    Ah alright, clever. Like if you don't prune or cut back your garden. I figured Incarceration works as maintaining the same thing for negative reasons. As for a world... we know how access to a magic system is obtained depends on Intent of the Shard or Shards so maybe users need to be trapped against their will? Or perhaps they have to want to do that to others.

    I imagine it depends on the spren type. Cryptics seemed less emotional about their bonding (more of a test/obligation) while Syl decided to go against orders and bond.

    I checked Coppermind's Listener page and the only form described as having hair was nimbleform but the "Voidbringers" were described as having bulky frames so I'd say it's a new form. Edit: This was meant to be in response to a post mentioning form but new messages came in, in the event it seems out of context.
