Okay I don't think he is EXACTLY a Mistborn. I think something weird happened. Soon afterwards from his perspective he thinks there isn't any Mist. But I think he just can't see it from unconscious tin burning. That would be weird. I would think that unconscious tin burning would just sharpen things a bit. Maybe he is using the powers a bit without even burning metal.

I am not even sure Roshar will still exist after Stormlight 5 tbh.

Lost Metal Full Book Reactions (Cosmere Edition)

I am thinking of posterity. 100 years from now this forum won't exist and someone might pick up Alloy of Law out of Cosmere reading order, arrive at Lost Metal and be confused. -
Lost Metal Full Book Reactions (Cosmere Edition)
Storyspren replied to Chaos's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Okay random incomplete list of thoughts: Wayne... I cry. I hope he will return in in-world stories. So many answers and so many new questions. Now I have to reread all the WW books again. The pre-read isn't enough. Of course 1st the second read of LM then the all four post new book marathon reread. Wonder what Wayne is having his people steal from Wax. Does it feel to anyone else that even though this is supposedly the end of era 2, there is another era 2 book needed? The "how Roshar became United" story has got to be novella worthy. Right? Right? Also Wax's new powers not fully explained or explored. Who drained the bands? Why? When? Top suspects: Kelsier/Spook/Nightblood/Discord. Or where they just keyed to a person? Why are the off-world Ghostbloods so different? Wayne was so loved and worthy of love and didn't know it. AaaaahAether!!! So awesome!!! Steris's experience and skill in disaster preparedness could make her uniquely valuable in the Cosmere. Liked her more every book. Anyone else want an escape room of cool "find the metalborn trick to open this lock" things? Like "The Room" series if anyone remembers that. Wax and Wayne. We should have known from the beginning who would live beyond the last era 2 book and who wouldn't. The stamps!! OMG! I just... I just love all the crossover stuff. Even though I think perHAPS if I were not Cosmere aware I might be confused. I truly don't know. At some point Brandon may need to hire virgin readers. This book makes the previous three into part of a masterpiece. Fight me. I would have married Wayne in a heartbeat but now I can't. So sad. Fiction Shmiction. Wayne is my soulmate. -
I think you have to be right.

Seriously the normal vials at least. It is eyebrow raising. You wouldn't want to down the metals in combat without doing a test at least. Although holding the bands ...
-
We shall see!!! Gaaaaaaah!!!! I misremembered it as describing both the cork and the flakes inside that particular vial but nope!
-
The "visual distortions" and the seeing blue lines are mentioned distinctly, suggesting that Wax can now burn more than one metal. I expect the visual distortions are either gold/electrum/Atium type effects or bendalloy/the slow bubble metal. The red vial everyone thinks is Atium visually resembles Trellium too much not to have Trell's metal suspended in it. At midnight, we shall have our answers and new questions..... I wish I was Marasi right now!
-
So I was relistening to OG Mistborn recently and I noticed that Elend tells Vin that Atium production is down after an incident a few years ago. In context this can only mean when Kelsier escaped the pits, because the pits hadn't even been destroyed yet in the book. My question then becomes why did Kelsier's escape from the pits reduce Atium production? What really happened there? And is it on any way related to the "Survive" command?

Are we sure Trell is a Shard of Adolalsium?
Storyspren replied to Storyspren's topic in Cosmere Discussion
So no opposing force to Adonalsium. Thanks everybody! Nip it in the bud! -
I have been thinking that Adonalsium could only have been divided by itself, willingly. Or... there might be a force which apposes Adonalsium and all its shards. With Trell's metal repelling allomantic metals etc, I gotta wonder if Trell may be part of or aligned with an outside power, and not from autonomy after all. Has it been confirmed that Trell is related to Autonomy?

Thank. You. I was about ready to cry.

Am I doomed to never read the secret project books if I didn't do the kickstarter? I know we have books coming out every month for the next few month but... I want the world. The whole world. And so forth.

The whole planet seems weird to me honestly. As a planet. What kind of planet has a ginormous shallow lake? Magic or not. The horneater peaks are habitable for reasons that should make anyone scared to live there. Aren't they going to erupt one day? It's almost like the planet has a really thin crust in some places. Or a artificial layer under the crust.

I had a crazy idea on the latest reread through that maybe Shallan didn't kill her mother and instead her mother killed Shallan. And Shallan's crazy herald mother lightweaved herself so tight that she completely forgot who she was and became a tangible illusion of her daughter. So can someone please knock some sense into me. Thank you in advance.

Yeah I think the Heralds were the ten fools for agreeing to be tortured forever. And they each had their own foolish reasons for agreeing.

Stormfather theory - Stormlight 5 Prologue Spoilers
Storyspren replied to FieldSurgeon's topic in Stormlight Archive
The most persuasive point here is number 3. I really don't want it to be Kelsier. Going to do a complete reread of the series with Ishar/Kelsier/Nohadon in mind as Stormfaker potentials. -
Stormfather theory - Stormlight 5 Prologue Spoilers
Storyspren replied to FieldSurgeon's topic in Stormlight Archive
Gavilar literally says tell Thaidakar he is too late. And then the Stormfaker says like I didn't do it man. Meaning Thaidakar/Kelsier is the Stormfaker. I am sorry. -
I was today years old when I realized era 1 Koloss are basically giant toddlers wielding swords and are therefore way more terrifying than I thought. SMH
