So...that’s kinda bad. There’s like a 99% chance that the elims have an engineer of their own, unless a village engineer was banking on internal affairs putting someone in the brig first. Also, since everyone knows that I targeted the Aviary anyway, I may as well tell y’all what I got. I got the Kukupa twins. I haven’t decided who I’m gonna PM yet though.
-
Oh, I’m sorry. I saw your profile said you were on 8 hours ago and assumed you’d had time to actually visit the thread at some point. My bad. I really need to go to sleep now, so hopefully I can wake up to some good news tomorrow. EDIT: @Burnt Spaghetti I totally agree about feeling bad about Aman being a true inactive. Like, it’s been so long since we last played a game together and I was really looking forward to it. But, I really couldn’t find any other good reason to lynch anyone else. Besides just letting RNG decide.
-
I guess I should’ve explained myself better. My thought process was that Aman hasn’t been on for almost a week now (plus I haven’t seen him in the Discord either), so he’s like a true inactive. He could be an elim, and even if he isn’t, then at least we’ve already got rid of an inactive so the elims can’t save hospitalizing him for later. I’ll still be up for a few more minutes, so I’m down for changing my vote if you can tear apart my reasoning.

Okay, I did a quick vote count to see who I should vote on since I'll be going to sleep soon and probably won't wake up again until after rollover. Vote count: (1) Aman: Araris, (1) Lumgol: Lopen, (1) Xino: Drake, (1) Shanerockes: Elandera, So, assuming 3/4 elims, it seems pretty likely that there's at least one elim in there. I think Lum's the only player who has actually posted. I don't want to break the tie and end up lynching a villager, but I don't think anyone here has done anything that makes them deserving of getting lynched. And I don't want to vote on anyone not already up for lynch because nothing has really stood out as too fishy to me yet. Whelp, I'm not a huge fan of tied lynches, so I'm gonna vote on Aman because he hasn't even been on the Shard since the game's started. It's not the best reason, but it's the only one I've got. EDIT: Oh, I forgot to tag the others. @Lumgol @xinoehp512 @shanerockes care to explain why you've been on the Shard but haven't posted your thoughts on the game? EDIT2: Recently, in the case of Lum. (This is why you don't make posts when you're tired)

@BrightnessRadiant That’s an amazing birb!!!! Is this our first game together since I’ve gotten back? Probably. Anyway, what are your thoughts on the the dilemma of trappers and doctors visiting the hospital? Do you think there’s anyone that would make a good lynch instead of just letting the Gods of Luck and Chance decide?
-
I mean, you could be bringing up the possibility of a double bluff specifically because an elim probably wouldn't do that, but then that just leads into an insane cycle of IKYK's. So I'm gonna leave this alone and let you be, whether you're a villager or an elim pulling off a really good bluff.
-
So...theoretically, if only three people requested Aviar, and they all only requested Kukupa, they’d all get Kukupa?
-
I mean, that would certainly be a fun mechanic. I guess it could go either way with the way the rules are written right now. I guess now we just have to wait for Randuir to see my question.
-
Oh, I guess I thought that you could request a specific bird. The rules don’t specifically say that though, I think.... @Randuir Can you request for a specific bird? Also, if the holding area is sabotaged, do people who requested Aviars the same cycle the holding area is sabotaged get Aviars, or are they randomized between all the players? Oh, what happens if two people request the same Aviar?
-
Oh...well, that makes it harder to hide who the Trapper(s) and Doctor(s) are. Unless we do like Devotary suggested and have multiple people visit the hospital at a time, it looks like it'll be really easy to figure out who has those roles. I'd suggest that those roles save visiting the hospital until they're absolutely certain their target is village or elim, respectively.
-
Unless visitors to the hospital are announced in thread (@Randuir) or everyone besides the one visitor happen to post in the thread that cycle, I don't think this is that big of a problem. Granted, I wouldn't be that surprised if either of those things happened. That could make things very difficult. I think it'll probably get sabotaged pretty early. It would make sense for the elims to gather up all the Aviars in the first couple cycles, then sabotage the holding area so that none of the village can get any birds for the rest of the game.
-
Dang, I saw Devotary’s response when I had a bit of a break during work and was about to take my vote off before I had to go back to work. I should’ve just taken the extra minute it would’ve taken to remove my vote. Oh well. Anyway, good shot Alv. I have the day off tomorrow, so I’ll be able to go back through the thread and see if there’s anything I can get knowing that xino was a Forgotten.

Oh, I'll definitely not be around for rollover, so, uh...sorry Devotary if you get lynched.

I meant to add a character earlier, but I’ll go ahead and do that now since the game’s started. ~ First of the Dawn had grown up on the mainland for as long as he could remember. She’d always wondered what it would’ve been like to explore the Pantheon. However, ever since the death of her mother, she’d had no way to get back to the islands. So, when she’d been given the opportunity to work on a project that would take her back to the islands, she couldn’t pass it up.
-
Okay, sorry for the misunderstanding. That does actually make sense, though I’d say it isn’t that unlikely that one of the people who didn’t take an item D1 is in fact a Forgotten. Well, seeing as I’d have voted on Lum had you not already done so, I guess your random choice was a good one.

I’ll admit that I actually just completely forgot to put actions in for the past two cycles (I’ve already submitted my action for this cycle before I forget again). I had been thinking about grabbing the gun D1, which would’ve been fun, but I forgot to get back in before rollover to put the order in. N1 I was planning on grabbing a piece of chalk, but I forgot again. Anyway, I should probably do a reread of everything before I give more of my thoughts, but I’ll go ahead and give some quick thoughts on each player right now in case I don’t get back on later. StrikerEZ: Obviously village Devotary of Spontaneity: Something about her seems off in PMs. I can’t quite put my finger on it, though. Neutral, leaning elim. Xinoehp52: I literally have no idea what he could be, which seems to be my normal reaction to him at this point. Neutral. Butt Ad Venture: I haven’t been paying much attention to him, so neutral. Araris Valerian: It’d be pretty easy as an elim to put blame on people who didn’t take an item D1 and try to get them lynched...besides his most recent post, nothing’s really seemed off to me, so neutral. Cadmium Compounder: It’s ironic that he doesn’t trust me because of our PMs because they’re the main reason I trust him. Slight village. Lumgol: Something about our PMs feels off to me. I’d rather keep the details private because I don’t like to reveal info from PMs, but trust me when I say that they’re really odd. Slight elim. Ventyl: He’s been putting about the same amount of effort in thread as he has his past couple games, so he’s either a genius or he’s village again. Alvron: Alv is either super pocketing me in our PMs, or he’s actually trustworthy. Slight village. Shqueeves: I haven’t seen him say much, and I haven’t PM’d him yet, so neutral. Snipexe: Not quite sure why CadCom is voting on him honestly. I didn’t see anything weird with his posts, but that could just be because I hardly ever remember his posts right now. I guess if I had to vote right now, I’d vote on Devotary. I’d rather not vote on someone who already has a vote on them because I don’t want to start a bandwagon, otherwise I’d vote on Lum, and I think we should be putting more pressure on more people to provide content for the thread.

I mean, in my experience, they usually don't, but I guess there's always a chance they will. -

So, I just sent a message to my crush asking her out. She hasn't opened the snap yet, so I haven't seen her reaction yet. I guess I'll keep you guys updated once she responds. -
@Lumgol It might be best if you leave decision about whether or not you’ll be protecting the camp to yourself. That way, if you’re village, the elims will be less likely to roleblock you since they’d be uncertain if you actually performed an action or not. It’d be a much safer bet for them to attempt to find out the identity of one of CadCom’s or Xino’s contacts, who they know are (supposedly) submitting an action to do a LoW. As for myself, I will also leave my decision as to whether or not I will protect the camp ambiguous.

I'm so sorry I forgot to get back on the Shard today. It just completely slipped my mind, even though I wasn't as busy today as I thought I'd be. Anyway, I just finished getting caught up on what happened D1, and I'm not quite sure what to make of the lynch. I would think that, if one of the Forgotten had been in danger of being lynched, then there would've been more votes on another player to protect the Forgotten. Of course, the Forgotten also could've been trying to avoid suspicion by doing that. Or, we could've gotten really unlucky and happened to put 4 Rithmatists in danger of dying, so the Forgotten didn't even need to vote (or voted on one of the Rithmatists). Anyway, I still need to go familiarize myself with the rules again, as I'm not quite sure I understand everyone's discussions of the game mechanics yet.

Sorry, I was on my way back from Italy, and then I had to go visit my grandpa in the hospital. I’ll definitely need to reread these rules.

@Randuir I’m assuming it’s starting 12 PM Amsterdam time?

So, I reread The Rithmatist on the flight to Germany, and I’ve got a better idea for my RP character. Wardell walked through the camps surrounding the Tower of Nebrask. The chalklings were following him again. He couldn’t see them, but he knew they were there, in the shadows, watching him. He heard their whispers, calling him to the Tower. He found it harder and harder to avoid their siren call. Maybe he should leave the Tower...how long had it been since he’d finished his mandatory ten year service? Yet, he found himself yearning to go to the Line of Warding surrounding the Tower. Maybe this time the chalklings would finally take him....
