Sorry, but I really think we need to exe you here Myst. I appreciate the attempt, and I’ll reevaluate your thoughts after you flip, but I think this makes the most sense.

Also didn’t you literally tell me in PMs that TJ and Lettuce were on Scadrial when it gone blown up? And now you’re claiming they were on Sel? Or am I just misremembering info?

I have no idea what that Tineye message is going on about.

Anyway, I keep waffling on what I actually want to do here. I don’t know if I like that CadCom is voting Hoid here. But I also do completely see the idea behind it, assuming we think the MetaElims are going for a PseudoElim win here. But do we even think that? Who is we? Gah. This game is breaking my brain. I really thought I understood it before this started, but as time has gone on I’ve gotten more and more confused.

Does someone have a current VC?

I think I'm lost in the sauce. But I like the Myst exe. I keep flip-flopping on them. I do think TJ is right that we flip them now, before a potential MetaElim PseudoGM has the chance to change their PseudoRole to match the claim. If Myst flips Coinshot here, then we vote Myst out in the next MetaCycle. If they flip Lurcher, we vote out either Verdance or TJ in the next MetaCycle.

I think I'm fine not voting here myself because we have a two point lead (would take five Investiture to get Verdance exed over Myst, and for Reasons™ I am fairly confident no one has that much) on the Myst exe and I don't want to make it harder for us to exe who we want to in the next MetaCycle. Sorry Myst, but I think this makes the most sense here.

I can at least attest to the fact that, on PC1, Myst claimed to have a better use for their action than the one I was proposing. And I can confirm they were not on Scadrial, so it wasn’t the elim kill at least.

Araris doing that isn’t impossible. Us older folks do like to perform gambits and generally cause chaos. It would imply that things went poorly for them in PC1, though, if they were willing to perform a desperate play like that. So I don’t really buy it. At this point, I think Araris’s and Verdance’s alignments are opposite. Maybe they’re both villagers and one of them is confused about something, but I doubt that.

I’m fine leaving the vote where it is for now.

Okay, actually, just to make sure I don’t handicap us in the MetaGame: Verdance.

Damn. Rip Verdance, but you kind of fell for that hook, line, and sinker. The counterclaim to scanning Araris as clean is like, so just trying to lay confusion, it’s almost too perfect of an elim reaction. I say almost because I’m still fairly confident you’re elim.

Crazy idea: Myst and Hoid team

Yeah this kind of seems like Mippo just using a word without fully getting the meaning. Which is fair. There’s lots of confusing SE lingo. But yeah, this isn’t tunneling, at least not yet. It could turn into that if we start really getting into the argument and Araris just refuses to consider other viewpoints. But so far Araris has posted like…twice? Not really much room for him to be ignoring evidence.

Myst would be because I’m waffling back and forth on them. Coder would be for the sake of ensuring an exe actually happens this Cycle.

I think I would be down for an exe of any of these options: Coder, Myst, Hoid, or coco. I have things I feel about each of them that would be nice to get confirmed.

It's a possibility, obviously, but it's one we're kind of ruling out right now.

Just want to point out that the role that destroys Shardworlds is called Spiked, not Shard.

I also think you're thinking about this too hard, Myst. Just because a PseudoElim got blocked because of the destruction of their Shardworld doesn't mean that they're also a MetaElim. There could've been a rogue MetaVillage Spiked who happened to be on Scadrial and destroyed it because they feared the ability to steal other players' roles.

Oh I didn't even make that connection. That changes my opinion on things, assuming the kill wasn't blocked by a lurch or Thug extra life. @The Unknown Medallion Would we have been told if someone was attacked but survived due to protection or an extra life?

I didn't like the idea of a returning player going down so soon and without a fight. I think I mentioned this in my PM to @coco.pudding at some point. I also didn't like the idea of a Hoid Slayer exe as he's also a returning player, but at least with him in the tie it would have been a 50-50 shot that Coder got to live. 

Anyway, I was definitely much too hasty with that Myst vote, sorry.

So I feel like it's probably fair to say that the MetaElims have a PseudoIM, right? That feels like a safe assumption to me.

Hmmm. There hasn’t been much actual vote discussion yet. As I’m typing this, the spreadsheet says that there is currently a tie between Hoid and Coder for two votes each. I’m fine leaving that as a tie for now to see how things shake out over the next 10.5 hours or so. I just thought it would be worth it to inform people what the current state of things is since things are weird with the spreadsheet.

Also, here’s the list of people who each have one vote: CadCom, coco, Qian, Mippo, TwinStorm.
