  1. Wow. That's an info dump. What? Well, Bard's now revealed as one of Elend's Loyalists. I wonder why Kelsier was 'almost certain' he was working against Elend. And what's Maill lying about? Why's STINK smart? I'm so confused. I guess I'll analyse Maill's and STINK's posts and see if anything stands out... (The two posts below are from last night) Did he read the PMs? woah. no one even tried to mentioned role claim swaps in my pms. It's kinda sad. Now that I'm reading this post, I think this might have been what Joe was referring to when he said jumae is saying smart things - your suspicion for Maill and Coop? :000000 No frickin way 1. Agreed 2. It says "is my kandra still with them?" could that mean that a Kandra is somehow spying (?) on Zane & Vin, or that it's aligned with them? Or could it mean that Kelsier isn't sure whether a Kandra even exists in this game? @Anybody that played the last game, was there a Kandra role? 3. Yeah, I don't think this is RP, considering how it mentions Fynn Seidel. This seems like Joe's communicating through the writeup, like Devotary said. 4. It seems that Kelsier's wincon is centered around protecting Vin (and possibly eliminating Zane) and eliminating the Jastes Lekal's Subordinates (?) Are you saying that bc he actually seems sus to you or did you get that in a message-from-the-mist thing? Like Devotary said, I think that if Kelsier just knew who the elims were, wouldn't that make the game too easy for us? This is weird. Coop hasn't posted yet as Stink pointed out earlier, which makes me a little suspicious I think the above quote may suggest that everybody didn't receive one. Plus CadCom says they didn't get one. Now, for the NKs. The writeup heavily implies that the Bard kill was by the Mistborns so I'm assuming the Rand kill was the elims. Did Rand say something that prompted the elims to kill him? He voted on Rae, iirc. I wonder if that means anything, or if the elims just killed him to mislead our reads. I'll read his posts tomorrow and see what else I can find. And I find it odd that the Mistborn killed Bard...It wouldn't make sense unless Bard said stated something big that was threatening to the Mistborns in a PM that may have been with one of them. I struggle to see why they'd just kill him otherwise, because the top lynch candidates for D1 lynches are almost always village, right? Anyway, rereading this post I realise how little I've said but believe me this actually took me AN HOUR to type. I had to catch up on all the posts I missed from last night as well but still 1 hour is a lot.
  2. Something came up and I had to leave my apartment, so I couldn’t really reread the thread as I’d hoped to and now it’s 4 AM. Sorry. I’m going to vote, of course. Araris (5) - HH, Ark, Steel, Straw, Fura Bard (4) - CadCom, Rae, Elandera, Rath Lumgol (2) - Bard, Araris Rae (1) - Rand Joe (2) Lumgol, Mailliw CadCom (1) - Ada looks like Araris is currently up for the lynch, with Bard just one vote shy of making it a tie between them. Hm. The elims might use vote manip to move stuff around a bit if they need to, so that’ll be interesting to see. So do I want a tie? I don’t think that’ll be very good due to the previously mentioned vote manip powers that I’m assuming the elims have at least one of. We’re nowbreslly close to the end of the turn so I’d rather have a solid lynch. That’s not the only reason I’m voting Araris though. Bard voting on Lum like that after she claimed to be using her role for the benefit of the village (supposedly), really made him stand out so it’s kind of like he’s TWTBAW (too Wolfy to be a wolf). I know, I know. It’s an IKYK. But still. It’s all I’ve got at the moment. :/
  3. Or Vin. Let's not forget Zane shares a PM with her. Oh, and @Fifth Scholar, I'm assuming their PM is night only too? Sometimes people are inactive in the sense that they read stuff that goes on in-thread but don't comment on it at all xD Poke votes are useful in encouraging them to post. If I remember correctly, didn't somebody mention in the sign ups that Joe was supposed to be the co-GM? So perhaps Joe has a role like Fifth's? Or maybe something similar to Rubix's role in QF26...? Either way, I don't think he can post in-thread (at least not at this point(?)) cuz with two votes on him, I suspect he would have spoken up if he could. Thanks for the vote count ^ You have your name on there twice though Lum currently has 1 vote on her, I think. I know there's less than 12 hours left, but I still decided on a vote yet. Fura makes a decent case considering that it's D1 and we have very limited info to work with, but I think I'm gonna analyse the thread some before I vote.
  4. I get where you’re coming from, but he did say he doesn’t have any suspicions at this point and is choosing from players with a vote against them. So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I didn’t realise this was you. *faceplam* Oo, ninjad by CadCom. Nothing to say in response to the vote @Cadmium Compounder?
  5. Xinoehp I guess. I just checked, and the rules in the google doc say the stuff about ‘certain roles’ while the rules listed in the post itself say: “Coinshot 2 (Active): Each Night, you may jump around the city, making yourself untargetable to most actions. The assassin and Seeker 1 may still target you.”
  6. Nice. Steel: *claims to not have the same evil role he did last time* Also Steel: *votes on HH based on their evil role last time* Steel: So does this apply to you too? Maybe it's talking about secret roles? Did the last game have any of those? Yeah, unfortunately. We'll need to make sure we have a solid lynch today. Would be great if we could all just agree on one inactive player by the end of the day - if there is one at all. Heh, can you imagine how rad it would be if the elims pull a last minute hammer D1 and win? xD I was thinking about that too...It's good idea, but discussing our suspicions in PMs rather than in-thread would make it harder to get enough votes on the sus player when needed due to the restricted number of people involved in the discussion, and may open a window for the elims to pull their hammer? It's not like the village has any kill roles to use, apart from Thug1.(Right? Or am I forgetting something?) In the end, we'll have to resort to the thread cuz the lynch is the only way we can get rid of the elims. Plus, you never know if you're trusting the right person when it comes to PMs. All things considered, I think it's still worth trying out - we don't wanna hand the mistborn their victory. I have a question though, (and I apologise if it's already been addressed to in the past): what are the restrictions on PMs apart from the requirement of Tineye1? Is there a maximum number of PMs we can create per cycle? Are we allowed to make group PMs? etc. Now you have Now for a vote...hmmmmmm. Xinoehp *Pokes*:P
  7. Ostrich, Taldain doc: "Yeah. I even talked to lion and joked about having the shard of forgetfulness. Kind of frightful in hindsight. " hey! I thought we had a rather delightful conversation about bribes and poison and mass murders!
  8. Reading Khriss-and-Nazh conversations is very amusing, considering that it's really just Aman talking to himself xD "I’m[REDACTED]... As for me, I’m [REDACTED]" Ha xD And I'm pleased you appreciate the cuteness of opal lion
  9. Yeah, we hoped to ally with as many factions as we safely could. One of the reasons we chose this wincon over the others was because the other two would have made us the 'evil' faction and obviously not many factions would agree to ally with the evil faction. I guess luck just wasn't on our side xD Also, just skimmed through the all hail the joe cloud faction. I didn't realise c/p'ing from one doc to another was a thing. AMBITION went all out quoting me in my throwing-a-tantrum phase...
  10. I mean, yeah, we had pretty much no chance of finishing the wincon we chose after a while, but would it have been any different had we chosen those other wincons? The odium one relied too much on, well, odium, and the kill and kills one required a certain amount of kills from our side too so...eh I guessed this one. I've never played with Maill but I knew they were playing as they'd signed up publicly and at some point they went like 'SE has changed'. Dead giveaway Oh and I guessed your identity correctly too, Mage.:D I'm proud of myself.
  11. Great write-up, Seonid! Congrats to the Stewards, GlaDOS and Survival for pulling off the wins! :] I'm not going to rant about my tragic demise here again (please see dead doc for all rants) @Furamirionind, @Steeldancer, @Magestar, @Dalinar Kholin, y'all did really well! We didn't win but I sure had a lot of fun playing and watching the game from the cognitive realm:P And finally, THaNK yOU sEoNID and jOe FOR RUNNING THE LAST SHARD GAME! I held Odium in my first shard game (and gave it away to Joe huehuehue) so it was fitting that I got to use it in my last too... @Seonid YOU'LL BE MISSED ;_; But I understand that one can't keep involved in SE forever :/ Good luck. Heh not to brag or anything but I guessed a number of your identities correctly, looking at the player list now. xD
  12. I can't seem to access the rules doc at the moment, but I don't recall the generic protection being allowed to be used as a self-protect
  13. Woohoo village Nice play from the elims too. It was sorta surprising how little people were interested in making PMs this game. Speaking of actions it was very sad that only one of mine actually went through and turned out it was kinda useless because it did absolutely nothing. XD But I had loads of fun playing even though I couldn't devote nearly as much time to it as I would have liked. Nevertheless... Thanks to @Fifth Scholar and @Devotary of Spontaneity for making it happen! And not to mention the FANTASTIC write-ups. I may not be around for more SE games though I do plan to take revenge on the Synod for burning down the Tathingdwen Tautological Sciety of Tautology Ō_Ō However I will admit that your doc looks very pretty :>
  14. Bah truth is, I didn't really analyse any of Bort's posts so you might be right >> I got too lazy to analyse by the time I reached the last name on my player list ... I should probably read up now though
  15. I mean, if we're wrong about this, we can probably use the next cycle to lynch phattemer if everybody wants to
  16. Well it's certainly quiet today. Below are my thoughts regarding those of us that remain, in no particular order. Jondesu: He hasn't posted much, but Rand did try to start a lynch on him here. Plus, the fact that he supposedly chose to vote for Jond from either Kidpen or Jond speaks for itself. I don't think he'd list two of his teammates as his top suspects, especially when Jond didn't have any other votes on him already. CadCom: I was unsure about CadCom until like two minutes ago, but then I found this post. He pointed out something really useful here, something I'd never have brought up were I an elim. So I'm willing to put him under my village reads. Ark: I don't know why, but they're behaviour just doesn't seem elimy to me. Of course, they're new, so this might just be their general playstyle. Phatt: What he's been doing would be extremely bold play for an elim. Elim!Phatt would have absolutely no reason to reveal his place in the Synod doc, right? You could be going in the right direction with this, but from my experience, while it's not always good for elims to fly completely under the radar, they also try not to stand out too much. Straight up mayor-ing the Synod doc without staying anonymous doesn't sound like the best plan for an elim to me. /shrug Xino: The thing that stands out the most here is Xino's voting patterns. They always seem to cast their vote on bandwagons that have already formed. D1 Worldhopper from Yolen (0): Sart, Coop772Steeldancer (0): Araris ValerianKidpen (0): AlvronRathmaskal (0): Coop772Stick (0): Worldhopper from Yolenxineoph512 (0): ElanderaAraris Valerian (0): phattemerCoop772 (6): randuir, Snipexe, Worldhopper from Yolen, I think I am here, Kidpen, SteeldancerI think I am here (7): Sart, Araris Valerian, Elandera, Stick, xineoph512, Alvron, phattemer D2 Xineoph (1): Sart Worldhopper from Yolen (1): Ark1002 Kidpen (1): Stick Phattemer (2): Steeldancer, Alvron Snipexe (6): Araris, Rathmaskal, Worldhopper from Yolen, Xineoph, Kidpen, phattemer D3 Phattemer (1): SteeldancerRanduir (2): Cadmium Compounder, SartKidpen (6): Rathmaskal, Stick, Phattemer, Randuir, Xinoeph, BortCadmium Compounder (1): JondesuWorldhopper from Yolen (1): Ark/PrettySart (1): Kidpen D4 Jondesu(2): Sart, Steel Steel(4): Phattemer, Randuir, Bort, Xino He's kind of suspicious. He only seems to log in to come cast his vote, and it's always a vote for someone on whom Araris or Rand have cast their votes on. It's actually really suspicious now that I think about it. Bort: I think you're village. Xinoeph
  17. Fantastic. I knew the Araris/Rand interaction had to be important lol. Rand turns out to be a Full Feruchemist, so I highly doubt we have yet to kill two more elims. It seems that only one is left. Good job, whoever is was that killed Rand! It's a pity they killed Sart tho. He might've been the one that killed him. No Synod kill today, I see. Probably for the best, tho.
  18. Drat. This may sound stupid but I accidentally fell asleep before I could actually vote. ._.
  19. Sorry I'm late, but first things first. I was going through the thread, and I stumbled across this: Buttered seal. How did I not see this before. Anyway I'm not sure how I feel about this lynch going on here. Early in C2, the whole thing with Steel gut voting for Rand and Araris jokingly following him suddenly seems important now. I could see it being a sort of distancing technique between elim!Araris and elim!Rand (and I believe somebody has already brought this up in the past), but it's nothing more than a possibility bc I would rather believe Rand's village due to his posts and vote on Kidpen. Speaking of which I'd like to note that somewhere during C1 Rand said something about at least one of Kidpen and Steel being elims if Itiah flipped elim. Perhaps that should make me trust in Rand's villager-ness more bc of how he expressed suspicion of Kidpen, however it could also be seen as Rand subtly defending Kidpen in a way, knowing that itiah would flip village. Whatever though, I think I'm reading too much into it now that I type it out. Back to the three quick Rand votes on D2. Below is Steel's reaction to two other votes placed on Rand after his: Keeping Araris' alignment in mind, this specific post just doesn't seem like an elim's to me. Not superficially, at least. Though I will say that Steel declaring me as almost certainly village smells of pocketing to me. TLDR: I'm unsure about the Steel lynch Moving on to CadCom. Thing is, there was some clear suspicion on him from the thread. The elims shouldn't have felt the need to waste one of their actions sending a kill on him when there was already a chance he'd get lynched by us. So the Synod had one of its members roleblock Sart, and another to send a kill order on him? That's harsh.:P Anyhow, I find it very odd that you're just assuming (rather confidently) here that nobody from the village sent in the kill on CadCom. I know that nobody has claimed to have attacked him but this is quoted from your first post this turn. You couldn't have possibly known that it wasn't a villager that attacked him at this point in the turn. Don't take this the wrong way, I'm still reading you village. Just putting my thoughts out there. Yeah so I'm kinda puzzled rn cuz every lynch seems like a bad choice so I'm just gonna think for a little while longer
