  1. Well, Kidpen's role explains his vote disappearing each lynch. First off Coop, and then off Snipexe on D2. I, like others, am willing to soft-clear every player that voted for Kidpen last cycle. That leaves Steel, CadCom, Jond, WfY, Ark, and Sart. My thoughts on these players mirror those of Sart's, however I'll give my own two cents on each regardless. As I said last cycle when I voted for Kidpen, his flip gave us a ton of info. Sart is now 90% village in my books, even though his behaviour the last couple of turns was very elimy. I may even say TWTBAW. I would like to lean village on Steel based on Kidpen's comments about him and his vote on Araris earlier in the game, but I'm somewhat sceptical still. Jond is a mystery - he hasn't posted much so I don't have a lot to go off of. He could honestly go either way. Ark has being going against WfY rather strongly, and that isn't something I'd expect an elim to normally do. So village lean here. I believe I've said it before, but I've been quite suspicious of WfY for some time and Kidpen's flip has only intensified that suspicion. Both Kidpen and WfY had been reading each other village... Lastly, CadCom. They've only voted once so far: for Rand, last cycle. Other than that, they expressed suspicion for Phatt and Rand in a previous post. And on Steel and Snip some time before that...for some reason I'm finding it difficult to come to a conclusion about CadCom. Though it's not a positive vibe that I'm getting, generally speaking. And now a couple of things from last turn: @randuir I agree that an ISO button would make all our lives a lot easier. XD @Rathmaskal Alv is dead.
  2. I'm sorry. Life's been getting in my way a bit more than I anticipated. I have been and will try to stop by and offer my views on things whenever I can though, so no worries, hopefully at some point here you'll catch hint of my alignment and won't be so unsure anymore Hm. Am I missing something? Why are they confirmed village? I think it's worth mentioning that we can't say for certain that Araris was lying about the number of elims in the Synod doc. It's entirely possible he was telling the truth just to throw us. I personally think it just might be one but Araris' comment has little to do with that. Well, anybody could come up and say they think you're village. After all, the elims *do* know everybody's alignments. They often village-read people in attempts of pocketing them. Kidpen, I apologise if it's starting to look like I'm tunnelling on you, but my last vote on you sort of carried no weight at all, being just a singular vote. Things do have the potential to go differently today though, I think. With your flip, we can get info regarding Sart's alignment among others like WfY.
  3. I think this is a good idea. We could use the protect on them during night turns so the elims won't target them.
  4. Sort of suspicious of WfY after reviewing all of her posts. A total of ten non-RP posts, and none of them offer any solid opinions. She's also been involved in both of the mislynch bandwagons.
  5. So both D1 bandwagons turn out to be village. Not surprising, considering. Today my top suspects include Kidpen, Sart, and Rand. In that order. I'll c/p the summary of last cycle's vote from my notes for reference: (sorry if it's a little vague) VOTE SUMMARY D1 1. On WfY from Sart: poke (RETRACTED 4) 2. On Steel from Araris: poke (RETRACTED 1) 3. On Kidpen by Alv: poke (RETRACTED 7) 4. On Rath by Coop: poke (RETRACTED 2) 5. On Stick by WfY: newbie misunderstanding (?) (RETRACTED 6) 6. On WfY by Coop: due to unjustified vote on Stick, presumably (RETRACTED 5) 7. On Xinoehp by Elandera: poke (RETRACTED 3) 8. On Coop by Rand: for Coop jumping on WfY’s vote 9. On Araris by Phattemer: I’m…actually not sure why (RETRACTED 8) 10. On Itiah by Sart: Synod comment, no vote, don’t put in kills advice, & advocating for bandwagon lynches 11. On Itiah by Araris: jumping on wagon 12. On Itiah by Elandera: jumping on wagon 13. On Itiah by Stick: jumping on wagon 14. On Itiah by Xinoehp: jumping on wagon 15. On Coop by Snip: lack of explanation for WfY vote 16. On Coop by WfY: Self-preservation (?) 17. On Coop by Itiah: part self-pres, part suspicion 18. On Coop by Kidpen: jumping on wagon 19. On Coop by Steel: jumping on wagon bc Coop > sus than Itiah 20. On Itiah by Alv: jumping on wagon 21. On Itiah by Phattemer: jumping on wagon Looking at the above, and keeping in mind that elims seldom aim to lynch the player on whom they're the first to vote on, my suspicon of Kidpen comes from the time of their vote on Coop (see 18). The Coop bandwagon was started by Rand and Itiah's by Sart, which is literally the only reason these two aren't higher than kidpen on my suspicon list. Anyway, back to Kidpen. Below is the post in which they voted for Coop: This post feels really off to me. I can't put my finger on it, so maybe it's just everything about it : They're trying to sound neutral, confused, and understanding coop's situation all at once. Not to mention that this vote tied the votes and was placed in like the last 30 mins of the turn. Moving on to Sart. So uh I think it's clear who killed off Itiah, eh? Honestly, suggesting the night lynch idea and then using that to publicly send in a kill order on a player isn't a move half bad for an elim. Because if not for your night vote, there would've been a lot of suspicion on you for being the one pushing for the itiah lynch last the turn before itiah was killed. But because that's all I've got right now, no vote for you from me today. :[ Now Rand. I've got no reason. I can never get a read on you, so you'll always be suspicious. No vote for you either. Kidpen it is, then. Also, hey nobody talked about elim numbers this game :0 Inconceivable. We started with 19 of us so it would make sense to have a 4-persons elim team. And I have strong suspicions at least one of them is hiding among the inactives/barely-actives i.e. Xino, Jond, Snip, Bort I actually did attempt to open up a PM with Itiah ;_; I knew there was a chance he'd die and idk why but I honestly didn't expect my order to go through so I risked my action on the slim chance of Itiah surviving the night. Which he didn't. But no one else apparently send orders for PMs so my action would've otherwise been successful. I realise I've got no way to prove this so eh What CadCom said. Yeah...I kind of wanted to vote for Araris for no particular reason but like he already had a vote on him so it didn't feel like the nicest thing to do. But I've always thought that casting a vote is my *duty* (especially on D1s) as a villager you know? And of course I have to keep up with that even when I'm not a villager but that's besides the point. Not voting just seems wrong. So I picked itiah to vote on, because Sart pointed out things that kind of made sense at the time. so yeaa It's 2 AM so I should sleep Why are all my posts at 2 AM this game. What a mystery.
  6. Apologies for not having posted yet. It's unfortunate that we've lost a copper ferring. And a synod member to top it off... Analysis of the vote will have to come tomorrow, I'm afraid. Though I will say that I understand why people didn't retract their votes off Coop even after his claim because honestly, that's the last resort for a fair number of elims when their necks are on the line. But of course, I'm not suggesting that Coop should've outright role-claimed either. He was in a tough spot. And what are you taking about Steel? Voting at the end of the cycle is the BEST (even if it does prove to be a nuisance for the GMs (soz GMs)) because that way, you get to take in the whole picture and make a decision. imo, anyhow. Anyway that's all for tonight cuz it's kind of 2 AM
  7. Was just about to place a vote on itiah after reading Sart's post and reviewing itiah's posts when the next two votes came in quick succession and now I'm sceptical. Seems like the choo choo train has arrived. I know what you're thinking: twtbaw quick votes like this amirite. I either hop on or I don't Itiah Anyway Not quite. A minimum of two votes is still required. Huh. Is this because you haven't got time irl or in-game things?
  8. o hey a vote on me imo it seemed more like a newbie mistake so I'm not sure if it warrants a vote. Waiting for your explanation tho I wouldn't clear him for it for what it's worth. All sorts of elims exist Also did i ever talk about how much i hate Day Ones because of the dilemma they put me in regarding the vote
  9. I'm afraid I won't have the time anymore. Nor the dedication ;_; Also I forgot to talk about this in my first post, but the generic kill is kinda worrying. At the moment, the elims would almost certainly try to use that kill to their advantage because the village would hesitate to put in a kill order this early in the game. And even if we do put some in, the targets are more likely to be villagers than not, given the lack of intel we have right now. I don't think there's a way around this, though we may be able to present the elims with an IKYK situation. I don't think they'll use that generic kill and waste an action this cycle if they know that one of us is, as we'd likely target a villager anyway. However they can't be sure whether we're using it or not. Guess we should keep it that way? Please feel free to point out if I'm misinterpreting the rules there. I feel like I am? I dunno
  10. Except the Synod members don't know each other's identities like the elims do
  11. Hello all! Sorry for checking in so late. This is probably my last SE game, so I hope to have fun! Now then! The rules seem simple enough. Quick note that I don't think it's a good idea to lynch people based on what roles they may have unless, of course, somebody claims to have used the copper action and tells us the elim role distribution. That hasn't always worked out well in the past. However, it may do some good to keep track of each players' role by observation. Though I don't personally think these observations should be outright announced to the thread without a solid reason, as that may possibly aid the elims. Other than that...oh right. The Synod. This is interesting. Elims and villagers together in one doc completely anonymous. Sounds extremely fun . Though what does it not being a "safe role" mean exactly? Due to how their kill works, I'm guessing the Synod isn't mostly comprised of elims as that'd be an unfair advantage for them. Though it does seem plausible that they'd have at least one elim in the doc. It's basically like a second lynch. A second secret lynch. I think that's all I gotta say for now
  12. Nice. EBI peeps played really well. So I tried out a new playstyle in which I pretty much posted anything that came to my mind without a second thought. Almost no analysis involved. Not trying that again. Also I'm REALLY glad a kandra actually existed. Thanks to Seonid and Fifth for GMing!
  13. You where also quite certain I was village though Shush I eventually realised my mistake.
  14. Yay! MLT badges! *High-fives @Arraenae I had fun spec'ing the game, Steel. Great job running it! And I agree with Alv that all your write ups were very enjoyable. Congrats to the elim team for pulling off the win even though I -at many points- was quite certain the village would win (as can be seen in the spec doc). XD
  15. By the way, that tineye message was mostly just a bluff We didn't scan any of you elims.
  16. I KNEW IT HAHAHA Good game y'all Thanks, @Straw, for running it! @Araris Valerian I was worried you'd actually pulled pewter last cycle. XD
  17. So...that vote that got soothed off Araris last cycle. I'm guessing that was DoS because why would Gancho commit suicide. Why did DoS feel the need to save Araris? Edit1: Also claiming thug at this point is potentially a very elimy thing Edit2: sorry for saying I'd stop tunnelling on you in one post and then tunnelling on you regardless in the next XD
  18. If I had to choose I'd say Snip, I think? I don't think Bort was active enough to have sent the kill on me. But it could also just be you bluffing about being a thug and in reality being the elim mistborn. Ehhh maybe it's time I stop tunneling on you XD I don't know. I honestly hope it's actually just Herdazian who we're after.
  19. By now, almost everyone knows that I'm the mistborn, so I might as well just state it in-thread. XD I don't know who attacked me, but I got lucky.
