourge maybe you can put that in your signature ) But for real...he's a master so he's got half price tuition and he's also got mathematics abilities and he stole at least 4 talents from steph earlier...just sayin I've been shopping in imre quite a bit in this game and I don't see why an aturan noble master mathematician is complaining about money problems?? He also hasn't said much in the thread lately but what he has said made me suspicious too. He wanted stick dead (of course we all thought she was evil too) and he also said that we should start systematically killing the people in the crockery?! I don't know why that hadn't really raised any red flags for me until now. Okay I went back and found when he said that and here it is... He said that he would like to kill alvron when he had enough to afford an assassin and then maybe start systematically killing everyone in the crockery! I don't see how that would be good for anyone but the elims? Straw has also been on everyone now and then but hasn't really posted. He says he's here and watching, but that's what worries me. If we can attack people in the uni I'd say we go for Cluny because he's giving me a lot of gut wrenching lol. But if we can't hit him I would suggest steph and aman try to coordinate an attack or something. Personally I'd rather make it to the end of this game, but wouldn't we all. If you do decide to kill me, please don't kill steph just because I'm a villager. I don't think the elims are among our active planning team. (Me, steph, Burnt, and aman) I feel like they're the quieter ones, just letting us take each other out one by one. Okay I was ninja'd by aman and arinian while writing and doing research for this post lol Edit: everyone is expelled except for steph, Cluny, and aman.

Okay I just realized the simplest way to decide that situation would have been to ask stick if she was attacked more than once...cuz wouldn't she have been able to answer that? Because if she had a gram or a bodyguard it would tell her how many uses she had left. I wonder why stick never said anything about that? Ugh if she was hit only once than it would be obvious if me or steph was lying. But if it was more than we could both be possible villagers. Well I know I am. And I thought steph was too but now I can't decide. Also @Amanuensis you could just call me paranoid lol...technically I bought a gram for you last turn but I couldn't pass it until this turn. But now I'm just trying to make sure that I really trust the person I pass it to.

Actually Eolhondras is dead haha of course I don't but I still don't trust you lol (I did say I wanted revenge for the MR after all ) Also I have omen recognition and to me it's a weirdly confusing power lol...I've had more problems with that one than any others haha. I don't see why it couldn't have shown up as skindancer involvement if she was targeted by more than one person, but yeah I'm starting to believe steph is evil. you were my sister @queensteph I loved you! lolz

I used far lore on stick cuz I couldn't afford an assassin but it looks like it wouldn't have worked on her anyways I also used far lore on straw again cuz he's totally fishy...too quiet. Too lurky. (Is that a real word ) I tried to buy a gram for someone but I couldn't pass it until this turn so I'm glad I didn't die yet. Be really nice to me if you want a gram lol I'm having a hard time figuring this out! Ya know how sometimes in life you just want to flip to the end of the crossword puzzle and see all the answers...I feel the need lol After seeing that stick was a student I'm extremely paranoid that either steph is evil or someone attacked stick the same round as me when she used omen recognition. Personally I find it more likely that she's evil. @queensteph no offense sis ...actually towards the start of the game I had pms with orlok and Randuir and they were both suspicious of her. I said I didn't think she was evil, but she may be more skilled at trickery than I'd assumed. Also I was wondering if the village namer was still around...guess I got my answer lol I'd really appreciate knowing who they were so I could help narrow down the elim possibles, but I wouldn't advise them revealing their identity because it would be FAR to dangerous for them if the elims found out who they were! Is anyone suspicious of aman? Or is it just me? There's no way he's still on the streets. I mean...no one is that lucky. Also I just went through a QF where the elim last standing hadn't played at all...so I'd say I'm paranoid now lol. All aman did before he left for a while in the game was say that he trusted Randuir and thought he was a villager. (That could totally have been a ploy to get us to trust him if he was able to play the game later like he is now right? Or if he died on the streets while he was absent from the game and he turned out to be an elim he could have made Randuir look bad if he was still alive. Also, just because he was "on the streets" for a long time, if in fact he wasn't putting in lodging after the first cycle, then he could've bought protection just in case he was hit, or an elim teammate could have bought him protection. I know he was never hit but that doesn't mean he wasn't prepared. I'm just sayin...I've been overlooking aman for the most part and I think I should be more careful. I will post analysis later this evening probably cuz I'm going to visit my sister today.

Fear us! (although i highly doubt steph will be signing up since she hasn't read any Mistborn yet ) I will be signing up as Mila a girl from the country.

Are you kidding me??!! Stick was a student!? I'm happy to be alive which means no one attacked me, but really?! uuuuuuuugh Who are the baddies!? This turn I will have more time for heavy analysis I can promise you that! You shoulda killed me, elims! Now you're goin down! Edit: aaahhhhh I see why they killed stick...they're trying to make it look like I'm an elim cuz steph claims that she used omen recognition on stick's attack last time and saw signs of a skindancer. Well played elims. well played. But I'm goin down swingin Edit #2 also steph is a master now if anyone cares Also @DroughtBringer I loved the writeup!!

Please excuse my double post! Analysis takes so long and I'm running out of time! I only had time to analyze the first turn (failure lol)...I have to go eat dinner and then I need to get ready for Bible Study at church. Here's what I found anyways: 1. There was a scuffle between Drake and HH about why HH voted on Mage...Steph stepped in and defended HH by saying that she thought his vote was just for tuition reduction. She asked HH to clarify for Drake and HH obliged. (Could be helping a fellow elim but I don't know that she would have stepped in if she was one) 2. Stink didn't want everyone attacking the rich people just because they were rich..said that happened to him last game. (Could have been trying to protect HH and any other rich elim teammates?) 3. Aonar wasn't active on the first cycle for personal reasons so nothing from him on the first turn. 4. Steph was really active and she seemed to be trying to figure out if we should have a first cycle vote or not. (Don't think an elim would've had much of a problem with that so village read for this.) She ended up voting on Burnt and Jondesu to help spread DP. 5. Stick jokes that PK was voting on her to get tuition reduction to help him pay for a better place to stay. She said he wouldn't want to stay in Anker's if he was an elim and worried about his "elim actions" failing. (I feel like a villager might not have thought of this as quickly as an elim might have, but then again maybe she's just more observant than I would be lol) She said that she would probably just vote for someone random to save herself from getting too much DP, but in the end she didn't vote at all. (Could have been trying to avoid anyone analyzing her actions? I dunno) 6. Tells people to be careful when voting on the Edema cuz they're poor. (A good point, but could also be protecting Aonar who was an elim?) Voted for me to help spread DP. (Nothing alignment indicative) 7. Arinian voted for Silver who was sabotaged that turn. (I doubt he would vote for him if he knew the elims were gonna hit him) 8. Straw posted a lot of money type advice but no real opinions on the voting or anything. (Kinda neutral or trying to stay out of the crosshairs if he was an elim) 9. Aman wasn't active (obviously lol) I already did analysis on Cluny last turn so I won't bother with that again and I trust PK after the whole Aonar situation. I don't know if this helps much but it's all I had time for. I'd rather not die so if anyone can find a better target than me, please do lol....just keep in mind that if the village decides to go after me than the elims will probably target one of the other villagers as well. Possibly giving them two dead villagers this turn. Just be careful and act wisely.
-
Yeah when I used omen recognition it just said that skindancers were "involved" too. (I used it to see if I was attacked by them the first time but then I didn't mention it cuz elbereth clarified on the next turn that I HAD been sabotaged.) So either steph is lying about me or someone else attacked stick too. Cuz I'm not an elim Ugh I'm gonna try to go do some lengthy analysis...that way if y'all do decide to kill me you can have a lot to go on once I'm gone.

He wasn't yet when aman voted for him.

@Burnt Spaghetti haha I can't argue that I've been hounding you this game and steph hasn't, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm still a villager....I feel like this turn isn't gonna go well for the village unless we can work together. If it means you can figure this out...I vote that you try to kill me. I would prefer that we try to figure out who the actual elim is by some more analysis of the thread and our own opinions instead of just trying to play Russian roulette here, but if that's what it takes then ok. Unless anyone can answer the questions I put forth earlier like: 1. Who helped kill HH if stick didn't? 2. Why didn't aman's votes count against Cluny if he really is at the uni? Is he lying? Or did someone move or cancel his votes somehow? The gms confirmed it was not a mistake that the votes weren't counted. 3. Why would Cluny go to Imre if he wasn't there to buy an assassin? He claims that he didn't have a lot of money. So what's the point in going there with no money and less protection? 4. What about straw possibly being evil cuz I blocked him too? I'd also like to say @Straw @Paranoid King @Arinian (am I forgetting anyone?) Where are you guys??? I feel like we should really start doing a little more digging into the known elims posts and see what they said and who they accused/defended before we completely decide. But regardless we need to be a team now more than ever! Let's go village! (the glory spren liked my speech lol)

It's true that they could have held off on the actual sabotage if they were trying to make someone look bad since us archivist's have been flinging fae lore around everywhere lol
