  1. Honor would probably fit him, he already acts like the caretaker for humanity. Devotion is gonna have a conflict with Ruin i suspect (though it can also be interpreted that you need change/end some things for the good of somebody). Him picking up Odium would probably turn him into some kind of weird version of Rashek like his TLR time. Harmony + Endowment or Autonomy might be very VERY interesting.
  2. I suspect he's gonna die or make a brave sacrifice sometime later make a big gesture of "i will protect those who cannot protect themselves" or whatever the other windrunner oaths are. Or the " born unto eternity " would mean him ending up taking up a reformed shard of honor(Mr. Sanderson said it's not impossible and stormlight is a long series) but i gravitate on him dying or ended up leading. Yeah i can totally see him taking up Jezriens responsibility and i think only Taln is the only clear ally herald that might actually do his job.
  3. Granted but the universe conspire against you and you never get to use those organizational skills in relevant matters. I wish more visible crossovers between Sanderson books
  4. They even have children together (people in Scadrial) lol
  5. He didn't really know that the key might just be helping the actual radiants, i mean who actually knows aside from Dalinar what should be done. At least he's doing it for the greater good compared to Sadeas who's practically pure greed reasons.
  6. Though Amaram is a storming scum, his intentions are still for the greater good apparently. Sadeas is just a greedy for power person who would willingly split the kingdom and make people suffer just so he gets in position of power.
  7. Indeed, one of the big reasons why i loved mistborn trilogy in general. I just love some the lines he says like and his swag line he just personifies himself in some things he says
  8. Granted but you are the only one who the books exist. I wish we'd get a series by Brandon Sanderson that totally dedicated for the shards during the span of time of elantris. stormlight, mistborn.warbreaker etc.
  9. I just hope it's not some kind of bummer shard like Cowardice or something.
  10. Yeah so far indeed Endowment has the least messy world that any shard are involved. Though she's a solo shard on that planet and she's not accompanied with malevolent shards like in Scadrial with Ruin and Roshar with Odium. So far there are more neutral~ish and benevolent than plain malevolent like Ruin/Odiun. That would interesting if Rayse was actually losing to Tanavast before the Heralds abandoned Honor, and Tanavast death was not caused by Rayse being cunning but rather the heralds/knight radiants were the ones who stormed up why Tanavast died. Yeah about Bavadin his intent is pretty interesting at least, maybe as interesting as Endowment and Harmony(balance to preserve and destroy is pretty cool). I mean independence/freedom can be presented as good or evil depending on the situation. And this totally can make sense to that theory that if Bavadin and Rayse worked together before, it was probably to kill Devotion/Dominion since Devotion is kinda like Odium's closest opposite like Honor as @Oversleep mentioned and since Dominion is kinda the opposite of Autonomy which may be they tag teamed up and rekt them both. I suspect Autonomy may not be as evil nor outright good as he is right now even if his Vessel was formerly despicable as Hoid seems to imply.
  11. SPOILER ALL COSMERE related possibly Shards are considered as "gods" and most powerful thing in the cosmere as of the moment but out of all the shards that have been revealed through the cosmere novels Mistborn, Stormlight Archives, Elantris, Warbreaker, White Sand, even WoB's and whatever form of story that i missed that Mr. Sanderson produced that is cosmere related. So out of the limited information and exposure we had with the shards who did you find most interesting whether it'd be due to the intent, the vessel behind it, the shardworld he/she/it resides or interaction with the other shards, even the ire from Hoid counts too and/or just the things that shard has done so far ? Also some questions i'm curious about Do you guys think Odium has a big opposite shard not Honor and doesn't have to be like perfect opposite kinda like preservation/ruin ? Apparently Bavadin(Autonomy) is Mr. Sanderson's favorite shard, thoughts on the dude especially for White Sand readers ? Do you agree that he's a menace like Hoid suggests in his letter grouping him up with Rayse ? Would you count him as ally or enemy in general ? It seems that Tanavast mentioned in one of Dalinar's dreams that Odium tasted defeat too many times and would not wanna taste defeat again. Do you think that means that Rayse was actually losing between him and Tanavast before Honor got rekt ? Or it was just a stalemate. How many other malevolent shards are there apart from Ruin and Odium ? Possibly Chaos maybe Though we have limited knowledge about shards my favorite is probably Ruin, he seems earnestly thinking he could help people by ending them lol . I would've said Harmony but if only the dude acts more like Ruin than preservation, he feels like a caretaker more than somebody who is actually half Ruin tbh, i wish he was more malevolent since he still represents enthrophy/change/death/destruction. Well that's all . Thoughts?
  12. Well i'm all for another surge of gravitation 1v1's though the current skybreakers probably don't have sprens that give them those. I mean it's not the breaking the law that i think is off but rather the thought that Lirin did this for the sake of his son alone, so playing favorites. But it probably doesn't matter much since Kaladin does that biased protection to bridge four too and Dalinar's + his army later.
  13. @WindCaller about Lirin being possibly a candidate of a Knight Radiant. Wow great catch. Assuming he's still alive and he's even experiencing the a hardship since he believes both of his children are dead. He indeed fits as a windrunner but he did the stealing thing but i'm not sure if that can fit under the windrunner territory but still the rest fits oh man. Yes ! though they already have Sigzil and Ka(that barmaid that one of the bridge four member is inlove with) for scribing, there can never be too many scribes ! So far the bridge four knows that Kaladin has shown he has no time for women (they didn't know about his thing for Shallan). So that would be interesting to see everybody's reaction of Kaladin bringing a woman back from his trip that he knew that isn't Hesina.
  14. Yeah no way she's dead not only would she have her flashback book focus(though Sanderson already stated that a character who has flashbacks can possibly be dead) but she can't be dead i suspect her struggle is gonna be fighting Odium's influence from inside with what is right as the before stormform parshendi was treated by Dalinar/Kaladin as if they were very honorable even though they are enemies (so that counts as something since they are Knight Radiant or at least at that time prime example of those honorable ones). And formerly parshendi was not of Odium or made by Odium so possibly maybe Eshohai's part of the stormlight is the development of a Parshendi turning into a Knight Radiant or something of Honor. Also i feel like the screaming in the head while wielding the dead shardblade tips that.
  15. AoL at the end. There is also another one where Harmony disapproves of Spook digging about Hemalurgy and writing about it but he still didn't stop spook from doing so . In which harmony doesn't really restrict people from doing stuff even if he doesn't like it as long as it's not like outright murderous and immoral.
  16. Idk about that remember that Sazed is still half ruin not just preservation alone, so he probably sees death differently as necessary even if he's friends with Kelsier .. Combining it with preservation didn't change the ruin intent it just tempered it. So the need to change and end must still be being put into action by Sazed. And Sazed is clearly not minding manipulating and guiding peoples life judging from what happened with Wax and intentionally taking Lessie away from him. Also it could just be that when he and there's even another thing that and considering that he disapproved of Marsh giving spooks autobiography to Wax but he still allowed Marsh says something about how lenient he is He also has that motto giving all people as much choices as they could choose from which makes alot of sense as to why he's quite not helpful sometimes. Also he probably mostly preoccupied with all the other forces trying to limit his knowledge and probably also messing with him,.
  17. Man whoever picked that shard must be pissed. Worst shard ever
  18. Granted but you lose 5 years memories of the most important times of your life in the past (the 5 years can split up into days/months/hours/minutes depending on the duration of each of the most important memories of your life). I wish to learn the name, intent and status of the other remaining shards that haven't been revealed.
  19. Tbh my favorite ones are on WoA and Hero of Ages like the "I am unfortunately the hero of ages" part. Yeah this one is pretty good but my personal favorite is this
  20. I'm don't really remember how the map of Stormlight looks like at all. So i suppose it's difficult for this to happen ? what about flying(falling) there? assuming there's another highstorm coming soon oh damnation nevermind he can't bring everybody with him well whatever i just hope he somehow brings Laral into Urithru .. though i suspect kaladin's trip is short i bet he's gonna go alot of places before going back
  21. Well the intent will obviously prevail but i was thinking more of a different way in viewing entrophy or maybe change as Ruin instead of how Ati viewed it.
  22. I didn't get the impression that what Adolin did is not road to Odium after all this and another wob he seems to be indicating what he did would not be an issue as long as it's not windrunner/skybreaker/other too strict radiant orders There's also this. I suspect that Kaladin/Dalinar/maybe Renarin would be so disappointed and probably angry with what he did too but he doesn't feel like he's going full Odium. Yeah i feel like he's gonna die too but prolly in a "you all go ! i'll hold them/it/whatever" but there's gonna be alot of lying in the next few adolin related stuff i'm sure.
  23. I sincerely hope Kaladin brings whoever is left in hearthstone to Urithru and hopefully that means Laral and it plays around his nostalgia and familiarness. I would like to see the reactions of bridge four and maybe Shallan and others who think Kaladin is too busy for woman. Maybe she'll end up as a scribe for him. I think there'd be conflict with Roshon maybe he'll save him and later let dalinar deal with him. But i heavily doubt Sanderson will reuse the plot of Kaladin struggling with his oath and vengeance though it will probably appear later like wayy later again i suspect.
  24. Kelsier or prolly Spook for sure with the context of secret history. Can't be Marsh, Marsh showed up at the end of alloy of law and it was confirmed it was him. He had two spikes
  25. Seems to me that intent depends on who holds the shard and how they view the certain virtue/intent. Like if somebody else probably held Ruin it'll probably be interpreted differently not just like "helping everybody by ending everybody" as how it seems like Ati sees it which fits him as a kind man since he still thinks he's doing everybody a favor.
