  1. I'm an orater seeker, the only person left in my house. You can claim that it's a good idea to get rid of me b/c of my orator powers, but that will mean you'll lose. I got the seeker a couple of nights ago, I know two Elariels, including Elandera. I'm not sure if they have two or three, but judging by the abilities I saw I suspect three. If you kill me this game could be over by nightfall. I give all the remaining houses a choice. Kill me, and lose. Or don't kill me, and stand a chance. Up to you
  2. That's odd, my math said Walin was an orator, but he wasn't and got voted for... Someone should check back through the previous lynches, I'm pretty sure there was an orater revealed who we didn't lynch.
  3. By estimated strength of house. 1. Elariel (lost two no mistborn) 2. Tekiel (lost two including mistborn) 3. Venture (lost three but no mistborn/misting target abilities) 4. Hastings (lost three, thug, soother, and underground contacts). 5. Lekal (lost three) lost Misborn and Lurcher
  4. Hmmm, so no orators in all the people that voted. Interesting. Clearly there are some houses with five and others with four. To balance it properly there would need to be stronger roles in the four person houses. Perhaps only the four person houses get a mistborn?
  5. Well, rioters are now very scary. Only one orater voted today, and only one anonymous. Curious.
  6. Two mistborns down! An exciting start one might say.
  7. Frozen Mint being a lurcher is interesting. Not sure how many lurchers there are, but I find the probability of one being randomly hit while not defending themself pretty low (not ridiculous though). Betrayal? Two Orators on Snipexe one on RippleGylf.
  8. Either Sqheeves or Arinian is an Orator. Now the question is, were two houses working together to take out Fifth or was this just one house? That's a lot of anonymous votes for one house.
  9. If my logic is correct, first we can conclude that one of the three people who voted on the Young Pyromancer is an orator. Second, it appears that the orator is on the same house as Araris. Otherwise why would he not have voted? Sqheeves and the Young Pyromancer voted, but not Araris.
  10. Forgoe the foolish errand you now seek Seek the way and renounce all sin Learn the wisdom of Elantris's peak Crush the ancient evil within Praise the Ja in all The wind of truth blows through us all Slippery in blood while wet with tears We pace for time immemorial this dusty hall Wrapped in the echoing silence of our fears Praise the Ja in all Hearts colder than iron's touch Souls brighter than the eternal sun We ask so little but seek so much The sand runs out my time is done All shall end and to all is none Praise the Ja in all So I pass. Praise the Ja!
  11. Wilson seems cleared at this point, and I was under the impression that Lopen has been scanned (did I not read in the thread somewhere? I might have to go back and check). Seonid I forgot about, he's been really quiet. @Seonid Any thoughts on who might be Gyorn? My original thought for you was that you worked to get drake, but that only indicates you're not an elim, you could still very well be Gyorn. Finally as per Steel, I'm not super familiar with who is experienced and who is not, I haven't played in that many games myself. His rp style plus large number of total posts made me think he was experienced. Also, I don't think we can put that much weight on how early people voted on Drake. Drake was one of the first to vote for Aralis. @Elenion Do you have reads for Lopen and Seonid?
  12. Honestly my list is getting smaller. I was suspicious of Devotary being Gyorn, but that's out now. I'm guessing Gyorn is an experienced player, which puts Joe, Steeldancer, and Stink at the top of my list. Stink is impossible to read so I've got nothing to say there. Is Joe officially backing out or is he just going to be participating less? Either way, he seems a far less likely candidate. That leaves either Steeldancer or maybe an Elantrian. Side note, a shu-derath pendant was used. Anyone claiming they used it?
  13. Drake . Although I'm still a little confused and suspicious, lynching Drake will for sure find us an elim (either the priest who claims he is evil or Drake, and I don't see why the elims would go out on a limb this early in the game). I appreciate the explanation Wilson. It makes sense both why you were taking time to respond, and why certain members don't want to reveal themselves (the priest and Jindo Warrior who would makie themselves targets).
  14. The longer you wait to tell us what is going on the less time we have for productive discussion @TheYoungPyromancer @little wilson Why do you say Gyorn-priest confirmed?
  15. Could someone please clarify what in bloody heck is going on? Also why is everyone else getting pm's and no one is contacting poor old Porfiry? Sure, he was busy the last couple of nights finishing that pile of paperwork, but he's finished it all by now. @little wilson
  16. So, first I'll explain my original logic, then I'll go into why it no longer makes sense. We knew Aman was poisoned, yet no one had told us that they had done it. Why wouldn't a villager tell us if they poisoned him? They don't lose anything from it, especially once aman is dead. Thus, it made sense he was poisoned by elims. If Aman was poisoned by elim's we can presume they didn't send him (a confirmed villager scanner) to the Shaod where friendly elim's were waiting to be scanned. If they want him in Elantrist though, why kill him after he was sent? Perhaps they sent him there in order to make him less likely to be defended, but the more probable is that he was still a threat as Little Wilson pointed out. Thus, I thought it was possible that one of the two people sent to Elantris at the same time as him was evil. Perfect logic? No, but somewhat reasonable, not to obvious that the elims wouldn't pull it off in order to not give us info, but logical enough that it deserved pursuing. Given that I now know he was poisoned by Pyro, the whole theory makes no sense... It would have been really nice to know last night before I voted on him, which is why I held my vote because Devotary said he had a reason that Aman hadn't been poisoned by elims. I'm sorry Devotary, but your logic made no sense and still doesn't make any sense to me. Gyorn Strategy: If I was Gyorn, I would convert people that are the least likely to die. Probably Elantrians and elims if I could guess them. Hard to say more active or less actives after that. For swearing an Odiv, I'd be patient. I'd swear an Odiv immediately and not have them convert for a night or two (from the original convert pool, assuming you know?), and have them start converting tonight when suspicion won't fall on them/you don't risk them being taken out immediately. If you swear an Odiv late it'd make them vulnerable because we can just announce whose been converted or tell by pm's, and either they can't start converting immediately (which makes them not very effective because the game is already late by the time they can start converting), or risk them getting caught. Of course, it increases threat of random elim kill or village lynch. That logics a little meh, but the best my tired minds got for the moment. @Straw
  17. I'm confused with the first part of your statement. I don't see how it follows at all that he probably wasn't poisoned by an elim. This is exactly what makes it probable that he got poisoned by an elim. Okay Arinian. I think it's the best odds we have right now. I'd like to note I find it odd Straw has not responded as of yet.
  18. Keeping to my earlier promise, I will withdraw my vote on Devotary of Spontaneity. I will hold off on voting for Arinian for a moment, my logic seems less valid right now. @Devotary of Spontaneity how did Aman know he had been poisoned then? I've been operating under the logic that elims poisoned him. If that was the case, how would he know? But if it was a villager, why haven't they just told us? @little wilson Could you provide some analysis on Arinian? You pointed out the possibility of an Elantrian elim, what are your thoughts right now?
  19. I'm sorry, I'm having a hard time forming solid read. Straw I'm highly skeptical is evil, slight village lean (just from previous games I've played with him, he just doesn't feel like an elim, at least from the cycles I've seen him post). Walin I have no read on, I'll keep looking over his stuff though and try to formulate an opinion. Just logically, Arinian seems like the most viable elim. Why would the elims poison and then kill aman? I think it's feasible that one got taken by the shaod just as they poisoned him to get him out of the way. Shaky, but better than anything else I've got at the moment. That being said, I've got one other lead from earlier. Devotary of Spontaneity. That vote will stay on you until you post some analysis on the current lynch candidates or provide an alternative. You said you would if I asked and I have asked yet received no response. @Devotary of Spontaneity I'll check before rollover, if you post I'll change it to Arinian (unless someone else makes a persuasive argument).
  20. Okay, who all is in Elantris right now? I looked back, and all I could find was Arinian and HH, nobody got taken today. Did anyone start there? I think it'd make more sense that no elim was in there in the first place, thus they send him to Elantris to get his scans out of the way. Then, chance makes an elim get sent there as well on the same day. That'd explain why they sent him there in the first place. To be fair though, Aman was confirmed good, and going to be coming back anways. They could have just wanted him out of the main thread and out of the way of scanning them. I think it's definitely worth taking a closer look at HH and Arinian. I wasn't active day one/night one say I can't comment on them off the top of my head :/ Thoughts?
  21. The use of the Jeskari Pendant is a little odd on Eternum strikes me as a little odd, he wasn't even on my radar. Was that perhaps based off what was happening day one, or anyone care to explain? It could be an elim/Gyorn hit instead of a village one. Could you clarify how we know an Elantrian was converted the last night? And in response to your earlier post, your info has been great, but I would love some analysis on who you think is good and evil. Information is the foundation to good discussion, but right now we need more discussion if we have any hope of finding elims.
  22. I've been developing a suspicion of my own for the past two cycles. Look at all the recent quotes from Devotary of Spontaneity. Unfortunately, I'm not technically sophisticated, so I can't also get quotes from the past day cycle. Suffice to say, all of his recent posts have been technical. Either describing the rules, noting something that's happening, or answering questions. It's all been helpful. Now, being helpful is great, but it's also a good way to not get accused by anyone. After all, if you don't throw suspicions and accusations around, who would ever accuse you of being evil? It's the perfect way to be active yet still fly under the radar. Thoughts? *Note, never played with Devotary before, so it could just be his play style. P.S. Sorry for the double post
