Mac stopped chirping. They were here. He stepped out of the alley and walked up to where hellbent was. "Cheerio mate! Lovely evening to be out for a walk! Even if it is getting a bit late. Though I suppose that I should ask if you are on a walk before saying its a good evening for a walk. Oh well. I was never good at this nice guy thing. I'm here to say that you can't be hurting the city tonight. Sadly, I must be a hero and stop that from happening. You can still fight your fellow, but it has to be in a separate area."

btw, I forgot to mention this in the OP, but the current layout of the base is a Bar with a back room that we plan in. As we get more money i will expand it. Inside of the bar, a notice appears it reads:

This is a guild of thieves, like the title implies. We heist stuff, pickpocket people, con them, whatever. We are an all purpose thieves guild, stealing from those who have, and giving to each other. This guild is different than the other guilds in a few ways. The first, is that your character needs to have low investiture levels and shouldn't be all that powerful (In this context investiture also applies to anything remotely magical). Their primary skills should lie less with investiture and more in other areas. The second is kind of in conjunction with the first, but you need to make a new character for this guild. If you yourself have a problem with us heisting a specific guild, you can choose not to participate, but please don't actively oppose us. Another way this guild will be different, is that all of the members won't be involved at the same time. The way I envision it working will be, one guy comes up with a job, posts it in the thread, then anyone who wants in will signal in the thread, and they will be added to a PM where the actual planning of a heist will take place. I hope that this will minimize people dropping out mid heist due to IRL stuff and forcing us to change plans. As for the characters, I hope that we can have a variety of characters to sign up. Ideally we wouldn't have a bunch of con men sign up, because then we could only con people. @Archer here is another character.

Mac stepped back from the action, and walked quietly into an alley while thinking about how to make his disguise better. I mean, if someone could see through it from the inside of a fiend, then it definitely needs some improvement. Once hidden in the shadows of an alley he warped to a spot near the duel. Hidden in the shadows, he waited for the duel to start. After a few minutes, he decided to try something new. He took a needle sized spike from his suit, and placed it in his throat. He then proceeded to make chirping sounds like a cricket.

"I don't give a chull about their physical health. We can clone people whenever we need them. No, psychological stress is bad for the test subjects and can skew the results of the study. But anyway, we didn't come here to discuss science. I came to get you to get out of your machine, but y'all aren't listening. Oh well." Mac turned around and took a few steps back. Then he faced the machine, and warped the front half into the ocean, and the other half right above Dusk's main camp.

GASP HOW DID THEY SEE THROUGH MY DISGUISE! I need a better mustache. That was it. After recovering from the shock of being seen, he replied, "So what you are telling me, is that you are trying to fight a war in this city? Last time we fought a war, a nuke went off. Furthermore, the amount of test subjects innocent people that have been impacted is already too much. I will repeat my request one last time. Vacate the machine, or be destroyed."

A man in a cream suit stepped out of the alley and saw the fiend being contained by the bubble. He also noticed that it had a drill on the front, and would probably burrow into the ground and cause damage to the surrounding area. That's not good. In fact, that was probably why he was sent here. What should he do though? On one hand, he hated losing potential test subjects. On the other hand, saving peoples lives, and possibly being a hero was an absolutely horrid prospect. Thankfully, he didn't have to make the choice. He had his orders. Using the one power, he amplified his voice, so that those inside of the fiend could hear it. "I would like to inform you that the DA has taken notice of your presence in the city. I would also like to inform you that this is your chance to disembark from the vehicle and turn it over to us. If you do not comply with our request, we will be forced to destroy it forthwith. And believe me. We can destroy it."

Without warning, a portly man carrying a platter of sausages stepped out of the fog. “Hallo! It is I Franz! The friendly German sausage maker! Do you want a sausage?” He asks the man sitting looking into the fog.

For trying to join all the guilds in the alleyverse, and continually getting turned away. (I tried to say something that hadn't been said before)

I gotta agree with what voidus and snip have said. They are way stronger than you have been treating them. At least one of those guys would be a full inquisitor. You know, the ones that can use all the surges and are fullborn. They also aren't supposed to say stop. If someone found a secret DA lab, they are to spike on sight. To put this in perspective, a normal denizen should be able to go toe to toe with an era two character. Guards are stronger than that, and one couldn't just go up and fight them.

I really am sold on the idea of a harbor in the desert. Could we have one of those? Eventually?

Mac turned to face the new arrival. "That's good. If you already have a spike, the only thing left to do is set you up with a lab of your own in the alleys. As per the usual rules full members have a lab and a high quality set of ovens to bake all the goods that they could need. On that other wall there is a portal to the alleys. Ooh, and take this spike. I don't know what it does, but you can find out." He pulled a long silvery spike out of a jar of blood. "Though you might want to get a more visible spike, to show your allegiance better, just a word to the wise." Mac turned around to see the SWMD denizen walk in. "Im glad you've arrived, see the demonic entity of power over there? Yeah him. I need you to map his web." The Man paled, then quickly recovered as soon as he realized who it was. "Uhh sir, we can't map his spirit web. I don't think we have the power to take him down. However, that is Hellbent. He is already a member of the DA, and thus we have his web mapped." "Oh, hes already a member? I really should go to the corporate gatherings every once in a while. So many new people now a days." "Uh yes sir. That would help."
