cometaryorbit Hey digger, theres a WoB saying its a prison planet. What type we can only speculate. Theres also another WoB saying that Odium isnt invested in anything. His trapped/contained within the greater Roshar system. Most likely due to the oathpact.

I still think shards themselves are not power. Its mearly access to the spirit realm/investure. The bigger the splinter the more access you have. Like a door way. Its open a little for Mistborn/Knights radiants and the like. But its open all the way for shards and with uncle andy his access/doorway is super massive.

turtle373 I agree that the Roshar system has spren and if another shard came say Harmony then there would be Harmony spren. So Braize spren could be of all shards acting as guards over Odium. Small possibly. Or Cultivation metals on Scadrial. But why is the prison planet Braize the only planet that only has spren? I think there either prisoners themselves or the prison guards.

Good theory, could be Kelsier!! All throughout Secret Histories both Preservation and Ruin said Kel was more of Ruin than Preservation. And Kel was Mistborn!!! What about now with Kel resurrection? Interesting theory.

Knight Oblivion I think Hoid want to get alittle of each Shard so his Connected to all Shards. Maybe thats why he was on Braize, to get some Odium. He may know a way to rip the Shards from the Vessels with this Connection

Pretty sure i saw a WoB confirming the weapon in the letter was Lerasium. But hoid didn't use it like your ment to. Hence the tattoo theory.

How about the possibility Hoid was a prisoner? Maybe a shard or two saved him? Or.... its where his home base it. And he uses a similar object the IRE and Kel used to hide from Ruin. Now that would be awesome. Hiding right infront of Odium. Hoids likes to get on peoples nerves and this would send Odium mental when he finds out.

DarkJester I wasnt alluding to Kel being Hoid. Just that Ruin describes Kel what Hoid describes himself. Meaning Hoid could have started off as a cognitive shadow. The words of a page comment Hoid said could mean; Page = Cosmere Words = Hoids essence.

So Hoid started off an an idea, like words on a page. And he stole himself.... Has Brandon hinted on another character being in the same situation? In Secret Histories theres a conversation between Kelsier and Ruin that goes: "...Look at you, Kelsier! You haven’t form or shape. You’re not alive, you’re an idea. A memory of a man holding the power will never be as potent as a real one with ties to all three Realms.” Ruin, a god describes Kel as an 'idea'. And whats Kels profession again?

I have thought of this theory as well. My lil bro thinks Uncle Andy's cognitive shadow is Wit. But i dont think so. What do we know? 1. His immortal. 2. His "been around forever". 3. His first act or theft is himself, who started as words on a page. 4. His spiritually blind. 5. He cant hurt people. 6. He collects 'treasures'. Eta. If i follow my lil bros theory that his a cognitive shadow id say it was of the singularly chrystal that Adonalsium is but a small shard of. And every gallaxy had a shard of this singularity chrystal. The larger the gallaxy the bigger Adonalsiums brother/sisters are. Spoolofwhool I see your point that all metals on Scadrial is of Preservation and Ruin. As they created the whole world. I also agree with the alloy points. ... Just woke up and hungover so ill come back later today. Also i dont mind if the thread goes off track alittle. It happens

No the only God metals are Lerasium and Atium! So gold may be of Ruin. Otherwise why is it Ati's connection'? Or its an Uncle Andy metal. Which i truly believe. Or maybe a metal mixed between Preservation and Ruin gives the god manipulation of the user. In this case Ati wins, as Leras was diminished at this point. In any event, Preservation said the 'metal Kel burnt' was of Ati. So im thinking both are of Ati, or of Ati and Uncle Andy.

All good. Kel was only burning the 11th metal at the time of his death. Preservation was referring to this metal in explaining why Kel could see TLR's past. And said: This means the 11th metal was of Ati/Ruin. How could it not?

It seems access to the Spiritual Realm can see into the past: It seems here accessing the SR gives the ability to see the past. Whats your thoughts. Also it seems the 11th metal is of Ruin. What others? What would happen if Kelsier was burning Electrum? Would he see the future? A true future? Or would that take Durilium plus Electrum?

Yes its possible. Vin is a Sliver of Preservation on account of holding Preservation briefly. She was not a Sliver after using the Well of Ascension. She didnt become a Sliver from the Well because she didnt hold the power long enough to change her spirit web to Sliver status. She gave up the power before the small time period a person has that power for. TLR held the power longer therefore was changed into a Sliver. Had Vin held the power for the same time period she'd be a Sliver too. Pretty sure when absorbing the Wells power they have around 5 secs to use it or it disappears. Vin gave it up prior to time running out. TRL didnt. He used up all the time allocated to use the power changing and fixing Scadrial and its people. Amongst other things he did.

Jondesu Correct. Same when Vin let the power go after holding it. This would have changed their spirit web greatly. Plus TLR hung onto abit when he deascended

TLR is different. 1st. He was a Mistborn and a Feruchemy user. 2nd. He was over a thousand years old. A savant on many levels across two different powers. 3rd. And then some.
