  1. Shae relaxed after a moment, his body going limp as he seemed to stop feeling whatever was causing him such intense sensations. Now he was just regular unconscious, and that was a bit better than what it had been.
  2. Shae blacked out, his mind too overwhelmed. His body didn't stop flaring his metals though. It wouldn't until he'd run out of them, which would leave him numb for a while.
  3. He blushed, grimacing as he swallowed. It was the most expressive he'd been. Everything became sharper, and he was crying soon, overwhelmed. He just wanted everything to stop...
  4. Shae still didn't respond, couldn't hear anything- he was entirely stuck reliving that moment. Dan would have to think of some sensation that could overwhelm his mind that wasn't part of that memory to snap him out of it early. Though that might not be very safe either.
  5. Shae didn't react, didn't flinch- he barely breathed. He was probably only alive still because of his breath and his tin. His tin was already almost gone though- he'd black out once that was gone. he'd begun flaring it on instinct when the explosion hit, so everything had been that much worse.
  6. Shae was unresponsive, staring off into space and seeming completely gone, mentally. He was so completely consumed by the emory that he couldn't get out- not without a lot of time and help.
  7. He nodded, humming. He still hated the guy, but... he was dead. He felt, incomplete now, like he'd missed something, or like a piece of him was missing. He pushed down the feeling, humming softly to himself. Then the world began to explode, and he jumped in front of Dan and the man to help shield them, that single moment locking him back into that memory- but in a whole new, more intense way than he'd ever had before. By the time it was all said and done, Shae wasn't exactly healthy looking.Burns and cuts and scrapes laced his back and sides, his front almost untouched. It was... not pleasant.
  8. Shae blushed slightly, but obeyed, pulling off and then tearing up his shirt, handing the neat strips to Dan so he could use them. Now he'd need to weave a new one... he probably should weave several pairs, actually...
  9. Shar blinked, staring. "That was... anti climactic..." He hurried forward, dropping to his knees next to the unconscious man who'd killed the psychopath. "Hey Dan! Help me out here! Let's use some basic first aid until the rest of our home is clear. Then we can get him to the hospital wing."
  10. Shae shot at his feet, doing his best to hit, but not expecting much. He also shot at the man next to him, annoyed at how long it took them to get to the roof.
  11. Shae nodded. "I love you too. Don't get shot or killed or else I'll kill him, bring you back from the dead, slap you, and then spoil you rotten." He stood, grimacing. His jaw still hurt... Dan was going to owe him big time after this.
  12. He nodded. "Alright. Get his weapons away from him- then he had fewer options. We have the best chance if we keep in melee. Are we're ready?"
  13. He nodded, taking the gun and practicing on the corpse. He could hit a torso reasonably well at this distance... he doubted it would be much use when the guy was moving, though. Maybe he could just distract him. "I'm a skilled fighter, and you're an expert one, right? So if we fight together, even an expert would lose. We'd outclass him together, right? That means we need to work together this time instead of attacking him separately... I'll aim for the pressure points."
  14. He nodded. "Great. How do these work? Crash course time." He gestured to the dozen guns he had 'gathered' from the guards. If he could shoot at the guy, it might help. Maybe...
  15. He looked up at him. "Dan, you are dating someone who had long ago decided to protect the people he cares about, especially children. Right now, there are children being slaughtered. Now, I'm not going to let them die. I will die in their place if need be- but I'm not hiding. Now, if you ask me to run and hide again, I'll slap you again. If you wanted someone who would run, and hide, and obey you no matter what, you should've chosen a man without scars. Where. Is. He?"
  16. He sighed. "Good... if it was yours, I'd kill you. I'm talking about the psychopath who started this whole mess- the one who started this childrens massacre."
  17. Shae blinked, tasting copper in his mouth. The raw confusion from that made him burn tin, and then the pain hit and he flinched back, gripping his skull as the memory crumbled around him. He winced, blinking and looking around. "What... Dan?" He winced, tenderly testing his jaw. Then he slapped the man. "You just punched me, didn't you!?" He glared at him. Then he kissed his cheek. "Thanks. Now, where do we go to take more of them down? And where is that psychopath? I want to tear out his throat and feed him his own heart." He clenched his fist, looking around to try and figure out where the man was.
  18. Shae didn't hear him, didn't see him, didn't feel him. Everything was frozen in that moment, and his eyes stared hollowly straight ahead. He wouldn't be useful for the rest of the battle, not unless something shocked him out of it.
  19. Shae was only functioning Thanks to adrenaline by this point. Memories that he'd tried to forget were trying to overwhelm him thanks to the explosions he'd been hearing, and all it would take to completely incapacitate him would be to see another child's body, or- He turned a corner and saw Dan, covered in blood and injured. That was it, he blanked, starting forward as everything just overwhelmed him and he collapsed to his knees, his limbs feeling weak and shaky. That single moment replayed over and over, and over again... The wall that head been forged shut by the kid vanished, and any still alive in there ran to the art studio, frantically trying to find a place to hide- Shae had taught them Aons here, and Forging- heed taught them art and a bit of music, and so much else... it felt like a safe place, and the only thing they found was a wall. This version of the school, this fortress, it had no art studio. So they hid in a nearby room, locking the door after making certain that it was empty. Two kis began drawing in the air, only one actually managing to make an Aon. That kid started layering multiple Aons everywhere, going slowly out of fear. He was the only one who could draw them, and he knew enough by now to start strengthening the walls around them. Not much, but he made the Aons a lot. It wouldn't stand up against a bomb, but a person would struggle to get the door open.
