  1. Yitzi. Strong gut read, I don't really like Aman lynch, he's seemed to be very helpful. Sure, it could be an elim playing people, but getting people to be more active is generally accepted to be beneficial for the village. I read Flash village too, he seemed honest confusion and analysis. Lopen I don't have a hard read on, but leaning slightly village. He could be doing fluffier posts to stay under the radar, so I'll keep an eye on him as the game moves on. I want another option for this lynch to keep the discussion going. I'll look back at what Yitzi has said to defend my post or to change it if my read changes. Also the Asterion lynch, can people please explain more?
  2. Just finished reading day one. My head now hurts. Straw: Suspicious He could have just been defending himself, but he jumped on the joe counterbandwagon fast. Played off against different people in a number of posts. Aman: Village: generally helpful, getting people to post and generating dicussion Randuir: Village who did honest analysis yet got caught in firestorm of saying something controversial. I don't see any grand plots to turn the neutrals against the village, all I see is some logical analysis with pro's and con's. The vote on Joe I disagree with, but I still think he's village. Joe: He did get the Jondesu vote to happen...but it does follow his model for Chaos. Yitzi, why have you been posting so much this night phase/why didn't you post much comparably at the end of day 1? Stink: Doing stink thinks. Orlock: Why did you defend Randuir when he is arguing that neutrals should be potential lynch targets?
  3. I'm quite aware Yitzi2, however, last time I tried to post analysis it got me immediately lynched. So suffice to say I'm still a little irritated. I've read through the night phase, but not to much to say for it. Isn't worth putting out a massive list of analysis on everyone like Flash and Randuir have put out. Not enough to say. Will point out that Wilson and some others have been critiquing Randuirs aggressive perspective on neutrals. I disagree with the logic of treating them as enemies. However, I get the perspective and have a mild village read on Randuir, it's honest analysis and seems reasonably logical to me. Also, I'm moving right now, getting settled in at new place and new job tonight. So I'm probs not going to get to much more analysis.
  4. First, congrats on all the analysis. Although I'm not sure if your read on Lopen is because you hope he's village? Or just a gut read? I also disagree that I'm inactive, the word you are looking for is "lurking," which despite the generally negative connotations I'm still thinking of what to add. I'm afraid I haven't read throught all the day one stuff, I'm working my way through the night phase first.
  5. Heh, there needs be no explanation where Stink is involved. I'm mainly posting to say that I'm here and watching. It's in the interests of the village for nuetrals not to role claim. If the infiltraters don't know who is neutral versus good, they can't target us. What stops the neutrals from claiming in order to avoid being targeted by either side?
  6. Thank you good sir! My apologies for a lack of thorough reading of the rules. Heres some thoughts: trying to treat this like a logic game and make some generalizations based on day 2 posts. Jondesu/Flash<-->Cluny--> The only possible pair of evil people in this group could be Jondesu and Flash. Any combination with Cluny would be illogical to put a vote on so early and risk a bandwagon on their own member. Lopen also defended Cluny and questioned or was "suspicious of flash." With very few votes out there, this makes it less likely that Lopen/Flash would both be elim's. Furthermore, because Jondesu and Flash voted together, this suspicion could overflow to Jondesu, so Lopen/Jondesu aren't both elim's. BrightnessRadiant is village in my mind, because of An evil doc would have discussion of different roles which would probably include the use of a seeker. Or in general an examination of the rules and how not to get seekered. Flash: Mild village read, agree with Lopen on the gut call. I sorta agree with Lopen with the vote on Stick. Calling on people to post more and suggesting they will be targeted is a pretty neutral but generally positive role to play. Sure, it benefits the village a little if I and Droughtbringer post more, but it's still an easy part to play.
  7. Sorry guys, my computer spontaneously fried itself, it looks like I'll be borrowing families for the rest of the time, that combined with finishing up farmwork/spraying/replanting because of all this dang rang has kept me offline. I promise to be more involved @Lopen @Jondesu What has been so suspicious about Cluny's posts? (I'm still working my way back through the past couple of days). I agree with Lopen, looking through day one at PK's death is about the only information we have (losing a seeker is rough, I doubt they knew, but if the Venture's have a mistborn/seeker they could have gotten lucky).
  8. Hmmmph. All these younglings thought they knew something. More like a bunch of overzealous fools. The overeager always got picked off first, the lazy ones never accomplished anything. The secret was being right in the middle, and watching...patiently and attentively.
  9. I am Sorren Karidor. I've been patrolling these grounds since before most of you whippersnappers were born. Count me in!
  10. Why kill inactive right now? It gives us no information. Even if we're shooting in the dark, we can start to establish patterns and sort through info. Sure, it isn't the best, but it's better than nothing. Also, this bandwagon has started way to fast. The use of argument against vote manip's isn't legitimate b/c we have no reason to believe Sparticus is evil.
  11. So, in my short and limited understanding of the current conflict. Considering Ecthellion is central to the current discussion (Aralis attacking Elenion in reference to Ecthellion), I will put a vote on Drake.
  12. I have come, comrades! Where I come from, my people call me Lebochevkowski, but for some reason, many I have met find that difficult to pronounce. Thus, I give you all permission to call me Leb. (Joining!)
  13. You know there is a simple solution to that problem, just stop trying to kill me :p. But regardless, my days are limited. This will likely be my last post. So a couple of things left to resolve. 1st: @Wonko the Sane and @Elbereth, I agree with your general premise, and believe that my actions in previous games have not constituted a level of accepted beneficial activity to aid an SE game. However, I still strongly disagree with the concept that activity for the sake of activity is good. (activity for the sake of activity may be better then inactivity for the sake of inactivity). Regardless, I do not believe that this is the best arena or time to discuss it considering the politicization of anything I say, so hopefully in a future game. 2nd: @Herowannabe and @little wilson I am a rioter this round. Perhaps that will convince you to put more votes on me to ensure my death. Perhaps that would be for the best. Regardless, I will not contest my own lynch. It's similar perhaps to Harambe in LG 29, as long as I survive the conversation will be focused on me. Even if I managed to survive the lynch through some miracle, I will not be trusted. There's no easy way to verify my alignment (without tin, with spiked smokers, and with no knowledge of how many seekers/mistborn who could be seekers we have, not to mention its futile to seek someone under so much suspicion). There's simply no alternative upon who to focus, and even if I presented one, who would believe me? Dalinar.
  14. Reginald snuck into Remart's bedroom, wincing slightly as his wrapped ribs groaned in protest. Bother, why'd he steal Kipper's mattress? Wasn't very comfortable at all. Now if he'd stolen Remart's he would've been right as rain (though, that did provoke an important question. Was rain really right? If so in what way? Bother. He wished he had more time to ponder all these mysteries, but at last, his fellow citizens seemed determined to see him offed. Probably wanted the treasure he'd been collecting over the past twenty years, or maybe just to burn the manifesto he'd been preparing. Regardless, that was why he had to enact The Plan. He made sure to toss a few coins at drought every time he passed by (usually picked up from Sothe who just couldn't keep a hold of them for some reason. Seriously, it was like taking candy from a baby.) So when he'd passed Drought had seen fit to inform him Remart was on a nighttime walk. He took a bite out of the chicken leg before stuffing it into one of his coats multitude of pockets. MREOW!! the cat roared, viciously objecting to the chicken leg which had been stuffed on top of it. "Whoops," Dalinar muttered, before moving it to a different pocket. He replaced the chicken leg with some pastries of Joe's before continuing his search. Now, where was that butter?
  15. But I've just told you I won't die...meaning this lynch will provide us with no information... Well, now that's just contradictory to your earlier point. You argued that a revealed mist born isn't much use to the village so I mind as well die, equally I should have revealed myself earlier, thus, according to your logic, ensuring I was not very useful and more likely to die. I was hoping the bandwagon would peter out, thus allowing me to conserve the fact that I am mistborn. Your logic for why they would do so much to protect me also isn't an argument for the lynch. If I was a villager, they would protect me, if I was an elim they protect me. Either way it's in their benifit to protect me. Yes, the village gains a little bit of information, but we equally lose information b/c we A: Tunnel, (ie people saying sure, I'll just throw a vote on Dalinar because everyone else is), and B: from no successful lynches or suprrises which might catch elim's and give us more info.
  16. I don't really have a choice. Tell me the truth. If I chose to not reveal what I was, would I not be lynched tommorow after surviving the lynch? I don't get that logic at all. The longer the village keeps trying to kill me and I survive, the more likely I am to die, (ie. Harambe in LG 29). The Only Joe. Lopen.
  17. I believe the tally has me at five votes at the moment? *sigh* I didn't want to do this b/c it means even if I escape the lynch I'm dead, but I'm a mistborn. Last night I drew copper, this night I drew pewter...Even if you lynch me I won't die. So just don't be surprised. My main four thoughts are Hero, Lopen, and Stick, and The Only Joe. Hero: has been very persistent in getting me killed (of course, this logic may be biased), but it seems very much like tunneling and a way to keep the village distracted. Lopen: Sorta just been bandwagony all game (I expressed my concerns last day about him). Stick: Last day he was pretty insistent about Wilson being evil. Then we got a confirmed warning that if Ecthileon dies we should kill stick. That seems like a reasonably powerful and certifiable logic to follow. He's probably my second choice. The Only Joe: Switching the vote last minute from HH to me in the last twenty minutes changed the entire course of the lynch. Yes he may have had a legitimate reason to do it, but it's still really suspicious. Thus for the moment, The Only Joe. Also we haven't heard from you today. I'm fine with being lynched today, but just understand it won't accomplish anything.
  18. I voted on HH, and then saw your idea for voting on Wonko, I considered it a solid alternative, but then he posted in the forum, meaning I wasn't going to vote on him for inactivity any more. (I was still writing and finishing the post for voting on HH, though I had received your pm I had not read it. Then, as I prepared to respond, Wonko posted, changing the situation).
  19. No, I am not a lurcher. And why do you offer up an explanation when you have already given us the answer? I already explained in my post last night what would happen. From a strategic perspective, why would the elim's protect anyone who isn't me? (that's a serious question, please, if anyone has a better answer, then tell me). It's in there best interests to keep the discussion as focused as possible on me being evil to waste our lynches (both day and night cycle) and our time therewithin. See above, you don't need to believe it, I just reserve the right to say I told you so . Btw you did tell us so...but we were screwed anyways. Yes, I am not a lurcher. Sorry about that, your suspicions are entirely fair. Although I will take your cats. I like cats. I would like to point out my post from last night, which I have not heard a credible refutation for about why I would have tried to pm you and tie the vote if I knew my elim team could just save me (ignoring the 4-3 part because it is ridiculous to presume that Ecthelion being a soother would come into the equation). Finally, why is no one talking about the people who threw the vote into chaos last minute? Wonko only came on for the last minutes of the lynch. Joe came in last minute too. At the very least, if you're going to kill me, accept that, vote to lynch me, and focus discussion on something with utility for the village in the long term. Reginald fled to his cellar to escape the rumbling crowd. It was twice, in the past two days that he had nearly died. First, to the angry crowd, second to his pursuer. It chilled his blood, to think one of his fellows, controlled by this mysterious Ruin fellow, or worse, *he shuddered*, out of their own volition, would want him dead. Sure, he stole stuff. Thiefs weren't popular, he was used to being roughed up at the local bar and given suspicious looks in public, but this? This was something different. He pulled the stopper out of the bottle of brandy from Aralis's cellar. Bother, it was half empty. Well, it'd have to do. As he chugged the bottle and rolled over, a screech echoed up from his trench coat. It took him to long to remember that one of the cats that Matilda had thrown at him. It was rather cute now that Reginald thought of it. He'd really have to give something good to Matilda in return. Aha! He tossed the empty bottle aside and started the long slow lurch toward Matilda's (building? Hut? Hovel?) To be continued...
  20. Well, I'm annoyed. First, I would like to point out this is exactly why I don't like the nature of forcing people to post or be more active then they are willing to be. Now, let me predict what's going to happen. I'm going to be hit by a coinshot (cause who else would they shoot? They have entirely legitimate reason to kill me), but protected by an elim lurcher (if they have one). Tomorrow, I'll be lynched. Essentially three lynches wasted. But wait! It doesn't stop there, because the village has entirely legitimate reason to kill me, yet it'll still look suspicious after the fact, then the people who lynched me will be under legitimate suspicion until we get some reason to break the cycle. Furthermore, I have no proof to point out my innocence other than the fact of how stupid do you think I am? I desperately engage in communications with Madagascar (who's telling the truth btw), in order to get a tie despite the fact that if I was an elim that would be totally unnecessary (because I would have known about the vote manip), unless you also think I knew that Ecthelion was a soother (a ridiculously small percetage of a chance, A that the elim's have a seeker, B, that they then with that seeker chose Ecthelion who just happened to become the alternate lynch target in the utter chaos that was that lynch). Seekers, if you're out there, you can break the cycle. Yes, I'll die, but that's inevitable. Target the people who caused the chaos in the last moments of that lynch and then next cycle once we hopefully have a tineyes again make that information known.
  21. B/c I don't want to die? And being suspicious really doesn't matter when you're dead...Best case scenario we'd have a tied vote, but I don't really have many options...
