And I am the Hearld of Uno, Singer of the North Winds, and Hallmark of Order, or at least I want to be. Nevermind that^ Very nice! I see you have developed a language. Or have you? Either way, I like the names. Your Guardians vaguely remind me of the LEGO Bionicle characters... I sympathize with Uno, even though their WinterSong will probably cast the whole world into a frozen eternity of monotony. upvotes

Mid-Range Game 21: The Battle for Nebrask
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Sart's topic in Sanderson Elimination
We are dropping like flies! And it appears my prediction was correct. Straw, Stick, and Silver were all Villagers. Well, Joe hasn't been cleared yet, so I suppose it isn't complete. Um, I don't know what to say.- 368 replies

No! You are definitely not a witch. Very much not so. Maybe I should have described the phenomenon as a torch-and-pitchfork mob. -

Mid-Range Game 21: The Battle for Nebrask
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Sart's topic in Sanderson Elimination
What Gunther saw, he could not say... but he saw something. The other thing was... Gunther couldn't speak. At least not for a sentence. When he did speak, it was booming a single word out over the next two miles. It was useful when he... stepped... into a room of fighting people to yell "STOP", but why would he want to step up to someone and blast "POODLE"? Horatio looked at the dead human. He looked very... sad? Perhaps it was because he was dead. The other dead human did not look as sad, rather stabbed. Horatio picked some chalk dust off himself. Now that the fight was over, he had no use for Squigly, Bob, and... what was that one called? Anyways, Gunther was too slow to bother to clean up after himself, so there was chalk all over. Horatio wandered over to the camp boundary. Beyond that barrier of protective chalk lurked hordes of vicious wild chalklings, hungry for... human flesh? Probably all flesh, since they don't have any. His reverie complete, he scampered over to Gunther and climbed up to his shoulder, Horatio's favorite spot. A real vantage point it was.- 368 replies

Mid-Range Game 21: The Battle for Nebrask
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Sart's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I just realized that in that post where I accepted Stick's defense that I typed "excepted". And furthermore, with discussion, I have a suspicion that the single Elim (wait, is there only on Elim? I might be confusing this with LG32, where there was only one Inquisitor to start) so far ( @Sart, when there is a conversion, will it be mentioned in the write up?) is not someone who is being accused, like Stick or Joe (of course, either could be the Elim, I don't know). A wise Elim would probably take a to-the-side approach until he/she gets an ally. Edit Again: Maybe someone like Ornstein or Paranoid King?- 368 replies

I just finished reading through that... maybe a bit faster than I would a textbook, but more slowly than I would an action scene in my favorite fantasy. Yes, it was a lot. As I read, there was this conflict; the informality of the letter, yet the eloquent formality of the language, combating each other in tone and feeling. I was slightly confused, and perhaps this was your intent, but it is something I would not do. The informality connected me to Void, but the often poetic-ness gave the feeling of something brought from ancient to new and translated halfway. It was profound and silly simultaneously. However, it was very interesting. It was like a Greek pantheon... lots of inter-familial "relationships". It was much different from your mysterious "In the beginning, there was Void" creation myth. I'm sure there will be a Great Library somewhere in your world, where you can put all of these myths. Then you can release them as separate novellas after you are a published author! Long Game (3)2: Pulling on Strings

Rae survived! So... is she a Thug or the Inquisitor? The Inquisitor does have UberPewter left, IIRC. The thing is, Rae voted on herself, and since UberP gives two extra lives (IIRC), there would be less worry about a self vote or a single lynch. She would still have another extra life left. I'm not sure how the role distribution went, but there are two Village Thugs dead, meaning there is the possibility that a Spiked Thug is out there. Rae could be that Spiked Thug. Or a Village Thug... but I'm leaning Spiked!Rae. -
Mid-Range Game 21: The Battle for Nebrask
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Sart's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I just finished reviewing the thread, paying particular attention to Straw and Silverblade's posts. Straw had a worse gut read that Silver, mainly because of short posts with little explanation. I would have liked more elaboration. I will vote Straw right now, even though that ties the lynch. I suggest that those who have not voted yet do so, so that the lynch isn't wasted, and at least you are participating enough to vote.- 368 replies

Okay Stick, defense excepted. Thank you for defending yourself. @Amanuensis, @randuir, do you want me to just vote on someone? I have waited so I can pull together something more significant than a random vote, but if you will pester me on it, then I'll just join a bandwagon.- 368 replies

Horatio poked at the slightly wriggling chalk blobs on his chest. "I'mgonnacallyouSquigly,andyouwillbeBob,andQubert... oohsoneactionlet'scheckitout!" He bounded towards a mass of chalkings at the head of the battle. Squigly vibrated. With a yell, Horatio leapt into the air with monkey fury and slammed down upon the enemy. Bob began to digest a chalkling. "MOTHEROFBANANASEATMYCHALKYOUPESTS!!!" Um, Neil, you might have an opening...- 368 replies

Mid-Range Game 21: The Battle for Nebrask
Hemalurgic Headshot replied to Sart's topic in Sanderson Elimination
It has been stressed that this is a game against time, and thus I very much support a D1 lynch. Normally, I would hang back to bring around a more solid suspicion with more evidence, but I feel that we can't afford to do that. Straw was accused for being brief and avoiding elaboration, which may be an Elim signal, but I'm not taking it seriously yet. Silverblade was accused for lurking, and that may also be an Elim signal, but yet again, I don't think it proves much right now. ^This is something worth noting. It is a gut read, but the thought process seems sound to me. Now, I will give benefit of the doubt some, because I have made suspicious wording before, when I was Village. But Stick is my greatest suspicion right now.- 368 replies
