Long Game 29: A Mote in Adonalsium's Eye
Dalinar Kholin replied to Seonid's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Two points. First, lynching someone for making mistakes (if they are legitimate), provides no benefit for the village. We are facing a very complicated situation where a number of forces are clashing and interacting, this is exactly one of the reasons I am afraid of having my voice heard is being mistaken about my analysis out of an inaccurate understanding of what's going on. Secondly, I will admit I'm very confused why you were suspicious of Elodin, clearly Endowment thought Joe was good, and Joe trusted Elodin. @harambe Could you explain your entire thought process just so we can understand what you were thinking?- 984 replies

Long Game 29: A Mote in Adonalsium's Eye

I'm not super thrilled with voting against Magestar. In the past couple of games I've consistently been suspicious of Magestar's style, but nonetheless he has not been guilty. I also have nothing else to add and agree that, sad is it might be, we need to start somewhere. @A Joe in the Bush Roshar is currently pretty quiet, just some small talk about my homeland and a sense of quiet before the coming storm.- 984 replies

I will agree we have Yes. Though it pains me to be so hasty at taking the life of another, it is ultimately for the greater good. Though, I'm sorry to say I have nothing to offer other then my knowledge and my sword.- 984 replies

Long Game 27: Strife in Ankh Morpork
Dalinar Kholin replied to Young Bard's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Sounds good to me as well! Well, I know who Aonar is, so it's in my interests for you not do die. Also, he poses no threat to me. Thus, I will vote for Chaos. -
Long Game 27: Strife in Ankh Morpork
Dalinar Kholin replied to Young Bard's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well, hurrah! The monarch is dead. One step safer to a closer Ankh for everyone. What the heck, I'll vote for Burnt, You know what they see, the less people around the less people to cause trouble! -

Well, I know who he is, and he's not a monarchist, so I have no reason to see him dead. So I mind as well vote for phattemer. -
Long Game 27: Strife in Ankh Morpork
Dalinar Kholin replied to Young Bard's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I will make a strong bid of 1 penny! I would not have anything against killing Luckat, I don't know who the monarchists are, but whittling the number of people done will make it easier to find them, and I have no information to vote for anyone else at the moment. Well, thats all well and good theoretically, I'd still like to hear from them regardless. -

*Ahem* I strongly second the motion of not allowing the patrician to be lynched. But, on a more central point, what motivations would people have to kill the head of the Unseen University? -

Someone jailed me last night and I'm very mildly annoyed. Really? Me? Out of all the people in Ankh Morak? -

Would everyone being dying better then nobody dying? Failure to kill death is better then succeeding to kill life. Hey, and at least we can say we tried. -
Long Game 27: Strife in Ankh Morpork
Dalinar Kholin replied to Young Bard's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Now, lets consider this for a moment. If you kill life, everyone dies, cause we're all alive. If you kill death, nobody dies, so we all live. Isn't killing life a little bit selfish? -
Long Game 27: Strife in Ankh Morpork
Dalinar Kholin replied to Young Bard's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Hmmmmm. Come to think of it, this does pose a bit of a problem. How does one kill death? Does he have to commit suicide? Because death kills everything, so lynching death would have to be death killing death...or by killing death would we become death? Or would is there a death of deaths like there was a death of everything else who we would call on to kill him (ie death of rats, death of ecetera, thus death of deaths)? -
Long Game 27: Strife in Ankh Morpork
Dalinar Kholin replied to Young Bard's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Come on guys, stop trying to get us all killed. How about we lynch death instead? -
Well, we have no choice but to vote for someone as there is already a large vote for the game to end. Even if we could manage to convince people to stand down, if they communicated ie (amun through pm's), there's no reason they couldn't just vote for him last minute as the game would end and there would be no consequences. Thus, if you don't want the game to end you have to vote for Lopen, the only viable alternative. I'd be willing to consider an alternative IF EVERYONE was agreed. But unless that happens we'd just be splitting our vote and admitting defeat.

If someone used Aggressive Heist, the target would be aware that he was stolen from (it would identify who stole it). So Araris would know if that is or not the case. It either had to be stolen randomly or someone would have to give up all their other actions to steal it without you knowing. (You can check the thief list for the official name, but I don't remember it).

Friends, and enemies. Members of the inter-global community of the Cosmere. Today, we have a choice. We can either remain lax, and do nothing, because there has been no information elicited which allows us to kill a member of God's Own Hate tonight. Or we can remain vigilant, and kill the self-alleged murderer within our midst. She is the one who sent murders against my friend and teacher Jasnah. She has infiltrated our midst and spread her lies and deceptions to feign friendship with us, claiming because she is a friend because her faction is no enemy to us. She who has claimed to be friendly and given up her goals has done no such thing! Already she has told us that one of her goals is for Mraize and me to die. Will you let a member of your own, Children, to die at the hands of your own apathy? To stop it would take no more then to aid us in our justified vengeance. As for Araris, he too has been slighted. Stolen from, by one who claims to have given up there goes when they clearly have done no such thing. Who would seek to extend her lies and her web of deceptions in order to complete her malicious ends. Will you all, members of the Cosmere, stand for this? All it takes, is one. Just one Member, to act, and resolve this strife once and for all. There is no risk for whoever takes this stand. No Ghoostbloods left to claim vengeance. No party who has a goal to aid them. Nothing stands in your way. All you stand to recieve is the gratitude of myself and Araris in our quest for justice. Will any one of you be brave enough to take a stand?

Then how would he know I attacked him? And why would I have been roleblocked out of the blue? I caught him spying, he stole pattern, which gave me a part of a win condition (have pattern on a ghostblood). Plus he said he needs to get a bunch of items, which is the ghoostblood win con.
