  1. He blushed. "Oh hush- I'd probably convince you to follow me, then wait for you to pass out before stripping you to do the painting- otherwise I'd never get it done. So yes, way more time..." He blushed, to wanting to even think about that right now. "Why are you flirting so hard with me?" He hummed, curious.
  2. He snorted, chuckling. "Oh really? Well, that's comforting... please tell me I won't wake up to my having painted you nude. That would be pushing the limits of what I'd call 'decent'. I'm not sure I'd ever touch alcohol again..." He chuckled, blushing at the idea.
  3. Shae blushed, glaring at him. "Yeah? Well what if I wanna murder someone? This doesn't seem nearly as safe to drink if it removes someone's ability to care about the consequences of them killing someone. Anything could happen while you're drunk, anything! Doesn't that seem a little, I don't know... unsettling to you?" He'd drained another glass. He was getting used to the burn now, really used to it. He might even be able to chug it.
  4. He raised an eyebrow. "Really? But then I could no longer focus on your handsome figure~..." He winked, blushing and chuckling. That had come out more flirtatious than he'd intended. He didn't mind to terribly, not when he could blame the alcohol, but it still had him blushing. He drank this glass as well, slowly getting used to the odd burning in his throat.
  5. Shae rolled his eyes, continuing to drink. "Why do people want that? Isn't focus something that people try to grab... and hold onto?" He looked at Dan, somewhat lightheaded. Or, well, the drunken equivalent. No... he was barely beginning to feel a faint taste of what Alcohol was going to do to him that night.
  6. He shivered, blushing and glaring at Dan, though it was kind of a weak glare that didn't have any real force behind it. "I hate to admit it, but you're right..." He sighed, finishing the drink he had and grimacing as he waited for it to be refilled, watching Dan. "What is this stuff even supposed to do?" He had felt more dehydrated after drinking it than before, is it didn't hydrate the body- and he couldn't remember the first time he'd been drunk, so he didn't know what else the point was.
  7. He nodded, chuckling. "Alright... how can you enjoy that stuff? It's so... bitter. Sour. I mean... like rotten fruit, but without the sweetness. It's just... weird." He shook his head, chuckling as he forced down the drinks he'd gotten, still not a fan of the color-forsaken liquid.
  8. Shae sat next to him, smiling happily. "Well, what should I get? You know liquor far better than I do." He hummed, tired but vibrant with life.
  9. Shae nodded, grinning and breathing heavily. "Yeah... let's go." He grabbed his shirt and pulled it on, surprised he'd been able to keep up with Dan as well as he had. Dan still won every time, but at least he was learning how to keep the fight going longer.
  10. Okay. Can one of us create a Character sheet that outlines what information is necessary?
  11. I know, I meant prodigy in the sense that they are naturally talented at ritual magic, and have an easier time grasping concepts and understanding principles. Especially if they are a skilled artist, and the classes meet as you say, these kids would quickly outpace the rest and be stuck searching for more information. Thus, they'd be forced to research what they are already learning, giving them a much deeper understanding of the subjects than the rest.
  12. ^Full agreement. Though, I figure that natural prodigies would be able to learn at a faster pace, but still not be allowed to progress to the next step until the required amount of time had elapsed, meaning that they'd have deeper knowledge and understanding of the things everyone learned rather than broader knowledge. Does that fit?
  13. I believe that concepts like death are the only ones that could kill a god, and then, only if- and I mean ONLY IF- that god were trying to stop death from happening to his subjects. If that's his whole reason for being a good, then death would only be able to block him, not kill him, but otherwise, if a good does not directly deal with life, trying to stop death causes the concept if death to kill the god. Concepts, after all, only act on their nature, because they aren't sentient in the first place. No ulterior motive.
  14. Shae moved into the balls of his feet, almost kneeling as he forced his torso back, leaving him almost horizontally, perfectly straight with all his weight on the balls of his feet and his fingetips. He felt Dan's kick scrape his skin, and he shoved himself back up to his feet while doing what Dan had done and trying to kick his chin. He was flexible enough to do so.
  15. Shae was not expecting that. Shae was shook, and tripped over him, scrambling to get to his knees and look at him as he moved into a defensive position.
  16. He grunted as he got kicked back, hiting his back and rolling enough to push with his arms and spring back into a standing position, albeit a distance away. He ran forward, ready to react to whatever Dan did.
  17. The origin of ghost stories and such?
  18. He smiled, breathing and forcing himself to calm down. Then, he ducked forward, feinting a pouch to the gut as he ducked past Dan and turned to pull his leg back.
  19. Forgive me, but... I notice that you know of the rare ASL...
  20. He blushed, rolling his eyes. "Half as much as you. Let's get going already- I'd we finish early, we can spar until nighttime. Sound good?" He smiled, stretching and sighing as his back popped.
  21. He chuckled, nodding. "Sure. I'd love to see you salivate over me as we both become aching, sweating messes of skin, muscle and bone." He winked at Dan, meaning it as a joke and not realizing that winking could have other connotations.
  22. He nodded, chuckling. "Alright... what should we do until then?"
  23. He blushed. "Well... sure. Why not? Just... try not to get as drunk as last time, okay? I'd like to remember what I'm doing, even if I can't control really myself in the moment..."
  24. He blushed, glaring at him. Though, he realized that that probably only made him cuter to Dan. "Sure, why not? I don't have anything I'd rather be doing anyways..." He sighed, only faintly annoyed as he smiled and finished the lacquer, setting the piece aside. "What did you have in mind?"
  25. Shae glared at him. "Shut up. I'm hardly old. Besides, you act as old as someone both or ages combined. It feels like I'm dating an old man." He chuckled, rolling his eyes.
