  1. Btw guys, one more vote and Eternum will be made medium! We need an active protector to help stop elim kills! Between Eternum and protecter we will have three protect abilities.@Doc12 @Majestic @polkinghornbd @Lady of Chaos (name thing isn't working ><) @Hemalurgic_Headshot
  2. @Darkness Ascendant Okay, I'm a bit confused at what your doing. So you were suspicious of cloudjumper because he quickly voted on Eternum, who you think could be working together to make Eternum an elim medium. Then, you switch from Cloudjumper to Araris, who is being voted on by Eternum. The main reason you decided to vote on him, was because he didn't pm you. Despite the fact that you can't pm people during the day. After finding that out, you have no retracted your vote. You have made clear no other reasons why you are voting on Araris. In fact, the person you're voting with (Eternum), was the same person you suspected might be an elim getting elected medium through cloud. Am I the only one who finds that series of events suspicious? A): That makes link Megasif and DA. It could be an attempt to provide a counterlynch to Megasif. Should DA or Megasif be evil, I'd find it likely the other one is as well. B): I've already been sort of suspicious of DA. Day 2, with the meeting. You decided to vote on Ecthellion. We all know we want the court thread elim's to win, so unless you claim that you knew the courts thread better than most of the people in the court, there was no reason to do that. Afterwards, you claimed that it was a way to eliminate a human to help the elim's, but that's an incredibly easy way to shrug off an attempt at getting a forest elim. I know it seems unlikely you would overextend yourself like that, but it's just a little bit too much to ignore. Your combined reasons to vote on Araris are "he didn't pm you back" and "he doesn't want to lynch inactives." I mean, I'm listening, but at least give me a solid reason to lynch him and I might join you guys. I get Jondesu's and Araris's suspicions of Megasif, but my gut is telling me he's village. My top lynch candidates. 1. Darkness Ascendent 2. Jondesu Cloudjumpers on the suspicion list, but he's so close to inactive it's hard to tell.
  3. No, only two actions in a row, because we were in a meeting where he was reduced by one action. But :p, thats a possibility I suggested above. A protect and extra life? @Aonar Faileas Can you confirm that that would result in stick dying if a meeting was occuring? (a protector of the forest in general I mean)
  4. Okay, rundown. A: I think we're limiting ourselves to possibilities a little to much. Aonar has clearly pointed out that actions within the zeta can have unpredictable results. So to Megasif's list of three I will add the fourth possibility: ??????. Whereby a random effect resulted in him (Doc) gaining one more life, a kill targeting and canceling, or a protect randomly being assigned to him, ecetera. B: We don't even know for certain if Doc was the target. For all we know the kill was aimed at someone else and misfired. C: Let's presume that Arinian was a zeta kill, check. Next we have to ask what the elim kill was, the most likely outcome of that is stick. Relatively accepted good, limited by actions because of the meeting. Doc is a neutral mediator, what reasons would the elim's have to try and kill him? But either way we have to kills being used on our hands. So either Eternum (I think your the only other woods with a kill) used his kill, the zeta attacked doc, someone from the court did, or the secret "cryptids" tried to do it. Of these, I find the zeta the most likely outcome. The court gains nothing, we have no proof of cryptids or any potential kills there. I presume eternum you did not use your kill ability against doc in order to try and become medium? D: Stick being empty. Three possibilities I can think of. 1st, he started out empty (and that doesn't really seem how empty works). He was converted into it by some third party. Or he used to many actions as the protector and drained himself of life. Or the medium choosing him as a protector made him empty as a whack-job fourth option, but that really doesn't make sense. 2 or 3 make the most sense, but neither of them is very compelling or verifiable. Now, we need at the very least a new protector, but probs a new medium, and we have lots of options. No to Jondesu (sorry, with stick dead, that puts you and Araris on my watchlist). Leaning Eternum between the two of you. For now; Eternum. But as important as the medium is, we do have a more important task at hand, finding the elim's. Ya'll got any ideas?
  5. Well, Arinian. @polkinghornbd @cloudjumper Where are you guys at? Also, Doc's post brings up an important concern. Do we want/need an active medium? Araris suggested stick as a possibility, with Flash out of the picture that'd be acceptable to me. Would you accept the role of medium stick if we the forest voted for you? @_Stick_
  6. Thanks mate @Majestic Also, I'm seeing almost nothing right now in terms of lynch discussion, and I've got little to contribute. I'd guess that at least two or three of the elim's are laying a very low profile (or possibly inactive). I'm trying to develop more suspicions on the more active people, but it's hard without more analysis posts. With that in mind, I propose a crusade. Arinian! "Show yourself, or I claim you life in forfeit"-Reginald shouted. @Arinian At the very least let's make it impossible for the elim's to hide among the inactives and get peoples activity up. I'm glad to discuss alternatives, but *shrug*. We should consider that they're just trying to drain the discussion. Flash was one of our more active players. Stick and Doc have extra lives/are protected. It's also worth considering that he was our only other choice for medium. Hmmmm, tell me if you find anything interesting. I don't have enough experience with peoples playstyle or experience to match that up.
  7. Someone who understands! I tell stories about what I do to people who eat zucchinis. But not here. I don't think that the court would appreciate...the more graphic details.
  8. err, there's still the problem that whichever lynch has more votes will be the one that goes through, so splitting it in theory won't split it in practice.
  9. "Reginald, Reginald Canuk"-he said, smiling thinly. His foot tapping slightly with a hint of irritation. Didn't these people realize the danger they were in? This entire meeting could be nothing more than a trap. An attempt to lynch the members of the forest one by one, until no one but the pathetic humans remained. He took a long deep breath, allowing it to turn into a yawn. "Am I the only one who is...nervous...at the calling of this 'meeting,"-Reginald inquired cautiously.
  10. Reginald, placing a guess at Jordren's mildly irritated glance around and quiet stomach growl, pulled out a fine cheese and ham sandwich from his simple knapsack. "Good sir? Could I offer you a humble bit of food so we could focus on the matters of vital mutual interest at hand?"-Reginald intoned with a quiet intensity.
  11. I'm a little confused how this lynch is supposed to work. B/c by my understanding, the forest wants to lynch a human and the humans want to lynch a forest (so to speak). Now, let's say we identify an elim, if the court thinks that we have successfully identified an elim, they would vote on someone else in order to prevent their ally from getting lynched. If they think the elim is a regular resident, they would be fine with it. Unfortunately, the court has more people, what stops them from just lynching the one of us that is least likely to be an elim? Unless as Randuir points out, we have a reason to work together. Any vote to try and find an elim within our ranks would likely be fractured, and unlikely to get the requisite votes necessary in order to avoid a counter-lynch by our compatriots across the...divide? (haven't read the work this is based on). Thoughts people? Am I missing something? So uhhhh, whats the plan?
  12. Well Stick, you did tell me so... *sigh* back to the drawing board. Congrat's on being appointed protector, I think thats the best choice. Now, we need to ask doc how being informed of medium win con (/if he can tell us or wants to what it is). I think this is probably the best medium protector combo right now, but also we need to consider if we can use the medium role to potentially identify elim's (I'm still confused how that works, but we should use every tool at our availability). Next, P.K. lynch. Possibilities. 1. They voted on him for the heck of it. Possible, but unlikely and risky w ith so few people actually voting. 2. An elim was under threat, and P.K. offered an alternative. Of course, this could be dependent on when the people made there vote. In order to determine this we'd need to see who was being voted on at the time that me and Flash made our votes (because it wouldn't make much sense for doc) 3. A vote to stay active (only doc would fit this category, but I don't think he's elim). 4. No elims. Could mean smart elims letting us scramble about and accuse ourselves and didn't see any need to force any particular lynch, or less active ones. 2 and 4 seem like the only logical outcomes to me, and out of the two I'm currently leaning towards no elim's. Only possibility from my perspective is flash. Btw flash, you just used the fact that you would have voted for stick to confirm yourself as good. You realize that you're the only one who could give us that information...? In response to weird vibes, I think we've only played last game together? I've gotten a lot of jabs at being relatively inactive over my last year of playing SE, and I'm trying to step it up a notch. I know I'm still inexperienced and I'll make lots of mistakes (cough cough sorry PK), but I think it's going to make myself a better player and hopefully make it a more interesting game.
  13. In response to Flash, I meant activity more on the lines of analysis, not to mention right of the gate asking a lot of clarifying questions, ecetera. (albeit, he has been mysteriously absent recently). This is such a messy lynch...I guess we'll have lot to go back and examine later. OK. P.K. is my top suspicion right now. I mean, his response to my questions was fine, but a lot of it just feels off. Especially choosing doc and then explaining it for activity. Looking back (and these seems contradictory because of all the attention it got), I can see an elim deciding to go for a medium vote early because it gives them a lot to talk about without seeming like much of a threat, (it's not like lynching someone, where you're not immediately under counteratack). Even his only vote was reactive. I don't really like any of the alternatives. Straw I'm also suspicious of, but I feel like I'm always suspicious of straw and I'm always wrong. Flash, strong village read, last game I played with him he played same style and was village. Stick: slight village. Especially the later posts, seem to be helpful and clarifying and focused on analysis. One of the key players right now getting stuff moving and keeping the information/analysis ball rolling. Araris: Neutral. Always. First three games I played with him I thought he was an elim...I was wrong. Haven't seen anything that would deviate from usual playstyle. Eternum: Nothing, slight village just gut. Megasif: Slight elim, the vote on jondesu seems a little out of nowhere. We haven't seen any bandwagoning this game...except with the Doc medium vote.
  14. What doc? I haven't read all of the questions/clarifications from Joe so if it's there please tell me. If the medium did have a doc, the only way it would work would be if Joe wrote in the doc what their new win con is. And if Joe confirmed that that was the case. If there's a doc, but new role gets pm'd it's useless because an elim would lie. Until we know how that works, it won't help. Additionally, it would take a couple of mediums to tell the truth for sure (assuming Joe won't tell as more details about how the medium works). Because medium #2 would have to confirm medium #1, either 1 or 2 could be lying and would have to be confirmed by #3. Now, that could be bypassed by Joe confirming how the system works, but it's a legitimate idea. If that's how it works, it's a pretty solid plan, because we could use that to root out elims. Does that logic chain make sense? Where can I find more info on mediums/is it there? @_Stick_
  15. Okay, your saying no to PK AND Straw lynch, and that's fine, but do you have an alternative? We mind as well lynch someone day one. I'm pretty meh on the straw lynch, but I'd be willing to lynch PK. I already mentioned my suspicions earlier. Also, right now, Doc is the most active and has provided the most analysis of anyone in this game. So Doc.
  16. The logics fair. I suppose we can revote a new medium if we decide someone else gets confirmed good or we have a good reason to choose anyone else. Uhhhhh, I have no idea if that would work. That's when you know you need to go back and read the rules...I'll comment later.
  17. That sounds like an excellent way to get us all killed! As a general rule, I don't don't like death. Vote Tally: PK: Araris Joe: Straw
  18. Okay, two responses. First, there would be a reason for a member of the court to vote that early. Start a bandwagon, no one else has any counter proposals because we have no information. How would we propose someone else when we have no reason to? In fact, making a counterproposal would be suspicious without any solid information to base it on, even grounds for accusations such as Araris has leveled against you. Already we have three or four people voting on Doc, probably for no other reason than PK voted in the first place. I personally think docs a solid candidate based on what he's posted. Isn't that what people are always telling me? More information is always good for the village. It allows us to sort through info and come to conclusions that allow us to determine who is more probably good and more probably evil. Why that versus just rolling the dice every lynch? I dislike his logic, but then again, I'm never able to tell what role you have, and I'm not going to make any votes until I hear a response from @Paranoid King Okay, second seperated paragraph thing is entirely valid. An active medium is important. But you voted for Doc before you had any knowledge of activity. Just you promise not to become the protector doesn't mean your not evil, Doc could just as easilly hand it off to another elim, or a villager to "prove" that he's good. I'm also very confused by the bolded statement, could you please explain?
  19. Well, I missed LG 36 signups, so count me in! Reginald Canuk's the name. I might add personality when I get a better sense of what this game is.
  20. Dang....PK had me with that vote on Yitzi earlier, I was 100% sure he was village. I now feel better that he didn't listen to me that stick and araris were evil. Well played infiltraters, well played.
