The dreaded new player card... I'll still treat you as if you are a master of SE, as, at the very least, I won't underestimate you.- 352 replies

Long Game 42: Master of the House
Droughtbringer replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Why don't lynch me? Because I'm no threat to you. If I'm still alive then nothing bad happens to you. So what if you don't agree to my plan? Then dont follow it. It doesn't hurt you, because by the time that I'll have it set up just within my house every other house will probably be set up to win. Use your votes on actually winning the game, not killing someone who isn't a threat to you. No lynch- 352 replies

Long Game 42: Master of the House
Droughtbringer replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
There was a game LG37, in which I was attempting to cause everyone to tie. It would have been fun... but two people opposed my will and made this not happen. (I won't name names) but this game presents the chance for something even greater, a game where everyone wins.- 352 replies

As long as we have two people in each house, and 3 in one other then we can take the game hostage and force it to happen over the course of many months.- 352 replies

Long Game 42: Master of the House
Droughtbringer replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I have a dream that one day this community will rise up, live out the opposite meaning of its creed; “Elimination” I have a dream that one day on this Shard, the other characters who all died, their players can be free to win together. I have a dream that together, we can make a game where no one loses. That day, that game, can be this one. According to the rules, it is possible to turn everyone into a Kandra, if you are willing to work with me. Once everyone is a Kandra we can all win together, a game where there are no deaths, and losses. SE-ers, join with me! Work with me, and together, we can make this dream a reality! Together we can make a game where no one loses! Join with me, I beg of thee!- 352 replies

@TheMightyLopen you now have competition. Good luck Also, welcome, Lopen Two (See what I did there? :P)! Tis a pleasure to have you joining us!

I thought that too! It also had OB spoilers and I was slightly confused... And OB plague? Hmmm...

Welcome to the Shard! Tis great to have you, As for Warbreaker: there are some... interesting scenes, but it never gets too bad. I am a fairly sensitive soul, and as soon as I was like "Maybe I should put this down" it didn't get worse, and the scene ended pretty fast. I'd suggest giving it a read, and enjoying it, it is one of my favorite magic systems, has fun characters, and is Sanderson. So read it

I do not have an ebook to lend, sadly, but I do want to see your finished project. Please post it somewhere on the shard!

Why are all Recreance-era Shardweapons blades?
Droughtbringer replied to Vissy's question in Cosmere Q&A
Well, Take a look at this WoB: https://wob.coppermind.net/events/216-jordancon-2014/#e6446 The form of the Sprenblades were designed after the Honorblades, so they naturally revert to the sword form when the bond is broken. So even though a Radiant may use it in a different form, the base form is the blade.- 17 replies

There are a set of incorrectly saves WoB's that are scattered across the archive. They are incorrectly spaced, and function weird with things that collect P tags. (Don't ask me what these are, I have no idea :P) The incorrect ones can be seen by the weird spacing, like this: https://wob.coppermind.net/events/60-firefight-san-francisco-signing/#e6675 The first, blue one, is spaced weird (#35) whereas the second, white one, is spaced correctly (#36). If you find one that is incorrect please post a link here, so that the admins can (eventually) fix them. Grab the link, give a brief summary here (so it is easier to make sure it's not a double post) and post it. This should help the admins find them, Thank you! @Chaos Links Master List (Will edit with more posts in topic):

Quick Fix Game 29: Passionate Rationalism
Droughtbringer replied to TheMightyLopen's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Just RP whatever you are doing in real life, should be a blast to enjoy. Lopen was sitting down, furiously attempting to come up with something to write. Everyone was expecting the next part of his saga about murders, and the attempted way to solve him, but he just couldn't find the words. The person that he had helping him with his last book was busy being a character in this one, so no help from there. Lopen decided that he needed some way to encourage himself to do a better writeup, so naturally he put himself into the story so that he could risk killing himself which was not fun. The only problem with this, was that Lopen of Storyville and Lopen of Writership were two very different people. And one of them wanted the other one dead. So, naturally, he voted to kill off the Author. TheMightyLopen. Luckily, his character attempting to kill him, before it even became part of the story, affected the begging of the story, and allowed Lopen to begin to write, and he wrote a half decent begging part of the story. Yay!
