  1. Well I got vin from that test which I can see in some ways but I also relate to shallan because I am a huge teaser and I love to draw! ...and I have a crush on Kaladin
  2. May the fourth be with you all!  today gonna be non-stop star wars :P

  3. Amelia sat in the library, twirling her hair, and studying once again. The trip to Imre had proven very refreshing as she'd hoped. It was an exciting experience. There had been people arguing about the sold out grams, people selling contracts, and other very interesting things to look at. It was a very enlightening experience, but mostly it had taken her mind off of skindancers for a while. Now she was back to her usual studies and currently was taking notes on her fellow students in the building. There was Telar, returning a very large stack of books, as usual. He was actually early this time. How did he manage to read so many books so quickly? He must be a genius. Then there was cluny, asleep at his table, and...was he chewing on his pencil and making squeaking noises? Hmm he was an odd one to be sure. Amelia started scribbling notes down on everyone she saw and what they were doing. She never knew when a skindancer might just slip up and doing something suspicious. She kept watching, and waiting.
  4. okay I fell asleep instead of posting my suspicions and RP cuz I was too out if it to stay awake...hopefully I still have time for both but it will be rushed People I'm suspicious of: 1. Everyone (haha I can't help it..I was traumatized by MR21 ) 2. But for real...Drake Because he was so against the vote in the first turn and then immediately voted on the second...just struck me as odd because there wasn't much difference between the first two turns that would cause a change of opinion about voting yet. Also if he was so angry about the first turn voting I would have expected him to blame and vote on PK like a lot of people did cuz he had started the vote first turn..instead he voted HH who hadn't really been that suspicious yet. Was very set on getting rid of burnt earlier just because she bought a gram...which she admitted to later and gave good reasons. If I had more time before closing I would go read the rest of his posts from the other turns to catch up on his actions but I don't have time and my previous notes and thoughts on him are telling me to be wary of him so I will be voting Drake[\color]. 3. My other vote will be PK[\color] because I can't shake a weird feeling about him. He has continuously striven for everyone voting and hasn't seemed to concerned with why or who but just for the sake of voting...I will post analysis of him and Drake next turn. Will RP if I have time... sorry don't know why my colors went crazy I am on a mobile device so trying to use code to change the color and it went wonky for some strange reason
  5. Haha sorry stink I will find something for you from my notes 10. @STINK you were the one who pointed out that Arinian not being "aware" of the Edema situation seemed fishy and I agree...so that's a point in favor of me trusting you lol
  6. I was busy with stuff in real life today sorry I'm not posting until now...I could have posted earlier but it wouldn't have been much and I wanted to do some analysis of the thread from this turn Okay so here are my thoughts after reading the thread: 1. Everyone seems very sure that a Aturan noble couldn't possibly have bought a gram unless they had a loan...but as an Aturan I can tell you that isn't true...after all of my tuition reductions last cycle I would have been rich enough to buy a gram if I wanted...I think that a bodyguard does make more sense to buy unless you really suspect that someone is going to off you soon...but even then, a bodyguard protects against at least one kill attempt so why buy a gram...unless you want to protect a fellow elim or you don't want them getting their hands on it...honestly I feel like burnt made a good point by saying she wanted to keep it away from the elims(we don't want them to have it). Also is there only one gram available in Imre per turn? @little wilson you said they were sold out...is there only one? 2. @Haelbarde you said that we could RP to get a tuition reduction rather than voting but there are more reasons than tuition fees to vote for people...I feel like with all that's been said and done in the thread now is as good a time as any to start voting on our suspicions...If I was an Elim I would want the villagers to hold off on voting for as many turns as possible while I silently sabotaged them one cycle at a time...just thought I should mention that thought to everyone...we should probably take the votes more seriously now. It shouldn't just be about tuition reductions anymore. 3. @Jondesu and @Arinian you both claimed to not have been paying attention when you were voting and didn't even look to see if you were voting on the rich or poor...when it was that early in the game I feel like you should have been more careful not to vote on an Edema...Everyone was saying in the thread that we should vote on the richer classes and yet you claim to not have even looked at the list before voting...that seems strange to me. 4. @Paranoid King why would you vote for Sart if he's already an Edema and staying on the streets? Just seems like overkill to me...unless you really want him gone for some reason? Also several people have claimed how they don't like that you are "throwing around" votes which I kinda get. You have seemed pretty flippant in who you choose to vote for. Not saying your evil...just that you're actions are something to consider. 5. @OrlokTsubodai I totally agree with your post about how we will eventually get info from going back through the thread once we actually do find a skindancer...I think we should focus more on discussing and voting our suspicions now because of this. Also you made a good point that the expulsions would inconvenience the elims more than the village because of the synergy they could have through their different talents on their teams. I would also like to point out that one of the win conditions for the skindancers is that they can win by bringing down all of the fields by becoming masters in them.. so shouldn't we be trying to get them expelled to keep them from being able to become masters? 6. @Cluny the Scourge I do agree that Randuir has been a VERY helpful villager and that does make me suspect him(mostly because some of the most helpful and talkative villagers in my last game were evil) but to be safe I wouldn't want to get rid of him in case he is good because I think we need him...he helps get us talking and he also helps us understand the game better. A smart and helpful villager is good to keep around but I also see the potential threat he could be if he's an elim...all things considered I'd say it's too early to really try and expell him but anyone wanting to spy on him or something might be a good call so we can know if he is on our side sooner than later. 7. I don't remember who posted this in the thread and I'm too tired at this point to go back and look through the thread for it but someone pointed out the fact that 40 votes is enough to expell someone outright. I think this is a good point for helping us to remember that we should try working together to expell really suspicious players... whenever we find any 8. @queensteph you mentioned that the skindancers might try to get rid of the richer students earlier than the poor cuz they are a good resource..I agree and not just because i am one of the rich lol. We should focus more on suspicion than rank. 9. Finally done for now! Sorry for the incredibly lengthy post! I hope it was helpful...honestly I hope it even makes sense...I'm really tired...and I'm not reading through this again before I post lol I will give more thoughts on who I suspect most and place my votes in a bit...need a break...Also will post RP later
  7. Okay just caught up on the thread...looks like a repeat of last time is there really no better way to vote on the first Term..ah well I suppose to help and since I am a noble and not staying at the pony right now...I will vote myself BrightnessRadiant if it will help everyone's chances ___________________________________________ It was the last day of the term. Everyone was really getting tense now. Maybe a trip to Imre was what everyone needed to give their minds a break. She felt like she was going to go insane from all of these notes she had been keeping on her fellow students for the whole term. Stupid Skindancers! Why weren't they easier to spot? She was tired of suspecting every student she passed, or sat by in class, or even tried to approach her. She wished for someone she could truly trust with her mission. She had been several times to see her brother Corrin, the master Archivest. He had tried giving her advice, but she had even begun to worry if he had become a skindancers! She was even worrying about her own brother!? She needed a break for sure. Imre, she decided was a very good idea.
  8. Not on its own to be sure, but definitely should still be taken seriously...it is a piece of the puzzle after all Haha maybe you're just one of those kinda people _____________________________________ Vote tally: (1) Burnt Spaghetti - Alvron (1) Hemalurgic Headshot - Drake Marshall (1) Wilson - Aonar _____________________________________ Not sure how I feel about voting this turn. Last time it seemed like most of the votes came in last minute. I want to vote for someone I suspect, but I don't have much to go on yet...hmmm. If we do nothing though...won't the Elims have a chance to cause another person to go crazy this turn? Maybe we should try and vote to see if we can stop them? I don't see how the vote is even helpful though...it won't tell us if we're right. I feel so helpless right now. Anyone have any ideas about what is the best step forward for the students this early in the game?
  9. Okay, so I've re-read through the thread for the whole game, and it's a lot to try and remember. Mostly it was clarifying of rules, advice on placing EP, arguing about a D1 vote, and then on turn 2 it has mostly been I told you so about the voting being a bad idea. Personally, I think we should start the discussion about how and who to vote on this turn. So far, only Wilson has a vote on her because she's safe at the golden pony for now. We need to talk about who we suspect, even if it's just a little. Discussion is the best way to get everyone's thoughts on what has happened so far. I've tried to analyze the thread for anything along these lines, but I haven't found much. So far all I've got are bad feelings about PK, HH, and Mage(Mage is probably evil after all ). @Paranoid King I know I said that I wouldn't suspect you of being evil just because you started the voting, but reading back through your posts I got the feeling that you didn't care too much about what would happen to the people who got voted on. Everyone was repeatedly stating good arguments in the thread about why we shouldn't vote on that turn, yet you never removed your votes, or even appeared to consider trying to see their point of view. When turn 2 began you said that you had seen those posts, and considered removing your votes, but that their were already too many other votes to stop it at that point. That could be true, but I still don't like how you said others would probably have voted anyways if you hadn't. It would have been a good idea to at least try to get a no vote going. These are all just theories, and I kinda feel like you weren't trying to make anything negative happen. I just thought I should voice my thoughts on anything I thought suspicious(however minuscule). @Hemalurgic_Headshot you said not to take the first turn too seriously, and then voted on someone without giving any reason other than tuition reduction, which you didn't really need because you're a noble. Why do you think we shouldn't have taken the first turn seriously? For my suspicions on Magestar...I kinda just have a weird feeling about him...so don't take this one too seriously for now. Does anyone else have any suspicions? Do you think we should vote on people on this turn? If we can freeze people's actions who we suspect of being skindancers wouldn't that be ideal instead of letting them send another person to the crockery this round? That is what happened to Silver, right? I assume it is since that was what happened in the right up, but could that have been merely for story purposes? There isn't any regular way to go insane yet, is there? Anyhoo, I guess that's all for now....RP in a bit.
  10. Oh snap you're right! I'm not at the pony right now but will be next cycle! @randuir you're a life saver So I suppose my post about voting on me freely will apply next cycle y'all!
  11. Amelia sat in the library, going over the myriad of notes she had gathered on the other students over the past month. It seemed like so long ago since the first mention of skindancers at the school. Everyone seemed to have moved on, simply dismissing the announcement as a tale to scare the new students. That, or they just didn't want to talk about it because they were really afraid, and suspicious of their fellow students. Kind of like me, Amelia thought. She knew the skindancers were real though. Corrin had personally told her the stories. They were probably just waiting to strike until the students had eased into a comfortable feeling of safety. She wouldn't be the one to let her guard down. "Did you here about Ryth?" "No. What happened?" "They say he went completely nutso. Had to be taken to the crockery." "What?! Really?" "Yeah, but honestly he never seemed that stable to begin with. I heard that he..." Amelia's ears perked up. Several students at a nearby table were whispering. She hadn't been listening intentionally, but had overheard part of their conversation. Had they just said something about Ryth....going insane? It seemed to early in the school year for someone to crack from dangerous studies. This was it. The skindancers were making their move, and she had better be ready. __________________________________________________________ Busy today. My sis is visiting today...so I won't be as active until later this evening. Okay, so the voting didn't go so well. That was why I hadn't wanted to vote on the first turn. But I suppose it could've been worse. @Paranoid King I won't berate you for starting the voting, considering you've had a good dose of that already. I didn't agree with the idea of voting on the first turn, but I'm not gonna say that you are definitely an Elim just because of that. It's not like we didn't learn anything from the first vote. It just wasn't ideal. I was disappointed by having some of my EP taken away, but that's life I suppose. I am also staying at the golden pony this turn if any of the Edema or Cealdish need a vote for tuition reduction. I would prefer that you not vote on me just for that, but that you would try to place a vote on someone you find suspicious. However, if you really can't find anyone suspicious, or just don't have time to catch up on the thread before the end of the cycle...feel free to place your vote on me. (of course if you think I'm suspicious, then you should vote for me too, right? ) I think we probably should start voting on every turn now that we have a lot more posts to analyze in the thread. Please just place your votes carefully. We don't want good students getting expelled by careless votes. I'll be back on later, once I've had a chance to analyze everyone's posts and see if there is anything real suspicious yet. Probably post more RP too.
  12. So everything I've ever watched or read is becoming a SE game in my mind now...I've been brainwashed for the better

  13. Okay so I haven't had time to catch up on the thread but from what I can tell we need more votes now that everyone decided to go that direction....I will vote Straw because he has no votes yet and will probably be safe enough...see y'all next turn
  14. Exactly...thank you for this great explanation. I won't be voting this turn for these reasons: It's not going to give us any information, and it will only hurt those who you vote for. You get an inflation of 1 jot on your tuition every time someone votes for you. And you are more likely to gather DP unnecessarily early in the game. If you get brought on the horns you will also get an inflation on your tuition(2 talents). Why bother with getting other students in trouble when there are other ways to lower your tuition without hurting a fellow student? you can use PMs (not too many), RP to your hearts content, also travel to Imre and go for your talent pipes, post game related info in the thread, etc. I just feel like using complaints on the first turn does more harm than good. Yeah I would vote too if everyone was going to, but I think it's better this way. What if I was offended? jk
  15. Okay so...still trying to figure out the workings of this particular game. Correct me if I'm wrong about anything, and please help me out with anything you see lacking in my analysis. Complaints seem to be a very tricky thing, especially for the first cycle when not many people have posted their thoughts and there isn't much to go on. It would seem less dangerous than the lynch votes in other games, but dangerous nonetheless. Especially for the students with less money, considering they won't be staying at the golden pony(which takes away 1DP). I feel like if we are going to add complaints on someone we probably shouldn't start with the poor unless we really suspect them (which probably won't happen on the first cycle) considering they would be more likely to get expelled. I know this point makes me a bigger target, but I'd rather get voted on if it meant protecting a fellow student. With these thoughts in mind, how would we act in the best interest of the students when it comes to complaints on the first cycle? I can't tell if it's worth the risk. Anyone have thoughts? Something else I wanted to point out.. I've read the posts were people have been talking about how many skindancers there probably are in this game and it made me curious. I actually resorted to doing the math! lol ...If in the last game there were 24 players and 4 skindancers then that gives a 1 in every 6 ratio. If there are 27 players now then to get a 1 in 6 ratio again we would need 4.5 skindancers(which is impossible of course lol). So I would presume that if they did raise the number of skindancers to balance out the 3 extra players then there would most likely be no more than 5 skindancers among us. That being said...I still wouldn't completely rule out the idea of 6 in case they thought that the students had an unfair advantage last game seeing as how they were the victors. This is just my theory, and it is based on my own thoughts and math skills(don't trust them too much lol). Does anyone have thoughts on this as well?
  16. Amelia woke with a start. She had just had a terrible dream. Her friends were dying around her on a battlefield, surrounded by traitorous soldiers with glowing eyes. Some of them had even looked like certain students she had seen around on campus. The nightmare was probably brought on by stress. After that address they had just been given by Chancellor Varda, everyone seemed to be in a state of panic. She was too, but for more than one reason. She had been waiting for so long to come to the university. Not because she lacked the money, but because of what had happened here years ago. Her brother, Corrin, had been a student at the time. Now he was a master, and on the board at the school. He had helped convince their family that it was safe enough for her to finally attend. But now? What would happen if her parents found out? They would pull her out of school, without a doubt. Amelia chewed, nervously, on her lower lip. What they don't know, won't hurt em, right? Perhaps the school would attempt to keep this quiet. She looked down at her new student packet filled with pamphlets about academics, lodging options, etc. The quicker we find these Skindancers, the less chance there is of my parents finding out, and my dreams being ruined. She had to do this, she decided. But where to start? @randuir great book selection Telar ...this could be the start of a great friendship! Even if you are a commoner lol Also thanks for doing the math for the votes...I hate doing math
  17. no worries! you made the right call as an elim cuz I knew a lot of info that would've been dangerous to y'all no...I want revenge
  18. *slow claps* well played elims...well played also kudos for the valiant effort made by the village on that last depressing cycle! I almost thought you were gonna get Aman which would have made me die happy lol well for a first game that was kinda discouraging, but it made me want to play another game to get a feeling of revenge lol on to LG33!
  19. I want to sign up too but I've never read this series....Hmmmm not sure if I could keep up...I just died in my other game so I guess I could give it a shot...*shrugs* whatever sign me up...I will go by Amelia in this game as well ..now to read the plethora of rules
  20. @Amanuensis @OrlokTsubodai @Jondesu we could really use more votes so the lynch doesn't end up tied
  21. So turns out I didn't get to post earlier like I said I might because I was SUPER busy on sunday and monday! Also, feeling pretty out of it so i hope my post still makes sense when I'm done I am sad that Ecthelion and PK were both killed last cycle...two more villagers gone! I feel like this cycle is aptly named, Tension, seeing as how everyone seems to be quite stressed in their posts I have to keep reminding myself as well that it's just a game, but I still care lol I wanted to let everyone know that, before Paranoid King died he told me that he was suspicious of Ornstein, Aman, Joe, and Elenion. He never got a chance to tell me why before he was killed. Maybe he got too close, or just unlucky that they targeted him. He was also an artist though, so he may have found out something important that they didn't want him sharing. I figured the other villagers should know this in case i'm the only one PK told. He had scanned me in the last cycle and said he thought i was a villager and knew my special, but i don't know if he shared that info with anyone. I also feel like the Elims have been too "lucky" with their seemingly informed village kills so far. They have gotten rid of one of our non rithmatists( very important to the village), and two of our duelists who could block the Elims actions and be notified of what actions they tried to take and they also got rid of PK who was an artist who might have seen something. Sounds to me like the Elims might have an artist or duelist (or both) of their own. I have been doing analysis on everyone that I suspect, and as I promised here are my thoughts on them... Seonid- Seonid accused Lopen of DA's death and asked him to reveal information that would have been very dangerous for Lopen as a villager. next, Seonid claims that we should lynch him to prove his innocence, which oddly seems to be a trend this cycle, considering that he is the third person to say that. I suspect at least one of the players who have said we would find them innocent by lynching them to be an Elim...Seonid, Joe, and Aman. It just seems like the kind of bluff an Elim would try to pull. Joe- Lopen told me that he was gonna ask the assassin to attack Joe last cycle. I suppose it could have been coincidence that Joe protected himself on that same cycle, or the assassin may have warned him if he was an Elim partner. I find this to be unlikely as i believe that the assassin role would more likely have been given to the village than the Elims. Also it does make sense that Joe would protect himself last cycle since suspicion of him was loudly proclaimed, so he could have been afraid of an attack. I haven't heard very many good reasons as to why people suspect him other than their guts lol, but I don't hear a lot of reasons not to suspect him either considering that I have very little info gathered about him that could persuade me one way or another. But i have a lot of info gathered on others and i trust them more than i trust Joe...which starts to narrow down my list of suspicious people, and sadly he is still on it for lack of village related info on him. Also, a lot of people that i feel are village are saying that they suspect him so it doesn't look good. Ornstein- just seems like a lurking creeper lol.... @Ornstein you haven't posted much but you did ask a question on one cycle which i took note of but couldn't tell if it was suspicious or an actual concern on your part....you asked if lines of making could show if the forgotten had killed someone...which could either mean you used a line of making on someone and came up empty handed which left you confused, or you were trying to find out if someone could have seen some action that you had taken. I kinda feel like you wouldn't have exposed yourself by asking that question if you were an Elim, but seriously, you should totally post more so we can trust you if you are a villager...your vote for Aman was completely unexplained. I am a little suspicious of Aman as well, but at least I am trying to give reasons for my votes and suspicions. If you don't want us to suspect you, you should probably speak up more. Jondesu- has been relatively active, but I'm very undecided on him which, at this point in the game, means that he is still not cleared as a suspect. Elenion- I am growing more suspicious of him based on info i have gathered from other players in PMs. He has been helpful to the village throughout the game, but i have a growing concern in my mind to whether he is actually on our side. I role claimed to him on the first day because I was a new player and unaware of the danger that could pose later in the game, but I am still alive so i can't help but feel a little less suspicious of him. Still PK was suspicious of him before he died, and Lopen is as well, so that doesn't bode well for him. I have gone back and forth on him so many times that I'm dizzy lol The people I trust are Lopen, HH, Frozen Mint, randuir, and possibly Orlok and Aman. (and of course, myself ) that makes 7 people i trust and 5 that i don't that's not very reassuring The reasons for my trusting these people are partly from PMs i've had, and partly from what they have posted throughout the game. I don't want to tell my actual reasons in the thread for fear of accidentally giving out information that would be dangerous for the Elims to know. Obviously, I trust Lopen though because he has been proven to be the non rithmatist by like 3 people who i trust. I suppose all that is left for me to do is vote. I know it probably doesn't sound like I have very many good reasons for my suspicions on the people I mentioned, but some of the reasons I suspect them are also because of PMs so sorry if my explanations sound a little thin. I will vote Joe because to me he seems to be the most likely Elim, and if he is than i think we will get a lot of beneficial information from his death. We're coming for you Elims...we aren't giving up yet! Don't forget to send in your actions this cycle! We can't afford to lose anyone to the inactive filter...unless you're an Elim, in which case you can go right ahead and forget what i said lol
  22. So sorry for not posting yesterday...i made the mistake of thinking i could wait till today because i was tired and not feeling too good either plus i guess i was just being lazy! then today i had church, came home and fell asleep. I woke up at 6 and was distressed to realize that i only had an hour to read everyone's posts and PMs and then figure out who to vote for based on that...again sorry and i will try to be more active from now on....i will be busy tomorrow all day but will try and post in the evening! So, I don't have much time for a long post seeing as how the cycle ends in less than 30 minutes but i will do my best under pressure... I didn't really know that much about Ecthelion because as others have pointed out he hasn't posted very often, but i feel there might be some sense to the accusations the others have made about him. seeing as how the cycle is ending in like 15 minutes now i don't see any way he isn't getting lynched anyway...i hope he isn't village but something is telling me we might have finally got an Elim. I hope everyone else is remembering to put in their lines! For fear of running out of time...i will post my viewpoints on everyone at the beginning of this next cycle if i get the chance.....assuming i don't die
  23. Welcome!!! One of my favorite books is Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson because it is full of action, comedy, and great characters! (Also don't eat that cookie!)
