  1. I'm assuming a maximum of 2 lives at once, as last game there was a plot that involved a lot of extra lives on a lot of people. Had those (blessed) Eliminators not acted when they did, Survival would have been practically guaranteed a victory, just due to extra lives. (I'm not biased to the eliminators that game, at all)
  2. What message are we not mentioning to anyone else? I wasn't completely sure
  3. Putting extra emphasis on the space between sentences, to improve ease of reading.
  4. Do we know you at all? Or have you just wasted spent that much of your life on reading through the old thread?
  5. "" or ":P" has become part of my everyday language while typing... because of you people *Looks at everyone*
  6. @Orlok Tsubodai I am curious, did you think that I would betray you? Or did you just want to be the only one to win in the house?
  7. As much as I would like to play with some random person that I don't know... (it would actually be fun, don't read that as sarcastic :P) if you can't invest the time probably don't play. As the mods have been cracking down on inactivity recently. That being said, if you do have the time, I'd love to play with you! Edit: @Young Bard I also agree that Philepe De Pedro Von Leiderhuch Johnson III, must have been at least slightly confused with Philepe De Pedro Von Leiderhuch Johnson III, as Philepe De Pedro Von Leiderhuch Johnson III obviously didn't notice that Philepe De Pedro Von Leiderhuch Johnson III had just broken the rule that Philepe De Pedro Von Leiderhuch Johnson III had just set. I see this as being a problem for Philepe De Pedro Von Leiderhuch Johnson III who may get tired as constantly referring to Philepe De Pedro Von Leiderhuch Johnson III as Philepe De Pedro Von Leiderhuch Johnson III, no matter the situation. Good luck, Philepe De Pedro Von Leiderhuch Johnson III, I wish Philepe De Pedro Von Leiderhuch Johnson III well.
  8. I'd argue against that. Your goal should be playing for whatever faction you are currently a part of, if everyone were to play as if they were already part of the Chosen/Harmony then there is no chance that the 17th would win, as they would all already be playing as if they are not part of the 17th. You may want to be converted, but, up until the moment that you are actually converted, I believe that you should play as if you were always going to be part of the faction you are currently a part of. The other problem with playing as you want to get converted, is that you might play as if you are going to be converted, then never be converted and end up having just worked against yourself. As a player with a conversion, if there is a player already being useful to me and my faction, then I would rather just not convert them, and use them to further my goals without wasting a conversion on them.
  9. I'd say that Pre-game strats are the best! Getting ideas out now help decide the tone of the game, before we start playing. @TheYoungPyromancer I'd say that we should treat this mostly as a faction game, as there are going to be a lot of factions by the end of this, I would assume. I'm thinking that we will have one of Odium, one of Ruin, (As those shards are unlikely to be passed), as well as Khriss and Hoid being factions as well. This also leaves the village. As for freeing shards: I don't think it is entirely in the village's best interest to start off wanting to free shards. If most of the village/17th decides to no free shards then we will gain an advantage in the early stages of the game, and could get lucky and Kill off the Hoid and Khriss before the shards are released, and end up getting an early win. Once the first shard is pulled out of containment, then I think it would be wise for the village to start going after them, in full force.
  10. I mean, I started LG29, which was more than interesting. It was FUN! That's how I read it, and Welcome to the game!
  11. I'm in. Also, PMs without the GMs? Sign me up! I'll have fun with this game
  12. Actually, as a throw back to LG29, I'd like to switch my name to Ralar.
  13. That was ridiculously Fun, if you get a chance to read the dead doc I would highly suggest it.
  14. I'm ecstatic for this game! Sign me up as Siran.
  15. And the stuff I shared wasn't? I'm calm because I had already prepared for Shqueeves to start to counter me as a last ditch effort. I spent time planning this out to try and give us the best chance of getting rid of an Elim as possible. And Shqueeves would have known about the Worldhopper, as it was in the base game rules. Beyond that, anyone who played in the AG who is also on his team would have been able to just tell him what to call it, and it would have worked out. I had no idea how closely to the Worldhopper Shqueeves role actually was (supposed) to be. As it was possible for the Worldhopper to get the same role twice. Beyond that, the link to the dead doc never changed, and Drake could have made the ruling that he could watch the doc just not say anything. It was not worth taking the risk. This was my (apparently poor) summary of what I was being told in the Dead doc. Sorry for not being good enough. Again, all that it takes is for one person to be familiar with one role in any of the AGs, as the Mistborn role in prior ones functioned exactly the same. It dates back to LG1 this sight, it's not like it's something new. I just... I'm sorry I didn't speak for the dead well enough, guys. Guess I'll see you all during the post game stuff, tommorow, if our guesses are right. I just wish I could have done more for you. Goodnight everyone, and may the odds be ever in the Village favour.
  16. He just typed his first thing (which proves that he has access), asking for ways to confirm he is innocent. So why did you create a fake role at all, @Shqueeves
  17. I still have yet to receive word on if Shqueeves can view the doc, but not talk in it, or if he just literally can't view it. (The URL has not changed, so it is plausible that he is still allowed to view it as a Returned). So it will let us know if, at the very least, that we can view the doc, but it probably won't mean anything more than that.
  18. Well Rand and I talked about Dungeons and Dragons for a bit, (and talked about what the best edition is), talked about some confirmation stuff, and got word from Mods that something that Len had me do, we couldn't do according to the rules. (We wondered if we could, so that is why my first post has redacted stuff in it now) Then Rand left, (to go play D&D) and I put down some thoughts. After that Lopen showed up, just recently actually, and gave out his reads. So far he said he had a bad gut read on me, but thought that my posts canceled that out. He suspects Shqueeves, and thinks that we can not both be elims, (unless some sever bussing is going on) so we should lynch Shqueeves. He also points out that Arinian and I are either both villagers or one of us is an elim, but probably not both, due to our first set of posts going back and forth. Lopen has village reads on :Drought(me), Monster, and Joe. Elim reads on: Arinian, Shqueeves, and Devotary And everyone else is fairly neutral for him, with a slight village lean on BR, due to getting villager-y vibes from her. I didn't like the way that he was tunneling in on me, and on one post of mine. So I put a vote there, in response and also because focusing on one thing and blowing it up seemed fairly elim-y to me.
  19. @RippleGylf Len focused mostly on this quote And the false dichotomy within it, and how it was used to focus on on Shqueeves and day he has to be one of the other, not both. Len points out that this was probably used as a distancing technique, as someone would call you out on it (which no one ended up doing) or you could point it out yourself, while distancing yourself from Elim!Shqueeves, and not having to worry about having a vote you can't retract. I couldn't actually find why it said to lynch you without an Elim!Shqueeves, so I probably just ended up saying it in my rush to get the post up before Shqueeves could take the same info and twist it to use it against me. Sorry about that.
  20. I'm not claiming to be the Returned! You are! And yes. I pointed out that Len couldn't find you in a doc, but he compared you to the thread, and your tendency to not capitalize names. Joe: Other Awakeners: only one other, who I'm decently certain is an Elim. Did you miss it? Yes. Here. Returned/Worldhopper: ah. Sorry for the confusion. They originally claimed that there role was like a Worldhopper from the AG. Later they claimed that they were actually a Returned. So part of it was that giving the role to the players would give players the ability to figure out who targeted who, as well as talk with everyone who has died that info. You create a closed loop that you don't have to worry much about for information gathering. (I will note that I have now read the rules to be less confused while trying to convey the dead's thoughts.) And has no fear of having to find and trust an Awakener, find and trust a... Sentry, and then find a captain to help with the lynch, as, if they play it carefully, will be able to do it all themself. The biggest was tone and lack of capitalization on some names. 3rd and 5th, so far.
  21. Yes. Also, who is your contact? I've been under the impression that it is you. And that you've just been calling yourself a contact. The only other person talking in the doc, besides the dead and me, is the Returned. That is not at all what they said. I stand by what I said before. They didn't match anything in docs that you have said, as you haven't been in docs as far as we can see, but Len pointed out the way you tend not to capitalize names, like "drought" in the next quote. I think that, at this point, if your contact is not just you, that they are lying to you. If it is not you, then please let us know so we can switch our focus to them instead of you. Although you may not be lying, you are being lied to, at the very least. Please either tell us your contact, or own up to your lies. (I don't expect you to own up to your lies, as if you're lying then you are most likely an Elim, or some from of a secret role)
  22. Okay, I have some stuff from Len to prove that I am actually in contact with him. He has given me a list of bullet points to summarize to prove that he is, in fact, Len 1. I am Elenion 2. To prove that Shqueeves is evil, I will prove that I am, in fact, Village Len from the dead doc. 3. [Redacted, possibly accidentally broke the rules of SE] 4. This cycle the village must try to kill Shqueeves, as, according to Len's calculations, if we do not get rid of him, or another elim (but Shqueeves is the only guaranteed one at this point) 5. It is possible that Shqueeves rolled Vote Manip this cycle, which could allow them to tie the vote, but it would reveal all of the elims. He either rolled Vote Manip or whatever Sentry is. If he did not have Vote manip this cycle, and we keep him alive, and he is there to use it at a later date, it could throw the game in favor of the elims. 6. It is possible that I will die for passing this info along, as the elims might chose to finally use their kill, so I'll be sure to pass out more of Len's reads: Elim: Shqueeves (confirmed, lynch first), Ripple (Next biggest suspicion), and Devotary (only iffy, lynch last) Village: Joe, Drought, Arinian And two from BR, Ecth, and Monster After we take Shqueeves out we should have enough information to get a good read on the rest of everyone else, as the elims are likely to defend him. If Shqueeves is Elim, like we know him to be, then we lynch Ripple next, and Devotary after that. If we take Shqueeves out and he somehow does not turn elim, then we need to lynch Ripple next. A few villagers might defend Shqueeves, because they are skeptical, so we need to be careful who we decide to lynch. To find elims we should look at who has not voted on him much, and who also defends him from accusations. At this point, the elims might not defend him, and just count him as an acceptable loss. @Ecthelion III [redacted] @Shqueeves (not letting me tag) what say you about this? As for other Awakeners, as far as I know there is just me, and the kinda-Awakener Shqueeves. It is possible that someone has just been watching the doc silently. Roleblocks: 1. Rand 2. Len 3. Joe 4. Coop 5. Ecth 6. Hasn't happened yet
